Utilized A&R through our home warranty with Old Republic, and it was really good. They were quick when we filed a service call with Old Republic, calling the same day to setup an appointment. Actually, too quick because they offered to come the next morning, but we needed a day to take off of work.
Tiber came out to take a look at our A/C unit and was super quick and helpful. He explained all the things that went wrong, and he helped give me some ideas for replacing down the road since our unit is nearly 30 years old (don't know how it's still going). Despite it's age, he got it up and running in less than an hour after he showed up. Super friendly, quick, and informative!
Will go through them if I go outside the home warranty, or even request them if I need help again! -
Michael was the absolute BEST! Consummate professional, timely, knowledgeable, and got everything handled with our new HVAC and flue vent swiftly.
He showed up after hours to assess the damage of our old system. Promptly shut off gas to protect us and our kiddo.
Had a quote for me within an hour that was extremely competitive, and their customer service called the next morning to schedule appointment.
Installed the system in a few hours, and doubled back to ensure everything was installed properly for A/C in the spring/summer too.
Left me his direct cell for any follow-up.
Often times techs and home warranty affiliates get a bad rep from a couple “bad apple” reviews, but honestly Michael was tremendous and we would recommend him and their group to anyone we know. We won’t got to anyone else for our HVAC needs and maintenance.
Thanks Michael! -
I’ve worked with A&R Complete Service Corp twice, and each time they’ve delivered excellent service. Technician Lowell was the best! He was punctual, efficient, and clear in his communication. His professionalism and attention to detail made the experience smooth, reassuring, and stress free. I highly recommend A&R Complete Service Corp and Lowell in particular to anyone seeking a reliable company.

I’m very happy with my HVAC pre-season maintenance service. The technician was on time, polite and professional. He found a bad capacitor and made the repair process through my home warranty company very easy.

My AC went out and needed a kick start. After first contact in the morning a tech was out to my home the same morning. He thoroughly examined my AC and within an hour it was working again. Greatly appreciated since my home had reached 92 indoors.

used A&R in the past and they were great! had their rep call me the other day to prepare my AC for summer and I'm glad they did! gave it a deep cleaning and made sure it was running 100%
hopefully next year I will remember to call them instead of the other way around. -
Donnie did a fantastic job with helping me out on an HVAC issue. A wind storm came into town and for some reason it caused my system to stop working. Cold nights and a one year old scared me thinking I would have no heat in my home but Donnie climbed into my attic and went to work. He identified the problem and got the job done in under two hours all while tossing me some tips on why it might have happened. Very well done, awesome customer service and I recommend A & R to anyone. I spent very little time without heat thus making my worries for my child go away. Thank you guys so much.

Arrived on time. Was careful not to make a mess. Repaired only what was necessary to make our HVAC work a bit better and to keep it under home warranty. Suggested other repairs but did not pressure us to do them.

I recently had A&R Complete Service Corp come out through my home warranty after our AC stopped working and our smart thermostat started acting up. They scheduled us quickly, and the next day Shadd was at our door.
From start to finish, Shadd was awesome—super friendly, professional, and clearly there to actually solve the problem. I’ve dealt with some tough vendors through home warranty before, but Shadd was a breath of fresh air. He walked through every troubleshooting step, knew exactly what to try next when something didn’t work, and even let me tag along so I could learn what he was doing.
Thanks to him, our AC is running again and our Ecobee thermostat is fully working before he left. We’re really grateful for his service. Shadd is the man! Highly recommend A&R and especially Shadd for anyone needing AC help. -
Jason called me to set up an appointment for my yearly AC check for Old Republic Home Warranty. He was prompt and efficient. Was able to get the work started that same day. The 2 installers stayed very late that day and apologized that they had to finish tomorrow. They called in advance both times. Every person that I had contact with during this service went above and beyond.

Last July, during the scorching summer heat of Las Vegas, my home's air conditioner wasn't working properly. Tibo, a technician from A&R Complete Service Corp, came to my house, replaced the air conditioner compressor, and did a clean and excellent job. The air conditioner is working perfectly now, and six months later, the heater is also working well. It's a great company.

This company was assigned through our home warranty. I was happy because they were came at 8:10 am on a Sunday. They fixed the issue but didn’t restore the water correctly. I called multiple times and they said they would be back. It is now 4 pm and we still have no water. Can’t flush our toilets take showers or finish our laundry…. TBC…

Ok where to start. I gave two stars instead of one because they were able to schedule me the next day and the technician arrived on time. That’s where the positives end. I had a leak coming somewhere from my upstairs bath that turned our kitchen ceiling yellow. Old republic assigned these guys to come out, knowing where the leak was coming from. The plumber says “I’m a plumber, not a contractor. I don’t open ceilings. I asked how he plans on accessing the pipes to fix them and I was told that the home warranty won’t cover opening the ceiling, they only fix the pipes and that I need to call another company and pay out of pocket to get this guy access. He actually had the audacity to tell me the best way to proceed was to file a claim with my home INSURANCE (pay the $1000 deductible!!) and have them call a water and mold restoration specialist to open the ceiling. Then he can come back to fix the pipes. All this without even knowing anything about the leak. You may think I’m making this up, but I kid you not. Now I’m only partially an idiot- I didn’t call the insurance but I did pay a different company (that’s hard to spell…get it?) $360 to cut a hole in the ceiling. I believed this jerk that the home warranty won’t cover the ceiling opening. When they left I called old republic back and requested a different company to fix the issue now that there was access to the pipes. They proceeded to inform me that all this technician had to do was call for permission to open the ceiling (which they said they’d always give if access to the pipes is needed). I called the guy back to tell him that old republic would have allowed him to open the ceiling. He doubled down on not being a contractor and told me any plumber that cut a hole without knowing exactly where the leak was is incompetent 🙄 he said the guy we had got lucky that he identified the leak with one hole cut. I’m sure this technician is very capable of fixing pipes that are easily accessible, but if you have the misfortune of having a leak behind drywall, go elsewhere. And, if they tell you that the home warranty won’t cover something, call and ask. Also, for the love of Gd, don’t call your home insurance for a small leak even if a ‘seasoned plumber’ says you need restoration without first seeing the problem. This company should reimburse me what I had to pay because their employee was incompetent

A&R in Reno was an absolute miserable company to deal with. We recently purchased a house and during the summer months discovered that the HVAC system in the attic was leaking water on the Drywall. We contacted the Home Warranty and A&R were dispatched. Long story short, A&R had to come out to my house over 4 times as they could not resolve the issue. The Techs did not have the needed parts when they arrived, and I had to provide the techs with multiple parts so that they could attempt to fix the issue. Additionally, the Techs were unprofessional and left a significant amount of trash in my attic. It is also almost impossible to get ahold of anyone especially a supervisor at A&R. I had to call every single day for over 3 weeks before a supervisor would call me back. The only reason that I did get a call was because I filed a complaint with the home warranty. To make things worse, I personally feel the supervisor retaliated against me. After two months of trying to repair my unit, the supervisor finally came out to look. Within 3 minutes the supervisor determined that the unit was damaged and denied my claim with the home warranty. He left and I never heard from them again. I contacted the home warranty to request a second opinion, another fantastic company came out, diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes and sent the information off to the home warranty. Two days later they were back out to fix the problem. A&R dragged out my issue for almost 3 months, lied about the issue and ghosted me. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I can give this people. -* A&R was the company send by my insurance... if possible they try to up sale 🤔.
They said my unit needs to be replaced for a new one. Cuz is old and. Missing parts that's why is not cooling but let me ask my self was cooling for last 4 months.. now is missing parts thats why is not cooling...where the parts go and they empty the freon from unit stay away from this people I will never recommend this company to anybody save your money do your research before calling this scam company -
Horrible company. Poor communication. They came out to look at my unit on a Friday, & the tech said they would give me a call on Monday as he couldn’t do anything that day. I had to call back before they closed on Monday to schedule a new appointment for them to fix the issue on Thursday. I take another day off work (Thursday) to get my AC fixed only to receive a call the morning of saying the part they needed was now a week out. Wasted so much time dealing with this company. I called another company who had it fixed that day. Please explore other options before dealing with this company so you don’t have to deal with the same frustration I did.

The worst company around. I encourage you to look elsewhere for repairs. In making a claim through American Home Shield (AHS) for water coming out of my vent, Shadd from A & R Complete Service came out and did not complete the service. Shadd did not go into the attic to check the source of the leak. He proceeded to tell my wife he "didn't fit" in the attic. He left with no repairs being completed. 1 1/2 weeks later I have water damage in my bathroom. I called AHS for a recall and Shadd came out and he proceeded this time to enter the attic where the leak was. He said "It was a moved trip pan. I didn't see it last time because I didn't go that far back." I asked about the damage done from the first visit to the second visit and their negligence of not entering the attic and going to the source of the leak during the first visit. Their response is "We are not covering it." They lied to AHS about the initial visit to cover their poor craftsmanship and professionalism. A & R's integrity, professionalism, and job performance is in serious disarray. If you get assigned them through AHS please respectfully decline this business and seek another business that will actually help you not hurt you.

They are absolutely scamming people. They told me the coils couldn’t be replaced because they supposedly weren’t compatible with the older unit—and that I’d have to replace the entire system for $7,800! Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion. I had another HVAC technician come out from a different company, and guess what? They fixed the issue with no problem at all—for just $80. This company will say anything to upsell you and take advantage of customers who don’t know better. Dishonest and predatory—avoid at all costs.

As a property manager, dealing with A & R Complete Service has been a complete nightmare. They were assigned through home warranty and have done nothing but cause unnecessary delays with zero accountability. Their lack of communication is beyond frustrating — I’ve had to call them and the home warranty company back and forth for days, and still, nothing is resolved. It feels like they do the bare minimum just to stall the process, wasting time instead of fixing the actual issue.
If you’re looking for efficiency, transparency, or even basic customer service, look elsewhere. I strongly advise avoiding this company at all costs. -
This one is funny if it were not completely out of line and ridiculous. I wish I could give Zero starts. The furnace in our single level home stopped working. The furnace is only 8 years old, so even though we have a Home Warranty Co, we called a local HVAC Co. thinking it would be something small & quick (it is down to 22* in Reno at night now), and we would pay out of pocket. They came out, went under the house where the furnace it located and diagnosed a blown motor on the blower. $1,200 repair. So we did call our Home Warranty Co. Waited 5 days in cold Reno 22* at night weather. A technician shows up today and refuses to go under the house because it was "dirty". I attached the photo the company sent as their excuse for their technician leaving without even viewing the Furnace. What you see there is the 'landing' to under the house {concrete w/ the start of soil}. The plastic is the beginning of the visquine plastic that is put down all over under the house. It is clean, no debris, no excess soil, etc. Of course their technician would have no idea because he stood up outside the opening, snapped the photo and refused to go in. To make things worse, children live in that super cold house - the company could care less. When dispatch emailed that ridiculous photo as their "reason" for excusing their technicians refusal to go under the house to service the unit, I called them and they hung up on me, then would not answer the phone when I tried to get thru again. Oh, and they told the Home Warranty Company that the technician "fixed the problem" and "everything was resolved" ? ? WHAT ?? He never even laid eyes on the Furnace. How are you going to lie like that ? ? I do not understand. I have been under the house more than once. There is quite a bit of clearance and it is definatly NOT "dirty". I do not understand how this company is still in business. Please do not waste your time. Now we have to wait until Monday until the Home Warranty Co. can even 'assign' an alternate HVAC Company and wait another week for them to come out. All because this guy refused to do his job. So frustrating !

A&R Complete Service told us it would take 4 days before they could come out to check our air conditioner. During which it was hitting 100 degrees outside. We have pets and seniors in the home but that didnt warrant any emergency. When they showed up, the technician didn't have the correct ladder. They did not try to reschedule or call the supervisor. The technician left after calling without getting out of the truck in the parking lot. We were standing there waiting to show him where we lived and watched him ignore the situation. I highly recommend for you to call ANY other A/C repair company because we did, and the new service provider showed up the SAME day and fixed a simple fuse.
I also recommend that any home warranty company cease referring to this lackluster service.
