ohana tree bros provide exemplary service and quick turnaround. we were able to get a quote and get scheduled all within one week. they did an excellent job removing a huge elm tree from our backyard in Sparks. very communicative and thorough with the work. they went above and beyond to repair a fence that had to be removed in the course of their work. highly recommend!

CUSTOMER BEWARE: The absolute WORST service we have ever received. After sending a crew of two at a premium hourly rate, the owners never showed up to manage their employees who spent most of the time on their phones, talking or "fixing" equipment. We had to text them directly to get back to work at which time we were assured that they would be discounting the hourly price.

The real issue began when we received the bill. We were sent an invoice that included an unusually high credit card service fee of $30. We paid this within 24 hours. We then received a second bill several days later while on vacation that was marked as "overdue" (even though we had not previously received it) with another credit card service fee of $40 and inaccurate charges based on our conversation. Upon reviewing it with the owner Bonnie, she agreed to remove $300 from the bill but never sent an updated invoice to pay. The other owner Chaz called us today to berate and demand payment immediately, using foul language and threats of collections at which time we explained we still had not received the updated bill, nor had we ever been given a contract or estimate to being with. When we told hime we'd be sharing our experience, he told us he "didn't care about reviews and that they didn't matter".

We have never received this type of treatment or harassment from a company and hope our experience can send other customers elsewhere.

Ohana Tree Bros has always been a pleasure to work with. Their team is responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. We had them remove a few trees a while ago and the work was done quickly and priced fairly. Since then they have gone above and beyond with helping us source woodchips and logs for various landscaping projects. Highly recommend.

Ohana Tree Bros is the BEST!! We have used them in the past for our regular tree care and issues. But when the Nevada high winds took out a large tree in our yard, falling onto our neighbor's driveway I knew who to reach out to immediately. Bonnie, Chaz and team where on it, not only did they immediately respond to our emergency need. They did an amazing job as always, leaving the place spot less. They are professional from start to finish. Thank you.

Ohana Tree Bros came out to our property and cleaned out 8 maple trees as well as removed 2 pines. They did an excellent job! I highly recommend this company! They are polite and courteous.

Grace is the best. She does a great job every time she comes to my property. They had two crews of guys come out to try to remove my tree and both crew said they couldn’t do it without a grinder. She came out and had that thing out of the ground in an hour. I would recommend her to anybody. she does a great job, maintaining my property as well biweekly.

Ohana Tree Bros is a company I would recommend for any of your tree care needs. They were quick to respond, get me numbers, and complete the job. I am looking forward to working with them again in the future!

They did a great job on my tree. They went above and beyond and very reasonably priced. They took out all the dead branches and cleaned up the space really good afterwards.
Their communication isn’t the greatest but the good definitely outweighed the bad.

Beware of Hiring Ohana Tree Bros — Poor Workmanship and Zero Accountability

I’m writing this review to caution anyone considering hiring Ohana Tree Bros for tree trimming or removal work. Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

While their crew was working on a neighbor’s property behind my home, they failed to properly secure the debris they were cutting. As a result, heavy branches rolled downhill and damaged my fence. When I approached the crew about it, they brushed it off and told the homeowner that he would be responsible for the damages — even though their own negligence caused the issue.

They gave me a business card and told me to call someone from their company. When I did, the tone of the conversation made it seem like the problem was mine to deal with, not theirs. Eventually, someone came out to “repair” the damage, but all they did was put a couple of nails into the broken section. Within a short time, the fence collapsed again.

I’ve since reached out to the owner multiple times to have the situation properly addressed, but she has repeatedly ignored my messages and refused to come out to inspect the damage.

This entire experience shows a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and quality workmanship. If you’re looking for a reliable, responsible, and reputable tree service, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Hiring Ohana Tree Bros may leave you with poor results — and possibly with damages they refuse to take responsibility for.

Update to my review,
I was recently contacted by the company regarding the damage caused to my property. I was initially told that someone would be sent out to make the necessary repairs. However, I later received a message stating that they would only send someone from a fencing company if I removed my review. I find that completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I would have gladly taken down my review had the company simply done the right thing and addressed the issue from the start. I’ve informed them that I will be handling the repairs myself, but I will not be removing this review, as it accurately reflects the type of experience you may receive from this company.

As you can see from the company’s response, my point is made. I never stated that the entire fence needed to be replaced nor that I hired them — only that they should fix the section that their crew damaged. The damage did not occur from debris “accidentally” rolling down; multiple pieces rolled down because the debris was not properly secured. This clearly shows a lack of care and responsibility.

I gave the company plenty of time about a week to respond before posting my review, and I received no action or resolution. Based on my experience, this is not a company I would ever hire or recommend to anyone else.

Wonderful experience. Big crew took care of six large trees including removing two of them. They were fast, reasonably priced and left the yard cleaner than it was. Highly recommend them.

My husband and I have had Ohana tree bros come out for three separate projects and they’ve been so wonderful each time! Not only have they done great jobs on the actual trees themselves but they’ve gone out of their way to do more than expected. They’re very efficient with their time and have always been kind and professional in communication and their pricing is super reasonable. We will continue to reach out for future services as they’ve totally earned our permanent business! :)

Ohana came to trim dead wood out of our trees in Incline Village. Mark and his crew were very respectful and polite. They did a great job and were conscientious about their work. They cleaned up better than what was there when they arrived. I found their price to be very reasonable as another bid was much higher. I definitely recommend this company based on my experience. Ohana Tree Bros just trimmed 5 trees for us. The experience was a 10 out of 10. Chas (owner) made and kept an appointment for a quote, produced a written proposal with photos right away. The price was very reasonable. We received a phone call to schedule the work date and a crew, led by Mark showed up on time.
The work was done to our satisfaction and they left the place clean and tidy.
We will use them in the future for all of our tree trimming needs. A +

They are very conscientious and focused on providing you with all services requested and they are ultra-professional and will exceed your expectations! I had some big jobs that needed to be done from tree trimming to overall cut downs along with yard cleanup that required some serious attention. Their army of personnel stepped in and worked non-stop until every last item was completed. the guys do such good work. Removed a willow with lots of roses and daylilies around. Not one leaf ruffled.
There was a lot of wood and they cut it in usable pieces and then stacked it all. They worked hard and precise. Thank you, guys!
