Tree reviews in Gardnerville, Nevada

They brought down two broken limbs from a recent wind storm then trimmed the branches off my roof and my neighbors roof. They did exactly what l told them to do. No more, no less. They then cleaned up all the mess and left my yard looking great. Very happy with their service.

Great workers, efficient, quick, and cleaned everything! On time and very knowledgeable. The team trimmed 5 overgrown trees, and other than the trees, can’t tell they were here!
Highly recommend!
Thanks!

UPDATE 03/20/25: Joe Benigno's Tree Service was recently transferred to a new owner, Justin Warren. He reached out directly and he made things right. His team came out and grinded the stump for us, at no additional charge. He was extremely nice and really understands customer service. I've changed my review from 2 stars to 4 stars as a result. Based on this new interaction, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Justin for future tree needs.

ORIGINAL REVIEW for posterity:
I had a coupon so I figured I would try out Joe's service. We're in South Lake Tahoe so we had to wait a little while to have our tree cut down, but that was fine. Unfortunately though, they didn't finish the job...despite having a conversation with Joe about grinding the stump, they didn't do it. I was very patient and got another appointment for them to do that work. Then they came out and said they couldn't get their stump grinder down our path and we needed to cut down another tree to make room which I would need to pay for. I found another local company that did it for half the price but then after they finished, Joe said he never agreed to grind the stump in the first place and I would have to pay more for that.

Was very disappointed in the overall service after that even though most of the work was done well.

Wow I am impressed. They were working across the street so I went over to get a business card because we have a dead tree and one that is questionable. The appraiser was there so he came right over, gave us good news about the one that is questionable. saying more water and it might come back next year. Even moved my Japanese Maple in a big pot because the sick tree lost all of it's leaves causing the Japanese Maple to be in full sun now. The other tree he looked at was definitely dead with boar holes in it. Said he could do it today for a really good price. They cleaned up after they were done and hauled away the tree, even raking up the gravel walkway in our side yard. I am over the moon since the last place we called never returned our call and the last tree service we used was overpriced and damaged my arbor and argued with me about it. Anyway I will definitely be calling Joe Benigno's for our other tree work in the future. Since we have huge tree in front that needs to be trimmed back regularly to meet the association rules. I recommend these guys for sure!!

Very happy with everything . They did what they said they were going to do. They were on time . I had them here for 5 hours they cut down 4 trees Cleaned all the dead stuff out of our trees. It was amazing . I just called from a facebook add ..

Had Joe Benigno’s Tree Service come and fertilize most of the trees on our five acre property. The two man crew was friendly and listened to our concerns about the owls nesting on our property. They proceeded to inject fertilizer at the base of the trees I had designated. They were very conscientious, taking the time to do the job right, but never wasting time, we were also pleased that they took care not to trample our existing flowers and landscape.
Eddie came back a couple days later to do some spray treatments, we discussed which trees to spray and decided to make a change due to the presence of the nesting owls. Again, the work was not hurried, but no time was wasted either.
I am very happy with the quality of work we received, and am looking forward to the improved growth and health of our trees.

The crew showed up on time and were very pleasant to deal with as well as respectful to us and our property! The estimate was half the cost of the other company’s and they left everything as they found it! They coordinated well with Nv Energy to drop our powerline to enable them to take down a big three-legged cottonwood in a tough to get to area. They performed the task as agreed upon very professionally, safely and efficiently.

All in all very pleased with our experience! Would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you!

Had a large pine tree stump in my front yard. They were very professional and did a great job cleaning up. Thank you!

Large crew worked safely and meticulously
Yard looks great and I am sure my trees will be able to withstand high winds now. Very knowledgeable.

I called for an emergency tree service, they came out within 5 minutes. The tree fell and the crew were very efficient, worked as a team. Cleaned up very good. Only one thing, I was not informed that the stump was a separate charge. They need to be more informative. Overall good job

Awesome workers! They did an awesome job.
They even took the garbage bags of weeds and lots of branches that had piled up.
Such an awesome team! Our trees are trimmed to perfection, as well as our bushes.👏👏👏👏👏

Wow!! Super impressed, the crew was so nice and professional, they were super fast and cleaned up after themselves! We excited to have our mountain view back!

Everything went wonderful and the workmen were very helpful and cordial

The Joe Benigno's Team did an excellent job on a large pine tree removal! They came on the scheduled day and did what was agreed to with a little extra. Cleaned up the area nicely as well! Highly recommend their services!

Alonzo with another guy came to the house a little early which was great. He introduced himself and was very detailed in how they were going to remove the tree. After most of the tree came down, another crew came in and used the wood chipper to dispose of the material. They all worked very efficiently as one and then cleaned up thoroughly. I am very pleased with the professionalism. I have to mention Justin who was the estimator. He was very professional and friendly. Thanks to the entire team. I would hire them again.

Your crew was amazing. Very safety conscious and fast. Great cleanup and let me know how the trees should be trimmed.

These folks are quick, professional and did a great job. They also were very quick. They removed two dead trees and trimmed two of our large trees so they will be safe now during the winter. The trees look great. They also accomplished what my request was and that was to trim the trees in such a way that we got our beautiful views of the Sierras back. Their pricing for all four trees was fair. It’s definitely best to get more trees done at one time. Their big expense is in getting the equipment and crew here so one tree was far more expensive than four trees (on a per tree basis). I highly recommend them.

Fantastic service from Joe Benigno’s Tree Services from the initial quote to the final cleanup. They safely and efficiently removed a difficult tree from our backyard at a very fair price. The crew was professional, skilled, and left our property in perfect condition. I was impressed with their work and would not hesitate to hire them again. Highly recommended.

Excellent service (responsive, proactive, clear explanations and expectations, felt “taken care of” from the start)! Results are fantastic and an incredible value! First class company- definitely recommend!

The price was great and all encounterswith their staff was friendly and efficient. They did exactly what I wanted removed and cleaned up spotlessly. I would hire them again.

We have quite an extensive garden with well over 20 specimen trees. First time using Benignos service. Did an excellent job on the removals and cleanup. Very knowledgeable and efficient,, will be having them do the pruning on all our evergreens this winter 👍👍👍
