Action Lawn and Landscape is the maintenance vendor for the large community I manage. Our property is unique with tons of xero-scaping and can be a challenge to maintain weeds, trimming and irrigation. Action Lawn and Landscape does a fantastic job maintaining the community and it extremely responsive to an issues or additional work that is needed. Action has completed in a timely and professional manner many projects with our paver walk-ways, removal of overgrown shrubs etc. Each member of the Action Lawn and Landscape team from the irrigation guys, management/ownership and project estimator are a pleasure to work with!

Would recommend Action Lawn & landscape company to any and all my neighbors and friends. Very satisfied with the outcome, price was acceptable, and work was very professional. Would use them in the future for any other landscape project.

First the good. Alejandra is fantastic (the office administrator). Now the bad. I paid roughly $150 in advance for them to come out and do a "one time cleanup" of a house I recently moved into. Evette came here, met with me, looked it over and provided the quote. I agreed and after the rains a week or so ago, their team came out (3 individuals). They were supposed to trim, clean and spray weed killer (front and back). When I was in the back yard with the lead of the team, I told him "oh and while you're trimming, if you want to get the stuff poking through the fence feel free to do so". The guy nodded. I also said "when you're done let me know and we can review things". So they were here for roughly an hour doing their thing -- and then bam - they just left without saying anything. I went outside and saw an entire area in the front wasn't blown or cleaned, and on the front side of the house there was still a lot of debris. They did trim the "mini jungle" I had on the rear side of the house, and they also trimmed the sage poking through the fence, but a ton of debris was left. I wanted to wait a few days to see if the green weeds were going to die (I didn’t know the extent of the spraying they did). I called and notified Evette, and she drove out here and agreed with me they didn’t clean up the front areas. But when she saw the debris from the trimmed sage that was poking through the fence, she said “oh they weren’t supposed to do that”. Well, it took them all of 3 minutes. I apologized and told her I didn’t mean to go beyond the order and if they did a fantastic job elsewhere I’d be OK paying a little extra; but the problem is they did a mediocre job at best (which she agreed with!). So she said she would send them back out “next week” (this was last week). Well, I called yesterday and Evette informed me “the owner” decided not to send them back out because they trimmed the sage and that wasn’t part of the deal (wholly ignoring the fact they didn’t even do the cleaning they were supposed to, which Evette even confirmed). We’re talking about something that probably took 3-4 minutes total (no joke). I told her I was very disappointed and asked if they would at least come back out and spray again since they missed a number of areas (I already have green popping up!). She said she would check with the owner and get back to me (yesterday). So here we are; no response, and in the end, it doesn’t really matter. They didn’t do a good job at all (cleaning up) and then made excuses as to why they weren’t going to come out and do the job they originally said they would. So, I recommend passing on this company. I certainly won’t use them again. Now I have to go out and get my own weed killer and spray down areas they missed and clean up the debris they left behind…

This is the second backyard job Action as done for us from retaining wall and concrete to more concrete, curbing, irrigation, drainage and GRASS. Both were done professionally and efficiently. Crews are great to work with and courteous; couldn't be happier with the completed job. Best part, no mud.

I called last week for a quote and the front desk girl was so polite and friendly. Definitely refreshing compared to other places I've called. I was transferred to a manager Evette and she was able to provide me a price for my rental property right over the phone. Saul has some great girls in the office there. Thank you ladies for the help!

Worst Landscaping company I have ever dealt with. Signed up for weekly mowing and an irrigation turn on for a rental property. It took
Over a week to get a call back. When they came out to perform the "Irrigation turn on" I got a call from the tennant stating they had no water in the house, so I had to go out and turn the house water back on. After 2 months of mowing I got an email from them stating that the grass was dry and I might want to check the watering time, at this point I found that they never even turned the sprinkler system on from the garage. Once that was done one of the main valves was broken no doubt due to their incompetence. They then refuses to pay for the $1000 repair to the broken irrigation valve after I left 3 message asking for a response over a 2 week period. Terrible company choose someone else.

Action Lawn and Landscape has taken care of our yard for years. Evette and Saul have always been great to us. The sprinkler tech Rene is amazing and works magic with the system. Thanks a bunch to the hard working team!

I use Action Lawn and Landscape every year for our lawn and yard maintenance. They always go above and beyond and our yard has never looked better. The staff on site is always nice, and the office staff is great and available. 10/10 would recommend.

We purchased a new construction home in March 2013 and wanted our backyard finished by Memorial Day. Several contractors came out to give us ideas and estimates (too many for me to remember). Action Lawn and Landscape had the owner Saul come out to do the estimate. He was the most professional and I liked his ideas. He has a lot of knowledge of landscaping and I can tell that he has actually done the work. A couple of the large contractors in town quoted us twice what Action Lawn cost, with fewer features. They also sent out guys that called themselves "designers" and didn't know as much as Saul did about what could be done. I appreciated Saul's down to earth and professional attitude. He was willing to listen to what I wanted in my yard and made it happen.

The crew was amazing and professional. All of the guys were true professionals arriving early and working hard all day. The guys appeared to be in their 30's and were clean-cut. I felt safe having them work in my yard. They also appeared to know what they were doing. Several of our neighbors have hired other companies that took twice or triple the time to complete their jobs. I was pleased that Action Lawn was finished in five days.

We had all of the following installed: cement on the side of the house, patio paver patio (all leveled perfectly), grass, irrigation, drainage, raised bed garden, plants and vines, decomposed granite, and a decomposed granite patio in one area for a fire pit.

I am very pleased with my results from Action Lawn and Landscape. From the estimate, to the work, to the price (very good price), and timely work. They are great. I highly recommend without hesitation.

Action Lawn and Landscape transformed my backyard into paradise! They added special designs to my walkways that make it look anything but ordinary and the trees, flowers, and shrubs were gorgeous! Their crew worked hard to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction! I highly recommend them!

We are very happy with the work that was done on our back yard. Our pavers look amazing. The crew was prossional and Joe was very helpful in helping us decide what we really needed while keeping within our budget. After toying with the idea of doing the work ourselves, we decided it wasn’t worth the headache to plan and execute it all. These guys know what they are doing. It was nice to just relax and watch our dirt lot turn into a beautiful landscape.

I have used action lawn and landscape for 23 fantastic years. What you don’t know until you work with this company is that the personal service and the desire to do the job right every single time no matter what it takes is the hallmark of Gladys and Annette and crew. I invite them to take pictures of my property and post them because My landscaping is not only the selling point of my home but it has been the location of many fantastic parties and family events. Thanks to the great customer service my wife was given by the ladies at Action Lawn a few months ago we decided to have them take care of our new home. The crew they sent for the work was polite and clean and the owner even came out to see that we were happy with the end result. Definitely a forever customer. Thanks a bunch to your whole team.

Couldn't have been more pleased with Action from the beginning of our project to the final product. Everyone involved was great and the owner even came out to make sure everything was right. They helped us with the planning and actually tried to save us money. My yard looks better than I had even imagined it would and for a very reasonable price. I actually only gave them a call because of the reviews I had read and they were right, I am so glad I did

Our association with Action Lawn and Landscape was excellent. Saul Vega, the General Manager, was so good about keeping us posted on all aspects of the job. It was great that we didn't have to do anything. When all the permits were approved, the crew arrived and did a great job. We would recomment Saul and Action Lawn and Landscape and would hire them again in the future.

The estimate was not the lowest, nor was it the highest, but we strongly felt it was a very fair price.The crew arrived on time; were very courteous and friendly. They are very knowledgeable with trees, flowers, and landscaping questions".

We recently had Action Lawn & Landscape put in new landscaping in our front and back yard and are very pleased with the results. The crew was fast and friendly and did a beautiful job. All of the employees are easy to reach and will help rectify any problems immediately. I have been using Saul and Action Lawn for all of my yard needs for 15+ years. Service has always been top notch, and prices reasonable. He does the spring "kickoff" every year with aerating, thatching, fertilizer, and getting the sprinklers tuned up. His crews are always professional, hardworking, and show up on time. The Action Lawn and Landscape crew just completed the end-season cleanup of my yard and did a fantastic job. The landscape looks tidy and well-groomed as we head into winter - I am very pleased. This is no surprise though because the crew has consistently provided exceptional service in maintaining my property.
