We had Ken and his guys out to install a GFI outlet in our bedroom. Given our house's age, there was a problem that they had to track down with how things were wired when the house was built. They professionally installed the outlet and another that was bad, and didn't charge any additional fee, even though they were here longer than they expected. This was our 6th job from Ken and we can't say enough about the job he does. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any electrical jobs in South Jersey.

I hired Ken after other electricians sucked their teeth and over priced. Ken gave us honest appraisal and very fair pricing. He has since rewired two houses for us. Don't believe the negative reviews the service and support is excellent!

I had what I thought was an electrical issue with the wiring in my newly-remodeled kitchen. I am always impressed when a voicemail is answered and service is dispatched, even for this non-emergent problem. Everything checked out from a professional viewpoint; it might have been user error (mine!) but Vincent was very thorough in ruling out the wiring or breakers. Bonus? He didn't charge me! I will definitely use this company again! THANK YOU!!

Ken and his crew did a great job installing an ev car charger and a new outlet with dedicated breaker at our home. He was right on time for both the estimate and work, which was done correctly with professionalism and respect. They cleaned up nicely afterwards and made sure to check with me along every step where they needed to. I've found my go-to electrician. Thanks guys!

Ken's team replaced the outside cable and electric box, grounded the water heater. It was a big job, but his team arrived on time and were very efficient. They adhere to Covid measures. They were very courteous and professional. Pricing was very reasonable. We will be using them again for projects in our 100 year old house!

I called for a repair on a Monday morning. Ken returned my call within an hour and provided same day service. Ken and his team, Mike especially, provided service that was prompt, courteous, professional, clean and provided my minor repair with the same integrity a larger job would require. I WILL be using Ken and his team for future electrical needs.

Ken, Vince and Austin at Sturtevant Electric recently came to my aid. I had another electrician install a level-2 car charger incorrectly. I was having issues w/ the breaker constantly popping and the original electrician was perplexed as to what was going wrong. I called Sturtevant Electric as a hail-mary pass and to get a second opinion on the issue and boy was I glad I did!

It took them all of five minutes to diagnose the issue. Long story short the previous electrician used the wrong wiring and they had to re-do the whole thing for me. Thankfully their pricing was more than competitive and they even cleaned up the outlet and made it look drastically more streamlined and professional to boot. I was so impressed I had them do some more work by installing an outlet in my backyard that I have been putting off. Can’t recommend them enough! Give them a call, you won’t be disappointed.

I love these folks. They came and I explained what I wanted to have done...install 3 sunken lights in the ceiling across the room from where I already had 3 lights.
They came and updated the original lights, perfectly aligned them, and 2 separate switches! Perfect..no holes in wall , no painting required!! Great work!! Ask for Vincent!

Beyond happy with my experience! Hired Ken Sturtevant Electric to remove k&t and rewire my lights and outlets. As a first time homeowner this project caused me a LOT of anxiety. I was worried it was going to be a drawn out process that would cost a lot of money and leave holes throughout my freshly painted walls and ceilings. Vince came over same day to give an estimate. They had the project done in THREE days! Super responsive, professional, and neat. Always left the place clean after each work day and went out of their way to make sure there was minimal, inconspicuous damage to the ceiling. I will definitely be hiring again for future projects and would recommend this business to anyone in the south NJ area.

Ken and his family do excellent work at a reasonable price. They are quick, prompt, and honest. I would definitely recommend them for any project you want done the right way the first time.

Late review, but I had them run a new panel to my detached garage. They were very quick and did an amazing job. Also the most affordable I found after many quotes and headaches with other contractors. Vince and Mike were great throughout the process. Highly recommend

I highly recommend their services. The team showed up on time, communicated clearly throughout the process, and delivered efficient, high-quality work. They are professional and reliable. Any time I need electrical services, they are who I will be calling. Among a few other things, they installed recessed lighting, added in an outlet behind a TV, hung a chandelier (hiding the wires - previous chandelier had wires visible outside the wall) and the results were more impressive than anticipated. They have a lifetime customer.

Had an EV Charger put in by Vince and Ryan from Ken Sturtevant Electric. Work was priced better than any other quote I got, they managed to mount the charger on a cruddy stucco wall from 1956 without issue, and all the wiring was tucked in neatly and is completely hidden despite a small working space. They stayed until the job was done, they made sure everything worked, and left the work spaces cleaner than they found it. Just had the permit inspector close the permit for us, and even he was impressed by their work. Going to have them install some ring cameras soon as well, will be our go to electrician in the future.

Very responsive, fair pricing, does great work. Shows up, cleans up and goes above and beyond to do what’s best in each situation. I live in an old house which makes it tricky, but they have had no problems figuring out what works best without turning an electrical issue into a plaster issue too. I had a 10/10 experience with Ken Sturtevant Electric. My 100 year old townhouse in Collingswood was fully rewired by them last week, and I also had them add recessed lighting to my living room. This was a multi-day job and I mainly dealt with Vince throughout (great name btw). He was friendly and responsive throughout, and his crew was very professional. The work done came out perfect and was very fairly priced. I'd highly recommend using them, and they will be my go-to in the future. Thanks again guys!

I called Ken yesterday (on Saturday) and he responded quickly and scheduled work for today (Sunday morning)! My daughter has an autoimmune disorder and was struggling to sleep due to the heat we’ve been experiencing; and our central a/c wasn’t able to cool her room to her comfort. I bought a portable a/c to help; then realized there was no 3-prong outlet in her room. Ken to the rescue! He was prompt, professional and proposed a cost-effective and safe solution. My daughter was so grateful, she hugged him. She will sleep in comfort tonight. I would highly recommend Ken for any electrical work!

Came out to repair recessed lighting in bathroom. Quoted $350 to replace 4 recessed lights, after further inspection, turns out minor repair and only charged $200. If you want an honest and efficient electrician, these are your guys!

These guys did an extraordinary job on our old house. They fit us into their busy schedule and completed the job quickly. They went above and beyond to help us. I would highly recommend them for any electrical job!

Came home on a Saturday night, turned on our dining room light and it popped taking several other lights, outlets and my oven with it. Called Ken Sunday morning, from call to him and his son arriving to my home was about an hour and this was on a Sunday! They had us back up and running in about another hour! Will definitely use him again and recommend him if you're in need of any electrical help!
