Won’t answer calls after replacing breakers that Tripp over a simple 10 watt light bulb. Uses very bad quality materials for all jobs. Don’t waste your time.

Don knows his craft. Great worker who takes pride in his work. Reasonably priced. Don is the electrician that you're looking for. The job that he did for me was neat, clean and professionally done. Thank you Don.

Don goes out of his way to make sure you’re happy with his work. He installed a wall conditioner that electricians won’t bother with. We couldn’t find anyone willing to move the heavy unit but Don went out of his way to help us. You won’t find service this good anywhere else. Period.

Don changed our living room chandelier to install recessing lights. He did such a wonderful and clean job. I highly recommend DLP for electrical services.

He replaced our Federal Pacific Electrical Panels and fixed all the other electrical nonsense in our house. He went above and beyond to make sure everything worked perfectly. My wife and I I can't recommended Don enough.

Having worked with many electricians over the years, can say confidently Don Pratola, owner of DLP Electric, is hands-down in a class of his own. The work was impeccable. The professionalism tremendous. His is the kind of service after which you wonder...why'd it take me so long to find this guy?

Do not recommend using DLP electric. Don came to us highly recommended, so we were hoping to have a great experience, but unfortunately, we had MANY issues with his service. 1. Don took over a month to start our electric work after we had already paid a deposit- his helper was injured, so we understood. 2. On day one he cut our internet wire- lied and said it was just our cable or phone line so we weren’t worried as we only have internet. That night we found out it actually was our internet. He then told us to call Verizon and lie that a tree fell on the wire and took it out. I understand mistakes happen, but the dishonesty is a big issue. 3. He broke a $200 item in our basement and never said anything. My husband and I heard glass break, but assumed it was just a lightbulb or something as any business owner with integrity would admit to breaking something in someone’s house. We confronted him about this later when we found it broken and he denied it. The majority of the glass was removed and cleaned up so he obviously knew it was broken. Once again, I would not have even cared if he just owned up to his mistake. 4. We never had any issues with our breaker previous to Don’s work. Now, our microwave trips the breaker at least weekly if not more. 5. Don installed a new line for our EV charger (replacing one we already had). We now cannot fully charge our car without the breaker tripping multiple times. We have even set our charge mode to a lower setting, but it still trips the breaker. We now will be paying another electrician to fix Don’s bad electrical work. I never write bad reviews, but this experience was absolutely awful.

No job too small. I’d been looking for months to have a dining-room light installed. Don responded fast, provided a reasonable quote, gave me a choice of a few install dates, arrived early and finished before the estimated time. He was professional, friendly and personable.

DLP Electric installed LED light fixtures throughout my basement. This is one top notch, professional company. Don and his assistant showed up on time, did outstanding work, and left my basement as clean as they found it. Was 100% satisfied, and they provided a great price. I will definitely recommend them, and use them for all of my electrical needs.

I cannot say enough good things about Don! We had several issues, which other electricians would not touch. Not only is he an expert in his field, but he truly cares about his customers.
Among other things, we had a chandelier which shorted and was no longer working. Other electricians said it had to be replaced. Don agreed to work on it for us. We shared the sentimental value of it and how upset my mom was if she had to replace it. He kept working and working on it until he fixed it! Mom was almost in tears! He also fixed other electrical issues in the house, including getting our antique sewing machine working again. In the end, Don is knowledgeable, efficient and very kind. Call Don for all of your electrical needs!! You won’t regret it!

I came across DLP Electric via a google search for local Electricians. My home lost power as a result of damage caused by a fallen tree branch. Don was fantastic to work with and I can't say enough positive things about the overall experience. He was quick to respond to my initial call, came out the same day to assess the damage and provide a quote, and was able to quickly get me back up and running. I felt his price was fair and I am very happy with the quality of work. I highly recommend his services.

I contacted Don for an estimate, he gave me what I wanted and gave me a recommendation and a better solution, which was cheaper.
Overall it was over the top to work with Don. His workmanship is great, he clean up his area after he leaves. What makes him really awesome is his communication, he does what he says, keeps you updated on what's next. He is transparent and is always on time.
Overall the best Contractor I have found in anything.
