Juan and David did an incredible job transforming our backyard. They started when they promised and did everything we wanted and more! They will also be doing our front yard. We highly recommend them for your landscaping projects. Also, they will be doing quarterly maintenance to keep everything looking fresh!

Juan is very responsive and had great ideas. He gave me a fair bid and was upfront and honest which was so refreshing and much appreciated. The crew did the work in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves. I am so happy with the finished product! I love the travertine patio, lighting and step stone cut out upgrades I chose. My backyard was sad looking before and now it’s gorgeous, everyone that comes over compliments it! I love sitting out there now and my dogs love it too.

When we decided to get our front and backyards done, we had no clue what we wanted. We did a search on google and picked three companies. Juan at FreshStart called us first (I think it was somewhere in the two-hour range after we made the request for a quote) to make an appointment. Juan set up the appointment that same day KUDOS. Juan noticed that we had dogs (two big dogs and one little dog) and that we have kids' preteen. We did not know what to do with the backyard, we knew we did not want rock, then Juan suggested DG (decomposed granite) he said it will be cost effective, and it is great with pets and kids. Since we have dogs and kids, we did not want plants, Juan said then DG is the way to go. We really like the DG it looks great it is solid and now the dogs can run around the back yard without us worrying about them getting hurt on the rocks. For the patio we wanted pavers, and Juan said we should go with a travertine since it will be cooler in the summer (which will be better for the kids and dogs). In the front yard Juan also saved us money suggesting we go with a board of rock at the sidewalk and DG at the top close to the house and it will be more of an eye catcher. Also, Juan offered to dig the hole for the flagpole I was putting up. When the other companies came (a week later) to me it seemed like coming over was an inconvenience and they would not dig the hole for the flagpole. FreshStart was more expensive, but it paid off in the long run. Juan and his crew were awesome they kept us informed every step of the way, we had no issues, and we love our new landscape. I wish they did Patio covers also, but they also recommend a copy and again Juan saved us money with the patio cover. Juan also had samples with him and the other companies did not and the travertine was cooler than the pavers. If you are looking for new landscaping, I highly recommend going with Juan at FreshStart his character, compassion, his communication skills, and him making the recommendations make this company superior over any other landscape company.

Juan and his team did an amazing job , top quality job in a timely manner . They installed some travertine in our porch ;also brand new beautiful turf in our yard , we couldn’t be happier with the job they did -we highly recommend him and his team .

FreshStart landscaping delivered for our home near Centennial Parkway and N Shaumber rd in Centennial Hills, North Las Vegad. We bought our plants from Moon Valley Nursery's North Las Vegas location. FreshStart came into execute exactly what we wanted and also providing input on what can be done and what was not possible (due to slopes in yard). Having done projects in the past in town, they where professional, on time, they didn't change the price, we didn't make changes, came out exactly to plan. Turf looks awesome and so do the pavers. Totally recommend. Super nice to work with.

David and Juan went above and beyond to meet our needs during our backyard renovation. From the initial consultation to the final details, they were communicative, reliable, and incredibly thorough. They listened to our vision, offered thoughtful recommendations, and executed everything with care and precision.

They were absolutely fantastic. Very professional and got the work done quickly. We let our yard get too far out of our control and they were able to help us get back in control with a complete new look that blows away what we had before. Definitely the best landscapers in the centennial hills area.

Juan and crew at FreshStart did a stellar job on a yard that had suffered years of neglect due to unfortunate circumstances including dishonest landscapers who were charging for work never done.
Juan came by soon after I called him and quoted me a very reasonable price which he broke down in detail with such transparency I thought he started to resemble Casper the friendly ghost!
Not only did he give me a fair price but he and his crew in one day were able to very thoroughly and efficiently clear out, clean, and gravel a yard so overgrown and matted down with dead grass, leaves and vegetation it would have taken me who knows how long to do given how labor intensive and massive the job was.
They also replaced a drip irrigation system and removed a tree for much less than other companies quoted me.
They really hooked me up and I know who to go to from now on for all my landscaping needs.

We are renovating our front yard and gathered several quotes to find the one that felt right for us. When Juan from Fresh Start Landscaping provided his estimate, he was very informative and detailed about the project and pricing, which made me feel at ease. His quote was in the middle range, but I felt confident choosing his company.

Throughout the project, Juan maintained excellent communication at every stage. Both Juan and David, the owners, were present on-site daily to supervise and support the crew. They worked efficiently and kept the area clean. Once the job was finished, Juan was the last to leave, ensuring everything was satisfactory.

After the work was done, I had some questions regarding a few plants, and Juan was more than willing to help. I look forward to collaborating with Fresh Start again when I'm ready to tackle my backyard.

Juan walked me through the process of Designing pavers in my backyard and communicated with me every step of the way. The bid was exactly what we thought was reasonable. He was incredibly friendly and informative about the different stone types. Juan and his team showed up on time and did a fantastic job. His designs he drew up look exactly they did in the pictures and now they are in my backyard. I am so happy i decided to go with this company. Fresh start 100% exceeded my expectations.

Communication was great with the FreshStart team, that was very important to us. We loved Juan's ideas, and David was great throughout the job explaining all my questions. Great to work with, highly recommend. They where the right choice one-time. Literally no problems after, I also waited sometime before writing this to see.

We were holding off for our dream back yard to be affordable. We explained to Juan that our budget may be limited and he agreed to come give me a bid anyway. I honestly didn’t think we could pull it off. The computer design made it easy to understand and insures it looks right. Feng shui is important to us as my wife has Asian lineage.
Fresh Start (Juan) was amazing and we probably got our super enjoyable and intentional family area earlier that we ever expected. Our yard in most months is where we share meals and connect.

From Juan's first visit and the wait for HOA approval of planned landscaping work and the follow up after letting him know of said approval, FreshStart took care of everything, especially what the HOA wanted... including installation of weed barrier. FreshStart scheduled the day, the gravel delivery, etc...The work was done fast. Lastly, good job guys. Thank you...👍
