My wife and I looked at about four other landscapers before deciding to go with Sun Viking Land Design. After we met with Derek (Owner) he clearly laid out exactly what he and his crew would do, how it would look, the time frame and cost! Let me say he accurately delivered! Dave (Crew foreman) is very talented in working with stone. He went the extra mile to make sure my wife and I were happy throughout the job. To anyone looking to have a beautiful stone patio installed in your backyard, you would be foolish to not call Sun Viking Land Design.

Highly recommend Sun Viking. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, it was a pleasure to work with this company. Our goal was to make improvements to our blah backyard concrete patio that was surrounded by overgrown shrubbery and featured two sets of rickety and awkwardly designed steps from the patio to the house. Sincerely appreciate the attentive manner in which Derek listened to our ideas and offered thoughtful suggestions that assisted us in making decisions that would allow us to be pleased with the finished project while staying on budget. Very impressed with the workmanship and professionalism of Dave and his crew as they worked through a heat wave to transform our backyard into an outdoor living space that we will enjoy for years to come. Derek and Dave go above and beyond what one would normally expect from a contractor and the pride they take in their craft is apparent in the quality of the work they produce.

After removing an above ground pool and a detached 2 car garage, my backyard was an empty slate. Derek designed a beautiful space. When a huge rainstorm hit at the start of the project, the amount of water that remained, that was not evident before, made them pivot. Due to their expertise, I now have the driest backyard on the block. The paver section is beautiful. They explained everything along the way, the entire team was respectful, neat and hard working. I would highly recommend Sun Viking.

Talk about top-notch work! Derek and the crew at Sun Viking recently installed a small patio in my backyard. My wife and I last minute decided to put a change on the crew and go with a different special order color. Derek moved mountains and worked with us to get the job done on time for a party we had last weekend. Total professionalism the entire length of the job. If you’re looking for outdoor work, patios, or all kinds of outdoor living. I highly recommend this crew. It’s very rare today that you find people to go above and beyond and Sun Viking definitely does.

They set a start date, were there on time, and finished it up in a timely manner, too. Their workers were great and professional. Sun Viking did our raised paver patio and we couldn't be more pleased. Derek, Dave, and his team were very professional, explained everything thoroughly, and finished when they promised. Our patio turned out even better than we expected, we would totally use Sun Viking again in the future.

We hired Sun Viking in 2016 to regrade our back yard, lay a substantial paver patio, redo steps, sod and flower bed. Not only did the job get completed with amazing attention to detail - it's held up beautifully. Unfortunately, I've heard horror stories of friends/colleagues hiring a contractor to only have the paver patio shift/sink after months. Fast forward to 2019- we had Sun Viking Land Designs do our sizeable with many unknowns - degrading and unsafe porch. Derek, Dave, Sly and team once again met the challenge and delivered a porch that held the time period and that we absolutely love. Derek and Dave truly cares about the work they do. We appreciated Dave's daily debrief of plans and options when the unknown was known. Before starting the project - we knew we would have to wait due to other jobs ahead of us... Worth the Wait! I also recommend planning/discussing any added $ for bigger unknowns or your own add ons along the way. Thank you Sun Viking.

Derek and the entire Sun Viking team were extremely professional. They were a pleasure to work with and their attention to detail was spot-on. The entire process was seamless and thoroughly explained to us. We were blown away with the final product. We use our patio daily and enjoy the additional space it has created in our home. The beautiful landscaping is by far anything we could have ever created ourselves. The Sun Viking team came to my property and knocked the ball out of the park with this landscape design and install for our new front entrance to our home.
They had completed our backyard paver patio in 2018 and it still looks as good as the day they finished, so we brought them back to create a new design for the front of our home, and Sun Viking nailed it! In under a week they changed the entire appearance to the front of our home.
