Horrible, horrible company. I would have given zero stars if that was possible. Zero effort, bad customer service, zero communication. If you need HVAC help save yourself time, effort and a big headache and DON'T call A&R.

Zero Stars. Completely removed a high limit switch in the blower cabinet of my furnace which would allow the unit to burn itself to the ground. The company tried to have the technician come back out to my house but they lost my trust. I don’t want them to service my unit and jeopardize the health and safety of my family.

Absolute WORST company, please do not use. We had a severe leak in our ceiling of our master bedroom and this was the company that our home warranty company sent out. We waited three days for the plumber to come out and he ended up not even leaving our foyer after we explained what was going on, instead telling us that it was an HVAC leak. He was in our house for all of a minute. So the next day the A&R sent out an HVAC person who confirmed that it was an HCAV issue because the glue and primer that held the PVC pipes together had failed, causing one of the PVC pipes to slip out of the elbow joint that was holding it. A&R; however, reported to our warranty company that the only way this pipe could have come out is by someone PULLING IT OUT MANUALLY, which means the claim wouldn't be covered. Why on god's green earth would anyone climb into their second story attic, crawl the 10ft over to this joint, when it's over 115F to pull a pipe out and thereby cause their ceiling to collapse and expose their pregnant wife to mold that has now set in?! We were told by the technician we could pay $400 and he would fix it right now (yes, $400 when all that needs to be done is slap some glue on the pipe and stick it back in the elbow joint) or he will get approval from the warranty company and come back. Since the claim was denied because the tech told the company that we did this ourselves, the warranty company said that they can have the tech come back out and we would just have to pay the $649 that is now the estimate to have the pipe repaired.

Now I know what you are thinking, just go up there and put the pipe in yourself, totally get it. Except now we have 3'x5' hole in our ceiling where the water removal company had to remove the damaged drywall, which we now have to pay for out of pocket, as well as whatever it will cost to repair the missing drywall. We have since confirmed with another HVAC company what the issue is and they said that this isn't uncommon in the Las Vegas valley as homes are built suspended and therefore shift, putting extra pressure on the pipes, in addition to the extreme heat.
    Thanks A&R!

This company is an absolute joke. My home warranty sent this company to my house to fix my unit on top on my house. When the tech came out he was on my roof for maybe ten minutes talking me that he reset my unit and that my unit is old and needs to be replaced. I told home to tell it to my home warranty and get it done and nothing ever got done. About 20 minutes after he left the unit stopped forking again and my home warranty made me pay another 75 dollars to have them come out again and the same scenario occurred when I came the second time. Finally after I had to yell they came out and fix the heater. Just in time for summer! And lo and behold my air-conditioner didn’t work so I had to pay my home warranty to come out again but they sent a different company air pro masters. The technician from air Pro Master’s told me that whoever worked on my unit last was trying to kill us because every safety switch on my unit was bypassed meaning my unit to catch fire at any time and not save itself because of the sensors were bypassed. My home warranty told me they’re not gonna cover it because it is not normal wear and tear. So I called AR and they told me they won’t be doing anything about it to take it up with my home warranty. This company is a disgrace they can’t even stand behind their own work and the work that they leave can potential he kill people and they’re OK with that! I do not recommend anybody using this company because peoples lives are at stake!

This company did home warranty repair work to replace an AC. It is almost 2 years later and now they want me to pay $350 for a city inspection because they didn't get it done in time. Their response was that we tried to call you but you don't respond. Of course, I don't answer phone calls from unknown numbers or respond to voicemails saying that something is going to cost me money for work done 2 years ago. If they really needed to get ahold of me to complete the inspection done, they probably should have sent a certified letter.

Very unprofessional told him if he checked the heat exchange lied to me told me he did came back the next day after I showed him proof of the broken heat exchange and then did a actual check due to him getting caught lying. He went as far as telling me he did a special test and that's how he knows the heat exchange was not broke. Went back and forth for about 4 weeks now changed prices about three times just very unprofessional I believe the guy's name was Jason or James. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. I ended up canceling their services due to poor communication and being very unprofessional. I'm glad I had a second opinion and had someone else come and check it.

Sketchy company. American Home Shield AHS sent this company for a routine yearly service. Keep in mind that there was nothing wrong with my heating. The heat worked fine. The tech comes out from the crawl space and says you need a new capacitor in your heating unit. He hooks the one in his hand up to a electric reader which shows zero. I ask, how can it be zero when the heat works just fine? He had no answer. He then gets AHS on line to approve a new capacitor which they did and charged me $100 fee. I'm sure he shows that same old capacitor to every home owener. Tech then wants to know where my AC unit is. So I escort him outside and stay with him. He doesnt even look at it. Was probably going to sabotage my unit for more money. I had another appointment set up with them through my Fidelity Home Warranty for another property which I will cancel. STAY AWAY from A R. Thieves.

Review for A&R Complete Service Corp. in Henderson, NV
I am filing a complaint against A&R Complete Service Corp., the company assigned by my home warranty provider, American Home Shield. My appointment was scheduled for August 30, 2025, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The technician did not arrive until 4:15 p.m., over four hours late, and without any prior communication.
When I expressed my frustration about his lateness, he was immediately defensive and rude. Instead of apologizing, he said, "I don't have to tell you anything!" This was a completely unprofessional and disrespectful response. I immediately told him I no longer wanted his service.
The situation escalated from there. The technician refused to give me his name or a supervisor’s contact information, telling me to "call the number on the side of the truck." He then took out his phone and pointed it at me, as if recording me. After this, he left without ever even looking at my A/C unit.
Later, I discovered the company had lied to American Home Shield, claiming I had canceled the service because I was "rude." The company representative, Missa, repeatedly hung up on me when I tried to address their false report. The only professional I spoke with was Vanessa, who was kind, apologetic, and listened to my complaint.
This company is dishonest and employs rude, disrespectful technicians. I am still waiting for an apology from a manager. I urge others to be warned about their unacceptable customer service.
