We were looking for a Japanese maple tree. My brother Andre J. pointed us in the direction of Robert's Nursery. I didnt know they had so many different trees. Hollie and Laura were very helpful in helping us find the perfect Japanese maple that fit our yard and our budget. Thank you all for your help and I look forward to doing future business with you.

Customer service is always great here! Someone always comes out to greet you, unlike other nurseries we've been to. They are very knowledgeable about their inventory and always willing to negotiate. We drive from SW Omaha because of this.

I cannot ever get anyone to answer the phone at this location. This location is close for me but there is never anyone around to help or purchase things from. I stop here 2 or 3x a year and I can never find anyone to help so I just end up leaving without buying what I came for. Was just there and happened again.

Edit: I always walk both inside and all the way through the green house and no one is present. On the most recent day, there wasn't another customer in sight as I walked in the building, in the greenhouse or in the area with trees/plants outside. I really want to shop here because of the convenience but it always ends up being unproductive.

This is the only nursery I will go to. They always have what I need and are always friendly and very helpful. Plus I use their lawn service and I always have the best looking lawn in the neighborhood due to their monthly treatment on my lawn.

I recently contacted about six landscaping companies for quotes on a large flower bed I wanted "professionally" landscaped. Kris Massengale from Robert's was the only one who presented me with what I would call a "great design." During the consultation, he was the only one that took the time to get to know me - my thoughts, my ideas and what I wanted the project to become. With his vast knowledge of plants and bushes, he was able to incorporate plants/bushes that were not high maintenance, yet still would look great in the area. He was also the only one that "thought outside the box." He suggested that we increase the size of the existing flower bed and to go around a wishing well that was already in the yard. The wishing well looked good, but really was a pain to mow around, so now that it is part of the flower bed, my mowing time has been cut drastically. In the end, because of Kris, my large flower bed became a gorgeous landscaping feature of my yard! He is great to work with too! He answered all of my questions and we discussed my concerns. We worked together on the final placement of all the plants/bushes. Just before work began, I wanted a few other changes and as work was being done, a few more. He happily made all the changes without a second thought. Of all my quotes, Robert's was not the cheapest, yet even though my budget was tight, once I saw Kris' design, I was hooked! I am absolutely thrilled with my new landscaping & would highly recommend not only Robert's, but specifically Kris Massengale for all your landscaping needs and/or desires. He and his crews can be trusted to do a great job for you!!

I have been with Roberts for over 20 years and had a real awakening yesterday. 2 guys drove up to fertilize, saw them look in the front and backyard. I was doing something in the house ,didn't think much about it, then right away door bell rings. One of the guys hands me the invoice and they leave. It all felt funny because it all happened in a few minutes. I looked at the invoice, it said Applied Pre-Emergent, Broadleaf Control. and on the back of invoice in hand writing it said applied pre-emergent. Well looked around outside in front yard and back yard there was nothing, no fertilizer at all. I called the office to report the issue and wanted the crew leader to call me , no call yet. The 2 guys came back and gave me an excuse. got out the spreaders and fertilized only to see that one of them didn't have the spreader opened up so nothing was even coming out until I told him. This is what my pre-pay of $532.17 for the season meant to a lawn service that i used to like and have had for over 20 years. I didn't even get a phone call from Garret the lawn service manager. I never again want these guys on my property! Beware! If you are told you received a treatment from Robert's that you paid for, you may not have even gotten the treatment! Had I not been vigilant when they were here I would have been paying for nothing.

Jordan was on it from the moment he came and bid our job to the completion of the work. He met us, walked around and listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions. The bid was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The day the work began, he came with the crew, explained exactly what we wanted to see done, and left them to do their job. The crew was friendly and hard working--even in the heat! We will recommend Roberts and will use them for future landscaping.

Nice folks with a nice facility, but this review is only for pricing. The two bids I've looked at were very high. In fact, both times every bid beat them. Our most recent bid for a mulch refresh was a full 40% higher than the next closest.

In their defense, I will say that the pricing is probably very similar to Mulhalls and others. These chronic high bidders I would suggest you can do better than.

We no longer bother to call them since we know they are consistent.

love my new backyard! Definitely a great landscaping business to use. Garrett and Kris are very nice and very helpful. Even after its done they still help me to make sure my grass grows and stays healthy!

I was tired of trying to spot spray my weeds myself and having my yard the worst one on the block so I decided to hire a company for lawn care.
I asked my neighbor who was doing his lawn care with and he told me "Robert's Nursery" I got one quote from Robert's and one other quote from my other neighbor who said he had a buddy who does lawn care. Robert's was the lower quote. When I called they were very personable and easy to work with. I ended up paying for a full season of treatments. Before they come out they always call and let me know someone is coming out. I appreciate their customer service, every time I call they are quick with a response and never rude which seems to be few and far between now of days. My lawn has never looked so good and I am glad I don't have to try and spot spray and seed and constantly try to keep up with my lawn anymore.

Robert's is a great locally owned business. I have always been happy with their service and the fact that they stand behind what they sell. You will pay a little more here than at the big box retailers, but it is worth the extra expense for the service, warranty, and keeping more dollars in our local economy.

A real person answers the phone! I tried many times getting through to bigger nurseries like Mulhalls and Lanoha, but not successful. Someone answered the call the first time. I was put right through to the tree department. I was looking for a rare tree that they actually had. The employee was even very knowledgeable in the tree. Small family owned business. Big enough to have what you need. Small enough to get customer service. Prices are fair with what you see everywhere else. Cheap considering the quality of service and expertise. I also found out our tree was grown locally on the owners property.

The crew was on time, were polite and easy to work with. All the plantings were healthy and placed correctly. Any concerns I had were answered with no problem. Roberts was easy to work with.

Our experience with Robert's for landscaping was fantastic! Kris made it a smooth process during the design and estimate phase and kept us in-the-loop up until the work began. Once the day came to start, Kris and his crew made sure they understood our requirements and completed the job above expectations! I would recommend Robert's for any landscaping or lawn services - thank you Robert's for a great landscaping experience!

Robert and his team of landscapers were very easy to work with- from start to finish. From his landscape designer to the team that did the build, they were prompt, thorough, and very straightforward- which is always appreciated. The best part of working with this team is the knowledge of materials and options, as well as being aware of other needs that may have been overlooked if I had gone with another company. As expressed, I was able to get great advice and straightforward (no-nonsense) information from both Robert and the landscape designer Kris. Additionally, I was constantly surprised that the time frame that was quoted actually took much less time (due to the hard work of his foremen).
Additionally, the foremen were courteous, incredibly helpful (moving planters back to certain areas as well as moving sprinkler heads to be more efficient) AND asked for input (we were getting outdoor tile placed).
When we get our backyard completed next year, Robert's will be getting a call again. Thanks guys!

Wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable service from the admin office to the folks who come out to do the work. Reasonable prices & so nice to deal with a small local company. We're so pleased with everything-- our yard looks beautiful, and they are even careful not to spray the back yard and disturb the guinea pigs! Thanks Robert's!

We contracted with Robert's Nursery for snow removal at our business this past winter. We have been thrilled with their service! Robert's had our parking lot/sidewalks cleared at all times. They were prompt and professional. Once the weather cleared and snow melted, Robert's came back out and blew off sand/ice melt from our sidewalks several times. Working with Robert's has been effortless, which has allowed us to run our business without worrying about our snow removal. Due to the quality of their work, we have now contracted with Robert's for lawn care and landscaping services. I would highly recommend Robert's Nursery to any business looking for their services.

I love Roberts Nursery. They have taken care of the moles and they have not returned. My yard looks better than it has in years. Garrett is wonderful to work with and the price is great. Thank you so much.

Robert's Nursery was the best choice for our patio project. Our paver patio was completed ahead of schedule and above expectations. They did an amazing job. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a project done right! We've been so happy with it we have already had a few parties on it to celebrate!

Seriously awesome work!

Roberts Nursery provided the WORST customer service I have ever encountered as a consumer, and left my husband and I extremely frustrated. The company did NOT stand by their word of "providing the finest products and highest quality service possible". We recently spent $1500 on 3 trees for our backyard from Roberts Nursery on 156th and Fort. It took the company 20 days to get out to plant the trees and then (with the appropriate flags marking where we wanted each type of tree to be placed) the crew planted them in the WRONG order. (Additionally, they left our driveway covered in dirt, and crew trash in the backyard). I called right away to let them know it was wrong, the first guy I spoke with was apologetic and assured me that it would be fixed within a few days. 2 days later I received a call from the owner, Robert, telling me that his crew in fact placed the trees correctly, and that we (the customers) were wrong, with no proof whatsoever of the occurrence. He provided no sympathy, and zero apologies or options to clear up the problem. He was not willing to make up for the wrongdoing one bit, when his crew was 100% responsible for the mistake. I was disgusted by his manner and his disregard for customer satisfaction.

Furthermore, we were informed if we wanted the crew to come back out to move the trees (to the places we originally wanted them) we would lose our 2 year guarantee on the trees and additionally we would have to pay the planting fee of $230 or more. I have never met a business owner with such disrespect for the customer. We will NOT be back and suggest that others explore other local lawn/landscaping companies before walking into a horrible situation such as the one that we encountered with Robert and his company. I am truly disappointed and hope that if you are reading this review you take your business elsewhere.

Roberts is a great nursery. I have always experienced great customer service when I have questions about my lawn. They seem to know their stuff that's for sure!! Good nursery with great prices. Its a small business that's doing all the right things. Ill definitely be going back.
