I called and Nick came out the same day and returned the following to start on the work. His crew is very focused on their work and polite. Overall it was a positive experience.

I am very picky about how my trees are pruned and so I do as much as I can myself. I am appalled at how untrustworthy, expensive and unskilled most arborists are. Nick and his crew are a breath of fresh air. They are all friendly, communicative and polite and capable! They treated two rows of arborvitae that were being attacked by beetles and they took out the dead parts. They started the thinning of another row of arborvitae that were over-grown and expertly pruned and shaped two maples that getting into the overhead wires. They cleaned up the crown of a tall locust tree and treated an ailing Japanese Lilac. Nick even set me up so that I could finish the treatment of the infested trees.
They are responsive, prompt, hard working and efficient with time - AND their prices are reasonable. I can't recommend them more highly.
Update: Second visit proved that Nick is not certified as he claims on his website, using a spray known to not kill borers on an affected tree will not prevent the tree from dying and he is reluctant to remove unsightly vertical suckers from trees despite requests to do so. I think I've been scammed.

Grizzly Tree Co. came to trim and prune two gigantic trees in my backyard and went above and beyond to get the tough job done. I was thoroughly impressed with the service and skill. The cleanup afterwards was far superior to what I had expected, and my backyard looks phenomenal. I would highly recommend Nick and his crew! Very professional, knowledgeable, timely, and reasonably priced.

I had contacted Nick as I was speaking to a different service provider at the time, they said I needed to spray my trees for pests, ASAP. I had gotten a business card from one of the Grizzly Tree Co guys a couple weeks ago, naturally I called them up to see if they could help me.

They came out, did much needed trimming of the tree in my front yard, and it was infested and diseased. Nick worked with us to get us to a price point we were okay with and fully discussed the scope of work we were looking for.

Nick came out, was able to provide us a quote that day and had a statement of work written up for us. It made it easy to discuss options and pricing.

The crew came out and were very polite and respectful of the property. Everything was cleaned up after they left. Very happy with the service and will definitely be contacting them again for our future tree needs.

We are aware there were some issues involving a neighbor that resulted in a negative review, and we hope that does not reflect poorly on their quality of work or impact their business. Our experience was very positive, and we would gladly recommend them.

Nick is extremely professional and we would recommend him and his company to anyone. We reached out on a Thursday, he gave us a reasonable quote by Friday, and was at our house to remove multiple trees the following Monday. Another company told us it would be a week-long project but Nick and his crew had it done in 3 days. They removed 14 trees and all of the stumps with minimal disruption to the neighborhood and cleaned up everything when they left each day. They were punctual and Nick was on-sight and responsive throughout the project. They also gave us the option to keep the logs, which I appreciate.
