I highly recommend this company. VERY PROFESSIONAL and excellent at what they do. My trees were a mess after winter. Scott was amazing.

Scott knows what he's doing and does it efficiently. He is a pleasure to deal with. He pruned my crabapple tree and 50 year old lilac beautifully and now he has treated my London plane tree for scale and my birch for the borer beetle.

The service was awesome - from the response time to staying in communication. The work performed was also great. We have a large American Elm that is probably 70 years old and never had any attention. Scott was able to assess issues with the tree and recommend care options. He was fast and thorough and I would highly recommend his work!

Summary Review:
Scott is a high-character individual, responsive, professional, socially conscious, fair-priced, and skilled in his trade. I wouldn’t hesitate to call him again or refer him to my friends and family. I am very pleased with the work he did on our large elm tree removal.
Detailed Review:
Initial Contact: I found Scott/Aspect Tree Care through a posting on Nextdoor from another neighbor asking for tree removal referrals. I looked him up and contacted him through his website. I received an email response from Scott a few hours later and he came by the next morning to look at my tree and give a free estimate of work.
Quote: Scott showed up at my house on time and was wearing a mask (he wore a mask at every interaction). He looked at my 40 foot elm tree and was careful to look at it from every angle and provided a quote for tree removal, clean up, haul away, and stump grinding. He let me ask all the questions I wanted. He left and later that day emailed me the formal quote. This was on a Wednesday.
Decision: I had already had a few other quotes on the tree removal, from larger companies, and they wanted to use large equipment (cranes, bucket truck, etc.), which correlates to a higher cost. Scott doesn’t use any large equipment – he is an avid rock climber and understands angles, leverage, and physics, and uses them to his advantage – which allows him to keep his costs down and still provide a professional service. We felt Scott’s quote was fair and reasonable, so we accepted his offer. He gave us his quote on Wednesday and was able to begin working the following Monday.
Tree Removal: Scott ordered a large dumpster to be delivered, which was on time and placed correctly. Scot began working first thing in the morning and worked until the sun started going down (around 4:30 in the onset of winter). The removal process ended up taking a little bit longer than he had originally estimated, but he kept in frequent communication and gave regular updates, so it wasn’t a problem for us. (It was a LARGE tree that hung over the neighbor’s yard with another smaller tree under it, so I don’t blame him). Scott is obviously experienced in his trade and watching him cut down the tree was seriously mesmerizing – no large equipment, just a chain saw, ropes, pulleys, and gravity.
Clean Up: Scott and his team made sure the yard was completely cleaned up. All that was left were the fresh wood chips from the stump grinding – which Scott offered to leave for us to use as mulch in our garden.
Character: Scott was professional throughout the entire process. I really appreciated that he wore a mask at every interaction. Although I’m young and healthy, it was a small gesture that obviously had a big impact on me and that shows his awareness. In addition, we had two small trees next to the large elm tree that I was already in the process of removing and could have done so on my own, but Scott offered to remove them at no additional charge. Lastly, in the process of removing the tree, a small softball-sized chunk of wood fell onto the neighbor’s shed and ripped a hole in the roof paneling. Unbeknownst to Scott, I witnessed this. He could have left it and acted like he didn’t know that it had happened, but he went and knocked on the neighbor’s door and told him what happened and offered to pay for a replacement roof panel. He also patched the hole until the panel could be installed. Its examples like these that define someone’s character.
Conclusion: All in all, our experience with Scott from Aspect Tree Care was terrific. If I had to come up with a “negative”, I guess it would have to be that it took longer than he originally estimated. But the fact that we weren’t on a time crunch to get it removed, and also that he communicated with us throughout the process, it really wasn’t a “negative” for us. We likely won’t need any more trees removed, but if any friends or family ever need any tree work done, Scott will be at the top of the list of referrals. -
Scott of Aspect Tree Care did a phenomenal job with our trees. We purchased our property quite recently, and the 4 trees on our property had not been trimmed, touched, or even looked at in 10 years, and it showed. They were becoming a liability as the branches were so heavy, we got lucky in this year's windstorm, but probably not for the next one.
Scott came to assess our trees on a Tuesday, and was able to get us an appointment for the following Thursday. He gave us a detailed estimate outlining everything he would need to do so we could decide whether to go forward with his services. I had a lot of questions, and he patiently and thoroughly answered each one and explained why he would need to do what he had said he would do on the estimate sheet so I was not in the dark.
He arrived bright and early and took his time with each tree to make sure the job was done properly. He took about 1 and a half days to complete the job, 2/4 trees were growing into our fence so they needed some finagling. He cleaned up all the branches and debris thoroughly, and he was even really thoughtful around my nosy dogs! He sent me a follow-up email with some notes on the work he'd done and further recommendations.
Scott is a real professional, and the quality of his work speaks for itself. -
Scott and his wife didn’t excellent work with our trees. Scott walked us through any concerns and what he proposed, took good care of the trees, and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. Will use again and definitely recommend.

Scott came to do some tree work at our home. He was able to fell and buck massive rounds and moved faster than most crews I’ve seen. Scott was on time and professional and had very reasonable rates. I would use Aspect Tree Care in the future for any future tree work needs.

Scott examined my struggling Mulberry Tree before conducting deep root aeration, soil improvement with organic compost and a protective layer of wood chip mulch. The tree looks much healthier.

Scott did a great job removing 5 aspens and 2 flowering plum trees for me. He provided a quote the same day I called and removed the trees the following week. He did a great job with cleaning up the debris and his pricing was very reasonable. I would happily recommend him to others and use him again myself.

Scott contacted me the same day that I reached out to him. He came to look as my tree issues the next day and completed the work the next day. He was very prompt, courteous and did an excellent job of trimming my trees and cleaned up the debris afterward. I highly recommend this tree service.

Scott Skinner of ASPECT TREE CARE came to my house to take care of my beautiful large Austrian Pine Tree in my front yard. Scott removed dead branches, mounds of pine needles, and cross branches. He was very careful to only remove the necessary branches for better tree health and to enhance beauty. My tree had large unsightly pitch masses all over the tree, caused by Sequoia Pitch Moth. Scott drilled and injected the tree to remove and and eliminate the pitch moth. Scott also spent time with me on how to care for my tree with proper irrigation, and a mulch covered buffer zone around the tree so tree roots can take up water and air. All cut branches and debris were shredded and off-hauled and cleaned better than when he arrived. All this done for hundreds of dollars less than all other tree companies.....very economical.

I was very happy with Scott's work. Not only was his quote much, much lower than anyone else who came by because he was able to do it without renting a crane, but he was also careful and thorough. He removed a large cottonwood tree and a medium-sized willow tree from my backyard. They were both in a tricky spot, abutting the neighbor's fence, but that posed no problem to him. I will be reaching out to him again in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone else looking for tree work to be done.

Scott did a great job. I sent request for quote and got answer same day. Scott came out to location 2 days later and we agreed on the scope of work and cost. The following week he did the work and even a little extra. I think we all have had experiences doing projects that can be frustrating due to companies that do not reply back, never call back or take to long, or don't do what they agee to do. Aspect Tree Care is the exact opposite. Timely, courteous, Professional and most importantly, true bussiness integrity.

Scott and his team did a great job. He came out quickly and gave us a reasonable quote to remove our dead tree, and was able to squeeze in the tree removal the next day. They were even able to protect the new sapling growing nearby. I'd absolutely hire them again!

We couldn't have been happier with Aspect Tree Care, Scott is incredibly helpful and the most knowledgable person I've ever spoken with when it comes to trees and tree care! Not only did he help diagnose the problem with what killed a tree we needed removed (it was bark beetles) but he had a plethora of advice on how to keep the rest of the trees in our yard healthy along with replacement options if needed. We'll definitely be using his services again when it comes to tree care or planting new ones the right way.

If I could give a 10 to Aspect Tree Care I would. Not only are they prompt in returning calls, the work was completed in one day from receiving/approving the bid, and was professional and the clean-up was thorough. Scott, the owner, is one of only two Master Arborists in N Nevada and he made some great suggestions during the site review. In addition to the excellent, professional job, the cost was extremely reasonable, much less than competing services. (In fact, the cost was so low that I added a significant tip on top of the bid price.) I cannot say enough about the overall experience with Aspect Tree Care; you do not need to look further should you need their services.

Scott and a helper came out to remove a few trees and bushes along with some tree pruning. They did such a great job. They were great at returning calls and texts messages and showed up on time for the bid and the work. They were very professional and cleaned up after they were done. I highly recommend them for any tree service.

We’ve had a few different companies come to trim our big 80 year old maples over the last few years.
Scott and the Aspect crew were by far the most knowledgeable and most professional.
Scott diagnosed one of huge trees with a fungus and recommended we cut her down. This was an amazing process that took place over a couple of days. The guys were so professional and so respectful of the yard and space. We could see where the trunk was infected, confirming the diagnosis. Scott took the time to explain everything. His knowledge is unparalleled. I would HIGHLY recommend him for all of your tree needs! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ -
Scott is truly deserving of the title of Master Arborist. Not only is he knowledgable and professional, but he actually cares about the work. When we bought our house we had a significant number of dead and distressed trees and we have been dealing with it a bit at a time each year using a couple of different services, I only wish we had found Aspect sooner. Scott's knowledge saved multiple trees on our property, saved us money and provided insight into what we should be doing to care for our yard moving forward. Aspect is the only tree service we will be using in Northern Nevada.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Scott Sinner from Aspect Tree Care, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
Scott came out to assess the health of our beloved but sadly dying Willow tree. His knowledge and professionalism were immediately apparent. He took the time to thoroughly explain the condition of the tree and helped us understand our options, ultimately guiding us to make the right decision. We never felt rushed or pressured—just supported by a true expert.
Beyond the Willow, Scott generously offered his insights on our other trees, giving us invaluable advice on how to help them thrive in our challenging desert climate. His passion for trees and deep understanding of arboriculture really stood out.
Once we scheduled the removal, Scott showed up promptly and got to work. Watching him in action—climbing gear on, working mostly with an electric saw—was impressive. He and his crew were incredibly efficient yet meticulous, carefully staking the pieces we wanted to keep and chipping the rest. When the job was done, our property looked immaculate. You would never guess a large tree had just been removed.
It’s rare to find someone so skilled, reliable, and respectful of both your time and your space. Working with Scott and Aspect Tree Care was an incredible experience from beginning to end. If you’re looking for expert tree care with a personal, thoughtful touch—look no further. Highly, highly recommend! -
