I was in town for a funeral, and had some issues with on-line flowers. Scrambling, I contacted Hall's and was greeted with a compassionate and caring sales person over the phone, who was able to get an amazing arrangement to the ceremony. Customer service was their priority and much appreciated during this stressful time. Thanks!

Diane, one of the floral designers at Hall's, was both sensitive and patient with me as I ordered funeral flowers for my mom. What was delivered to our family was perfect. I can't thank her enough for listening, understanding and then creating exactly what we wanted. Thank you so very much.

Tracy with the floral team was amazing to work with and turned around a large order. I called 4 pm the day before my event asking for florals, vases, and candles and she had them ready and delivered by noon the next day. (didn't catch the delivery drivers name but he was great too). The flowers were BEAUTIFUL!

I work for a non-profit and often have trouble finding garden centers that will work with us over the phone for large deliveries. Bob and Allison have been FANTASTIC! Helped me with two large orders, were extremely understanding of the work we're doing, and were an overall pleasure to work with. Any time we work in the area, I'll be sure to come back to them!

Never had a problem. Have used Halls for landscaping and hardscaping projects at my house. They were done well and I get many complements on the design. When one of the trees planted by them died it was replaced quickly without me even having to call. Tom noticed it when he was working at a neighbor's. I also frequent the nursery for plants, flower arrangements, wreaths, presents from the gift shop and our Christmas tree each year. Love Halls!

3 years ago my wife wanted a magnolia tree. Bob found us a beauty, Tommy's guys dug the most enormous hole and planted it in the right mix to see it thrive. Nowadays it's nothing short of magnificent.

We've had shrubs "installed" by Hall's and bought many plants which have all done well.

Last year I bought 30 yards of mulch from them in instalments. Even at their busiest, they were able to let me know when to expect the truck.

Finally, Hall's is a family business with the kind of service and attitude that goes with it. Way better than any chain store.

Received a gorgeous flower arrangement once again. They are my go to for everything. The arrangements are always perfect and gorgeous, delivery is always smooth, customer service is always amazing. Can not recommend them enough.

I went there last year in the the ugliest 30yr old Sanford and Son truck and yet was was amazed that the kids working there were not on there phones and in mass loaded up my truck with the items i bought like I was the most important client they had....
This year the same thing, not one kid is on the phone. My wife and I were asked in the parking lot what were were looking for by a kid who meant it. When the young man didn't know he brought me to the manager that did. The manager took care of us and treated our little purchase like we were life long buddies and biggest client. 100% sincerity.... and that was the manager that did the hiring.
This place is the only place I will buy plants, soil, Mulch.... weather they hire the best people or set them straight about why they are there I am not sure, but it is rare to find any business like this. They are 3x farther away than where I have been going but 10x the value.

I came to Hall's after reading the reviews and it did not steer me wrong. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful here, making this my new go-to nursery. I've never had much of a green thumb and it's late in the season which would explain why the selection was not as full as it probably was just a couple months ago. But I wanted to start a little potted herb garden to cook from and was using this moment as a learning experience. Next year I'll move up to potted vegetables. After feeling a little overwhelmed on what to get or how to keep it alive, Bob came to the rescue. This place was close to closing and that did not stop Bob from giving me a plethora of advice instead of rushing me out the door. He was super honest in what was worth growing at this point and what my expectations should be whilst giving tons of suggestions and little tutorials on what to do with my plants when I got home. He even threw a free roma plant in the mix after I told him I really wanted to grow plum tomatoes next. AND the herbs were HALF PRICE! I feel like I walked out with so much more than I expected to, even if my plants don't make it all the way through the season. I will definitely be coming back here.

My Girl Scout troop is doing a community service project involving planting a tree for our local library. Halls exceeded our expectations! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and we were able to find a beautiful tree within our budget. We even received a discount! The environment of Halls is so beautiful, and the gardens are gorgeous. 11/10, highly recommended!

Halls is great! I’ve been to every garden center/nursery within 40min of here and nothing compares. Especially if you’re looking for a tree.

Bob is beyond knowledgeable and his collection of peculiar trees is top notch. The guy can tell you anything you want to know.

It’s hard to find someone with passion like his who is willing to share the knowledge.

Bobby, Alison and the staff are awesome! They have the best selection of plants, trees and of course flowers. Always a pleasure to deal with them. We ordered some trees after talking to Bobby about our backyard. He nailed it and they are doing great and growing like crazy🙌🏻Halls planted them and the guys were amazing. They offer delivery, and they have a crew that will plant anything you want. If they plant it, they will insure it - as long as you're not a dumbass & fail to water.

The local sales people are friendly and knowledgeable and will leave you feeling confident that your landscape will pop in no time. Why go anywhere else? Seriously!

I came here on a whim since i was in the area in January and found like 3 of my dream plants! I can't wven imagine what they must have in the spring! And the prices were extremely reasonable for having some rarer types of plants like hoya kerri, tradescantia nanouk, and string of turtles it was so hard to not buy everything in the store. Also the employees were extremely friendly and kind, I'll definitely be back

They sent me dried out flowers and refused to refund the person who purchased them. The person I spoke to refused to believe that her flowers were dried out like paper because she put them together herself and guaranteed that the flowers are turned over fresh daily. Do not order arrangements from this place. Looks like I arranged it myself and a lot of dried florals. Unacceptable.

I can't say enough great things about this plant nursery! They have a wonderful variety of beautiful plants, making it a paradise for any plant lover. But what truly sets them apart is Bob and his incredible team. They are super knowledgeable and have always guided me perfectly to the most appropriate plants that will thrive in the conditions where I plan to plant.

I don't have a green thumb, but thanks to their expert advice and guidance, my yard is flourishing. Whether you're an experienced gardener or a beginner like me, you'll find the help you need here. Highly recommend!

Halls has the right choice of landscaping needs, plants and bulk sale of dirt and mulch for the area. Pricing is equal to any other, in some cases more affordable. They have a good selection of annuals, fruiting trees and perennials and have a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I have had them deliver bulk mulch and top soil several times in the last several years..and still one of my favorite garden centers. #shoplocalNJ

Set up in my house in 2 hours!!!!!(not to mention they were actually 10 minutes early)
Well if Berkeley heights doesn’t knock down Halls for more apartments we will never go anywhere else!!!
