We purchased a new construction home almost a year ago and wanted to get some landscaping done. From start to finish, AJ’s landscaping was great! He was very hands on throughout the entire process, very patient (including my multiple asks/revisions), and he showed up on install day. His entire crew was very respectful, quick/efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. The landscaping has totally transformed our house. We have plans to use AJ and his crew in the fall for some privacy landscaping in our backyard. 10/10!!

We were looking for a landscaping company knowledgeable in addressing the drainage issues we were experiencing at our home. AJ and his team did a fantastic job taking care of us and the problem we were having. The professionalism and communication were top notch. As an architect, it was reassuring to know that we had hired an extremely competent company who delivered on their promise of quality work and got it done right the first time. The crew from AJ’s Landscaping did a wonderful job. They were on time to start work and they picked up at the end of their work day, even raking up the grass after picking up the plywood. AJ had great ideas and suggestions to put in a dry creek bed to fix our drainage issues in our backyard. We highly recommend AJ’s!

I had AJ's Landscaping replace a failing retaining wall made of railroad ties.

After my initial call, Jerod came out and we determined that a Vertica Pro retaining wall was the best option, given the height and the need for a vertical (non-tiered) design.

Once construction began, it was clear that the crew were professionals with the right equipment for the task at hand. Materials were delivered systematically as the wall was built, allowing them to maximize the limited space and minimize downtime.

AJ's was very timely and communicated well throughout every stage of the process. Calls and texts were returned promptly, and all invoices were sent through an easy-to-use online system.

In the end, the wall looks fantastic, and I’m confident it will remain structurally sound for many years to come. I will definitely use AJ's for future projects.

Exceptional professionalism. Fantastic result. Above and beyond the contract requirements. The crew was happy to do anything we asked and did it well. They pulled every weed in the back and swept all the concrete areas, not just where they worked. When finished, the yard looked immaculate! We are very pleased.

AJ‘s landscaping is the best there is. From the bidding process, to the changes, the removal and the final product was top notch. The professionalism from him all the way to the employees was the best you could ask for. If AJ‘s didn’t specialize in the line of work that was needed, they had the best people to do the job. That made it easy for the one stop shop. The guys organized their tools and equipment and made it look as good as it could every evening. I will recommend this company to all family and friends. This is the only company I will use from here on out.

Great and timely! All the employees are respectful and they even knocked on the door when they had a question rather than ring the doorbell which I appreciate with having young children who still nap. Also, they are great with my dog when i don’t get inside fast enough. All have manners.

the nicest ladies helped me get some sand for my chicken coop! i was clueless and they pointed me in the right direction and even got a shovel and scooped it up for me (i came unprepared and they were so happy to help!) definitely recommend and definitely coming back :)

Okay service, had them do some landscaping. I liked it until i noticed part of the wall i had remove for the new wall was in the lake in front of my house. And i wouldn't use people they recommend for other services, tried twice in both cases it cost me money. Actually the comment below has nothing to do with it. But since he doesn't believe me i will post photos of the railroad ties polluting water, which i noticed just now that the lake level was lowered.

All the work that has been done for me has been of the highest quality.
Those that show photos claiming that the work was sub-standard with depictions that are only attempting to denigrate a fine company and its people . Those pictures were taken during actual construction and NOT of the finished project !!
I would not hesitate using Bill-Mar on any of my future projects.

I am frankly shocked at the negative reviews posted related to Bill-Mar landscaping. My experience has most definitely been the opposite. I had terrible rain storm drainage issues and a failing retaining wall in my back yard. They removed the old retaining wall and pavers and raised the grade around the house about 12 inches. It is now graded in such a way that rainwater flows away from the back of the house instead of towards it. They installed a new retaining wall, new patio pavers, a water feature, a fire pit, and trees and shrubs. The difference is breathtaking.

As a homeowner, I recognize it is my responsibility to ensure my lawn, trees, and shrubs receive the appropriate water and nutrients to thrive based on Bill’s recommendations. He took deliberate care selecting shrubs that would not require daily watering for the unirrigated sections of my yard.

Bill will continue to be my first call if I need further design work or if problems arise with work he has already done. And there is not a doubt in my mind he stands behind that work. Thanks Bill and kudos to your outstanding crew!

They are doing an excellent job with both the mowing and the trimming when I corrected where our lot line ended. They took care of it right away and started filling in the additional property to make sure it was all A mow and trimmed

Just started Lawn mowing service with Bill-Mar the first of June. We have been extremely pleased with their services. I have not edged the lawn in several years and after Bill-Mar edged it, the lawn looks so much better!
