We had 3 big trees and few smaller ones come down in a micro burst of wind over night. I called early,7am the next morning, hoping to get help. Doug answered, came right out, said he would be back in 1 hour with state of the art equipment, his crew and be done in 1.5 hours. Doug delivered on all fronts! I highly recommend Doug’s Tree Service to anyone who needs tree work done.

This review of Doug's Tree Service is for its firewood. It's a year late but it definitely warrants it. Had firewood delivered and the quality was absolutely horrible and that is being nice!!!. They claim it's tumbled to get rid of debris etc. Doug is this clean seasoned firewood??? I'm still brushing off dirt of each piece before putting it into my woodstove! Pics say everything..

The bigger question should be, why would a load of firewood in this condition be delivered on the first place.

Large white pine came down during Memorial day weekend.

Doug's Tree service is awesome! I bought 1.5 cord of green firewood- great discount for green wood vs seasoned- if you can skip a season to let it season on it's own. Doug is not stingy with the quantity- I actually called him to make sure he didn't deliver too much! He laughed and said, nope, he just rounded up a bit. Anyway, highly recommend Doug and his guys for all your tree work and firewood needs!

We were very pleased with the service we received from Doug's Tree Service. Doug was responsive and a pleasure to work with in securing an estimate, and the crew (led by Brian) was extremely professional and efficient. Allowing for some weather-related delays, they were here when they said they'd be here, tackled some rather large and tricky trees (that some other professionals took a pass on upon seeing them), and cleaned up nicely before departing. We would not hesitate to hire them again, especially for another large, tricky job!

Very responsive company. Doug came right out to give us a quote and after getting a fair cost estimate, we went with his company. It was very challenging to get some large fallen pines removed Because of the topography of our land and where the house is situated. A big team of professional professionals arrived, including a huge crane and they work from 7:30 in the morning till 730 at night. Very professional guys. Doug’s son Steve is particularly adept at managing the huge crane.
They even came back the next day to finish sweeping up log debris. Highly recommend!

They just came by this morning to prune back a tree in our front yard that was growing into the wires and over outdoor our hot tub enclosure.

Thank you CT Tree Service. They were taking out trees in our neighbors yard on eclipse day and they were considerate enough to wait until the eclipse was over to work on the trees. Allowed for a peaceful solar eclipse.

CT Tree Service came out and removed two huge black walnut trees from my property. Connor and his team did great work for a great price. This included removing unwanted wood and debris while segmenting and neatly stacking all of the wood I wanted to keep. This was no easy task and to top it off they left my yard nice and clean! I cannot recommend Connor and CT Tree Service enough.

C.T. Tree service removed several trees in and around my yard. It’s pretty tight quarters around here and they did an amazing job. Thoroughly cleaned up when finished. I will definitely hire them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have trees pruned or taken down.

Connor and his team did a great job removing eight large trees from my property. They had to maneuver around electrical wires, shrubs and stockade fencing. I asked them to leave several large limbs for me to cut for firewood, and they stacked them tidily in the back. My neighbor was so impressed with their skill & professionalism that he asked them to take down an enormous pine from his yard, which they did on the spot (after finishing my job, of course). This company has a real asset in Connor. I got five estimates for my job, and he was no-pressure, thorough and patient with all my questions and wish-list options. They all deserved the homemade chocolate chip cookies I made for them 😉.

Over the past 25 years my husband and I have hired various contractors, some were ok, a few were great. I can now say I wish all of them had been as professional, friendly and hardworking as the gentleman that came to our home. Not only was safety extremely important but they communicated what they were doing and how they were doing it.

What was very impressive to me was it was obvious each one LOVED what he was doing.

My only problem? Every contractor I hire now will have to measure up to the C.T. TREE crew!

Nate and his team did an amazing job quickly and efficiently removing my tree and grinding the stump. It was hard to see all of the stump once he started grinding because it was so large, and he assured me he would return if I found remaining stump/roots that I needed removed as I had mentioned at the beginning of the project. Sure enough, once I dug out the wood chips there was some stump remaining and he returned the next day! He called me back immediately and was very helpful to ensure the job was fully taken care of. I highly recommend this company! Great job!

I would highly recommend CT Tree Service! They removed 20 of our trees (5 of them very large oaks and maples) from a difficult to reach location. They were extremely professional from the start, sending a written estimate along with their proof of insurance. Their price could not be beat and they were meticulous about cleaning up our yard once they were done. I have used other tree removal companies before and will only call CT Tree Service from now on.

Had some small work done, but the team did a great job! The owner was really nice and helpful during the quoting process. Property was treated nicely and the lead on the job was very nice and respectful. Will be calling them for future work!
