$480 to replace a $10 bath sink angle valve. It was Saturday. I expected a surcharge, but $470 an hour. Ridiculous

I called this business yesterday. The man I spoke to claimed that he would be out between 10 AM and Noon today. They did not call or come. I called. This supposed 24 Hour Business was on a message machine.

We are so pleased with Bill and the experience as a whole. Having someone who respects our time and can communicate in a very professional way is so refreshing! Super happy we chose Alpha Omega!

Called about a problem I'm having getting heat to different bedrooms in my house. Bill was very helpful on the phone and we scheduled a time for the following week for someone to come give me an estimate on repair.

I requested time off from work in order to meet them at my home and looked forward to getting heat to my kids bedroom. Well, the appointment time came and went, nobody showed, nobody called. Big waste of time and now back to square one. I guess I'll be calling someone else.

Great company to deal with. Scheduling was easy, they showed up on time, and were highly knowledgable. The technician, Rodney, was super helpful, polite, and did a great job explaining to me in simple terms the simple solution to my gas line problem (that another "water plumber" couldn't fix the first time). He also went the extra mile to help me communicate with the fireplace company so I would be back in business with getting my fireplace fixed. I would highly recommend this company and their technician Rodney. 5 stars for sure.

Wonderful company to work with. Bill has helped me through every step of the process to install our gas line for my new glass studio. He went above and beyond in so many ways, their work is affordable, are polite and on top of everything no matter what issue came up. The guys did one heck of a job thank you Bill and team we will be hiring you again in the near future when we expand our company!

I was so happy that I called Mr Rooter, They were able to come the same day, able to help me with my issue, help me identifiy the issue and gave me a options to get it fixed. I will be telling everyone about the great $95 drain special they have even on a weekend.

WARNING: If you value your sanity and hard earned money, PLEASE read this review carefully and thoughtfully and learn a lesson from our bad experience. We were in a vulnerable situation and needed help. According to their word, Mr. Rooter (a nationwide company) was properly equipped and licensed to complete our sewer line repair job (which included excavating on public property) in accordance with City of Reno requirements. As it turned out (per the Public Works Department) they lack the proper classification to encroach upon public property which prevented them from getting the proper permit. In fact, the City record indicates that they did not even try to get a permit but they proceeded with the job anyway. They no doubt knew from the start that they should not have bid this job. A portion was fixed but a substantial amount of work involving city property remains unpermitted and incomplete. We truly regret inviting this unscrupulous company onto our property. They overpromised and underdelivered by miles.

We are truly baffled as to why this company felt justified in inflicting their shady business practices upon us. What an incredible waste of time and effort to be so dishonest and deceitful. Why not instead do things the right way? Do what you say you’re going to do. Do it legally. Be proud of your good work. Be concerned about living up to a good reputation. Not so with Mr. Rooter. At least not in our case. We are honest and decent people that do not deserve such mistreatment. And our community (every community) deserves better.

We have tried so many times to get competent plumbers in Reno that did not cost a fortune. Mostly what we got were expensive, flaky guys who actually took shortcuts and caused even greater expense down the road.
Then we found Dave Thiel - not sure how we got so lucky, but this guy is a MASTER plumber and his prices are great! He believes in being fair and reasonable with his customers and has been in business for decades.
He solved problems NO OTHER PLUMBERS IN TOWN could solve for us.

In a word - AWESOME!!!!!!

He is really busy, it is true, but if you are lucky enough to get on his schedule you will be a very happy camper. For sure.

We also bought a Multipure Water Filter from him. Works great!
