Amazing bathroom renovation. Charlie communicates well. His team was always on time. They were professional, picked up clutter each day and the quality of the work was outstanding. The tile work we needed done was a bit complex and they do an incredible job.

We had a bathroom remodel done by Charlie and had several major issues. The plumbing on the tub was not installed correctly which caused water damage to our kitchen ceiling the first time we used it. Charlie did "repair" it but it was poorly done. I ended up withholding the last payment of $400 to put towards hiring another contractor to repair correctly. The $400 did not cover the cost of the repair and the full ceiling repaint that was required. The tub that was installed squeaked since day one and has not been properly fixed. To have the tub re-installed correctly is would cost around $2,000-$2500 based on two quotes I got. Charlie's solution was to cut a whole in the bedroom closet wall to shim the tub. With all the issues we had I told him I would rather have some else repair it. He said he could fix it for free or give me $200 towards fixing it. The tub still squeaks two years later every time we use it. Almost 1.5 years after the bathroom remodel we found poor electrical wiring in the attic for the bathroom vent. Charlie did apologize and paid to have Custom Electric come and install it correctly. I am just glad we found the issue before it caused any damage. I went with Charlie and Granite State General Contractors based on all the great reviews and ended up with a lot of issues so please take this into consideration when making your decision.

Charlie and his team finished our basement and we couldn’t be happier with their work. They spent a minimum of 8 hours here every weekday until the project was done. They took care of handling everything from the construction, doors, heat, ac, electric to even buying paint and painting the walls for us. We just had to pick a wall color and call a company to install carpet, that’s it! The people who installed the carpet marked up the walls and Charlie came back and took care of touching up everything that was dinged or marked. Charlie was very easy to get in touch with and would respond quickly to any ideas or questions we had. It was such a smooth, easy process and we highly recommend them to everyone!

We had Charlie and his team at Granite State General Contractors do our recent basement renovation. From the initial visit to gather information to the final visit to apply the finishing touches we had nothing but good experiences. Charlie is very knowledgeable, addressed all of our concerns, and suggested changes that we hadn’t thought of that really add to the final product. He and his crew were all very friendly and very accommodating, always answering questions and requests with a smile. At the end of each work day they always left the work area as clean as possible to minimize the construction impact. We would definitely use Charlie for future projects and would recommend him wholeheartedly!

We hired Granite State General Contractors to finish our basement, they were recommended to us through a friend. When getting our quote from Charlie, he was head and shoulders above others. He had great design ideas and input on how to best maximize our space. Great price too! During the project Charlie was open and honest with us, explaining the steps in the process and what he was doing each day. At the end of each day he left the work site clean and tidy. The finished project came out great. I especially appreciate his attention to detail and willingness to make changes based on our input. I highly recommend Granite State General Contractors.
