Great company!! I have had a ton of commercial electrical companies do work for me in my life time. But I can say with no hesitation, Preferred Electric is the best knowledgeable contractors I have ever dealt with. Great electricians and fair honest price.
They don't do residential, maybe that's why they are as good as they are!!

I’d give Zero stars if I could. Just driving on the road and one of your brilliant field workers decides he’s going to merge into my lane without checking his mirrors and nearly kills me. Then speeds off pretending he did nothing wrong, saying that his blinker gave him right away. I’d be ashamed to have someone like this represent my company. Dash Cam was provided to Proper Authorities.

The quality of service, they left the area cleaned as if they have not been there. It was easy. High demand for their services but it is worth wait. Emergency lighting etc, passed inspection.

Do not allow these electricians to work on your home. They were sub-contracted by Anthony Sylvan Pools to do the electrical work at my house and installed an indoor GFCI oulet. This consequently shorted out when we had inclement weather throwing an extra 120v across my neutral killing my pool heater which is wired 120v. They will not take responsibility for it and gave me an estimate to "look" at the issue for $475.00. DO NOT TRUST THEM OR ANTHONY SYLVAN POOLS!

My pool builder hired Murphy Electric and I paid for an upgrade to a 50amp subpanel vs. the 30amp that would be standard for my pool build.

- To add my 50amp pool subpanel breaker, they had to move and combine some others. Well, they upsized two single 15amp breakers onto a 20amp tandem and put it into a slot that didn't support tandems. The panel door has a diagram showing where tandems are allowed! They did eventually come out and install a 15amp tandem in the right spot, but it took weeks of pestering my pool builder to get the electricians to even contact me.
- I paid for a 50amp panel for future additional use vs. the 30amp standard. They ran 8 gauge copper for the 173' run. Similar installations call for 6 gauge at that length due to voltage drop being outside of NEC standards. After weeks of unanswered questions they showed the wire is rated for 50amps, but have not produced a voltage drop calculation that I've asked several times from two levels of management over 2+ months to prove that I can actually use the future capacity upgrade I paid for.

Based on my experience, I will not use Murphy Electric again and would not recommend them to others.

Richard and Jorge did a wonderful job hanging 5 pendants in two different rooms. They were professional, thorough and helped with placement using their lasers so I could determine the distance and separation Within the room. The pictures don’t do it justice. Nevada power left me hanging with no electricity. They changed my meter then my power would not come back on. I had no power so I called electricode. Richard came to fix the problem. I decided to replace everything after all. He waited for about 2 hrs till NV energy came back to replace the meter. Finally power was back and we didn't have to spend the night in a hotel. Great job Richard.

However, I need to justify the EV Level 2 charger installation cost of $4,252, which does not include the charger. This amount seems a bit steep, and I believe there is not enough material and labor time to justify that cost.

We have used Electricode for many years with any of our electrical needs. Adrian, Yael, and Nick (among others) have been wonderful technicians. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional with their work. Would recommend them to anyone.

Adrian & John frequent our Starbucks just about every morning. They are so nice and always have a great attitude. Most people come in half asleep and barely even respond when you say good morning to them! Not these guys though! I had the pleasure of working with Adrian to install my Tesla Wall Connector, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, Adrian was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented.

He walked me through the plan, answered all my questions, and handled everything—from permits to power calculations—with confidence and skill. The final installation looks absolutely amazing—clean, symmetrical, and perfectly aligned. He even ran a 15-foot conduit with care, making sure it didn’t look bulky or out of place.

Adrian also took the time to test the charger, ensure proper functionality, and gave me a full walkthrough of how everything works. It’s rare to find someone who takes so much pride in their work, and it really shows.
