My Name is Jeff Jorgensen, I seldom leave reviews good or bad. In this case my review is deserved. It's not just for what they did right but also for how they handled adversity, I was warned by a friend that I should be prepared for a likely poor and frustrating experience generally (not specific to Sol-op) as he referred me to his out of state solar provider. I was warned about how it could be stressful and unseemly like a used car purchase. That was not the case at Sol-up I'm happy to say.

I'm the kind of guy that likes to do his own research before a large purchase like this. I have an idea what I wanted but needed experts to bounce my ideas off of. This team was supportive of my vision and worked with me towards what I consider to be a very nice installation. My salesperson Antonija was a big part of my decision to proceed. I did get other quotes for due diligence but the other sales pitches were far less impressive. One from Sun Run made my friends warning ring true.
Antonija kept my project on track and I thank her for that. As expected a great many people are needed to get it all done. Without exception everyone at Sol-Up was friendly and professional. The installation process took less time than expected. I spent more time than most with the engineers on the location and number of panels and how I wanted a clean installation the conduit run thru the attic so only the panels would be visible and they be mounted to racking that would be fully under the panels. As the panels would be on my roof along my driveway I wanted it to be as attractive as possible. The REC panels I selected are all black and awesome. The panel installation was quick and the team was friendly and professional. The install was perfect but there was a slight problem for me.
The standard bird mesh that they installed was functional but didn't fit my vision. It was perhaps a bit too long as it splayed out onto the roof a bit. It would keep the critters out but it was unattractive. It didn't give me joy. I contacted Sol-up and we agreed to a resolution that worked for me where we worked together to make my vision a reality. Their working with me on a fair resolution gives them extra points for customers service. I've held off on posting this review until we re-did the screening. I cost me more than the standard screening but that's acceptable as the result is a VERY professional solar panel installation that I am proud of. Without exception the Sol-up team deserves my sincere thanks and recommendations.
These people deserve a gold star placed on their foreheads and perhaps a pay raise.

I am thrilled with my experience with Sol-Up. When I decided to proceed with a solar system in November 2024, their team demonstrated exceptional dedication and efficiency. They promptly conducted a site survey and are working to finalize a customized design, seamlessly coordinate with my HOA, and manage the permitting process. Their commitment will ensure that we are connected to NV Energy and have our monitoring and activation set up by the end of the year, allowing us to take advantage of the IRA rebates next year.

Edit: I've had our panels up for several months now, and they are producing more energy than our household uses, which was our goal. My favorite thing has been our SPAN panel we installed as part of this project. The associated app provides real-time insight into where we're using energy in our house, how much we're using, and how much solar power we're generating, which has helped us make informed decisions on easy ways to be more efficient (see images). I highly recommend considering the installation of a SPAN panel as well.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Sol-Up. From the moment I contacted them, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. The sales process was transparent and informative, and they tailored a solar system perfectly suited to my home's needs.

The installation was seamless and efficient, and the quality of the solar products is top-notch. The 25-year warranty provides incredible peace of mind. I'm just about to go live with the solar system. The goal is be net zero with NV Energy and all indications are I will be creating significant savings on my energy bills and feeling great about reducing my carbon footprint.

Sol up was great. Starting with John and continuing with Jaclin Keaton and others and ending with Emmanuel Salcido I am very happy. Two minor issues with EMU and one panel were addressed and corrected within 24 hours. Highly recommend this firm if you’re interested in adding solar. Rigo checked are roof inside and out and our electrical box. Very professional and filled me in on what was going forward. Excellent work. Installed panels today all went well. Brendan was great. Men on the roof cleaned up afterwards. Very happy,Tony. Also Keeton P came for final inspection and was great. He even found a broken roof tile that Sol-Up will fix. Again very happy with Sol-Up. Can only speak so far in regards to sales, coordination, and installation. Had a Tesla powerwall with additional battery installed by Sol-Up. Sales was reasonable that went through all the options of payment. Coordination was outstanding. There are several steps involved, from home inspection, to planning installation, to getting city approval. The coordinators kept be informed throughout the process and did not over promise on timelines nor did hold back any information. they were prompt and accessible by phone and text. installers were well prepared and worked diligently on installation. no problems so far.

Signed contract July 15th and solar was fully operational August 18th - total process was around 4 weeks. Used a 3rd party inspector who said the install looks great. Can't ask for better than that. Thank you to Sol-Up team: Timm, Michael, Keeton, and Tony.

Sol-Up has been an excellent company to work with. They have provided top-notch service, especially compared to my first experience with another company when I received the first part of my solar system in 2019. They have kept me informed throughout the process and have been responsive to my texts and calls. I especially want to give thanks to John Tutino and Emmanuel Salcido. John always answered my texts and followed up with whoever I needed to talk to. Emmanuel was great at explaining the system and getting it turned on for me. Thank you, Sol-Up.
