Landon, William and Kevin spent a day taking down a tree and trimming two. They were professional but friendly. They answered all my questions and gave me some advice on other plants and trees in my yard. Above all, they operated in safe manner with respect for my property and my person.

Herbert of American Arborists did a great job with the many trees in my backyard. He had great recommendations about how to trim them to protect my fence. He also suggested ways to keep the aphids away and help them flourish in the spring. Herbert was knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely use American Arborists in the future.

Scott, Ryley, and Joseph did an outstanding job completing the work the arborist/estimator had recommended. Scott verified the scope of work before beginning. They worked quickly, but carefully, and cleaned everything up afterward thoroughly. Very professional!

I saw a lot of good reviews for this company before I called them. Not sure what the disconnect is, but i certainly didn't get anything remotely like good service. I called the office and explained my situation: 1.5 acres, 100+ trees. Property was very distressed 5 years ago. With guidance we have nursed it all into a better state, but we need more expertise now. I've got a Russian Olive trunk leaning over my house with wind damage, I've got three fruit trees with mysterious bark damage. I need guidance on future pruning plans for various trees that were planted too densely. Also, I'm in the market for a few more trees. They seemed nice on the phone and gave me an appointment for a couple of weeks out. Worried about that olive, but all seemed well.

Until the morning of the appointment, which I had arranged to be home for. A guy named Steven E. leaves a voice message asking for me to instead send him "pictures of all my concerns" because he has a doctor's appointment and doesn't want to drive out to Fernley. He would assesses them, he said, and send me a proposal.
Ok, irritating, but I'll give someone the benefit of doubt. Life is complex and things happen. So I text him 9 photographs, with explanations of my various worries.

His response left a lot to be desired. The Olive tree that lost half its yoke last winter? "strong growing upwards". The apple tree with the withered limbs and broken bark? "looks ok". Mysterious bark damage on peaches? No response. The pears with throttling on the base of the trunks? No response. Pruning advice for trees crowding each other out for space? Nada.
His master advice: keep watering and prune in the fall. Thank you, captain obvious.
Monday after this post will be 3 weeks since our appt. Assessment? No. Proposal? No. Real advice? No. His "strong growing up" tree fell down the rest of the way yesterday. A month after I identified the issue. On my house, too. No major damage i can see, luckily.

I don't know what went wrong with this company. I saw a lot of stars. Searching the low star reviews today, I see a comment that the company recently changed hands. Maybe that explains it. Or maybe they already have all the customers they want. Certainly I'm not one.
I'll tell you this: from my experience, if you want lackluster, indifferent advice for the green space you've been nurturing back to health, these people are there for you. Maybe. If it's not too much trouble and they don't forget.
I've already told all my local friends, which is plenty, to avoid this company but figured I'd try to help some strangers out as well. Good luck.

Landon, William and Crysti showed up on time. Quickly assessed the tree and what needed to be done, and asked for my input for what specifically I wanted done. The tree looked fantastic when they completed the job. The property was thoroughly cleaned up. The entire crew was helpful, friendly, and respectful. American Arborists once again exceeded my expectations.

Jesse, Cristi and William were very professional and friendly. They were amazing at cutting and clearing the debris efficiently. At the end of the the job my huge pine trees ( 23 of them) and my yard looked better than I imagined.

Landon, Red & Jesse showed up on time. We discussed what my wife wanted done to the tree. The guys got to work. We went over how the tree trimming was going. They put the cut branches in a pile for me. The wife and I liked the look of the tree.
Quinton stopped by to go over the health of the Cherry tree. He treated the tree and set us up for the next treatment.

The service was very professional and I appreciated that there was no hesitation when I requested additional pruning of branches overhanging the neighbor’s yard. Landon, William, and Kevin did a great job and left the site cleaner than when they arrived.

Skylar Crew 1 was at my home and I couldn’t be happier! From the walk through before they even started to trim to the above and beyond clean up they did after an amazing job of trimming, Skylar Crew 1 was exceptional! Wish I could give more than 5 stars, they deserve it! Thank you!

Very pleased with the job Jesse and Joseph completed for me. They pruned and thinned out several trees. My yard looks a lot better, no longer overgrown. They also cleaned up very nicely after themselves. I would strongly recommend American Arborists for any tree services!

After getting numerous quotes, I decided to use American Arborists to trim and prune all the trees on my property. Herbert came out to give me an estimate. I really appreciated his knowledge. I am very happy with the work that Jeff and Crysti did. They went over each tree with me before and then after the work to make sure I was happy. I will be using this company for any future tree work.

Landon and Crysti came over to prune my large tree in my backyard yard. They did an excellent job. My tree looks really nice. I would highly recommend them along with American Arborists.

Arborist Herbert came out to evaluate our trees and was great! He answered all of our questions, gave us tips to care for our trees and recommended services. Riley and Jeff came out to trim two trees away from our house and they we very friendly and professional, and left the yard so clean we couldn’t even tell they were there. Finally, Quentin came out to apply a treatment to some of our trees and was also very helpful and professional. We will definitely continue to use American Arborists and would highly recommend them.

The young men, Landon, William and Riley, that came on Oct. 7th were fantastic. They knew what had to be done, surveyed the area, took safety precautions and got the job done. They were very efficient and took care of clean-up as they worked. Would highly recommend American Aborists.

I couldn't say enough good things about this company and all of the crew that came out to work on a massive tree removal for several houses around me. It was done so professionally, they worked hard and fast, no damage, they cleaned up afterwards and they were very polite. I couldn't recommend them any higher and would 100% use them again without a dout.

Crew One did an excellent job. They removed a large tree and trimmed one up that badly needed it. They did some contracted small jobs. They were on time and did the work in an efficient manor. Very nice men. I appreciate them and you will, too, if you hire them.

Cristi and Jesse were absolutely Top notch!
They busted there ass all day! I would recommend a pay raise for these two great employees of ur company!! I have 11 cottonwood trees that will come down in the spring! I want those two back to do the work!

Jeff and Riley arrived right on time, and worked extremely fast and efficient. They took great care of my house and my neighbor’s house while taking down the tree. They also carefully removed my flag and rolled it up to keep it safe. Great work!
