I called KB after an electrician referred to me said my kitchen exhaust hood had to be replaced, without even coming out to see it. KB came out to give me an estimate, quickly noticed that the manufacturer was still in business, and ordered me a replacement fan. I then had KB replace my electric panel, some light fixtures, doorbells, etc. Egan and his team did a fantastic job and finished all the work early. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I got my ceiling fan installed today by the electrician Hector and he did a wonderful job! He was very diligent and after he finished I didn’t even have to clean. He’s very neat. He has also done another job for me putting lights in my kitchen and did a great job too! I strongly recommended this company and him

KB Electric provides reliably excellent service and has done so through the 30 years we’ve been in our 112 year old house. Courteous. Responsive. Articulate. Easy to reach, promptly call back. They come when they say they’ll come, spread dust covers over everything, and complete the job. And will do so neatly, with minimal dust. K B Electricians will answer every question and explain everything with as much, or as little, detail as you want. Helpful in determining what you need AND what you don’t need, what can and cannot be done, and whether the cost and upheaval is worth it.
You get the same excellent service for small jobs (a broken light switch) and huge. Most recently, KB Electricians Egan and Orlando spent five days at our house replacing miles of knob and tube wiring that was tangled between the walls from the basement through the third floor. And they did it leaving minimal dust.
Moreover, during the same week, Egan and Orlando took on and completed an additional job for us: installing new wiring and lighting in the basement ceiling. During which they fixed a couple of little things they came across while they were there.
This was typical when it was just Keith Ballentine, and has remained typical for all the teams KB has sent over all the years; they will go the extra mile.

Ramiro returned to do another job and was just as efficient and helpful as on his first visit. He really did a great. I am pleased.

I had an electrical issue with my flood lights in the front of the house. Ramiro and his assistant Max came to check it out. They quickly identified the problem and was able to fix it immediately. They were very efficient, knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend. Thanks again guys!

I just hired KB Electric to upgrade the electrical service to my single family home in Montclair, as well install a new 200 Amp Panel, EV car charger, and modify a ton of outlets, switches and junction boxes. Everyone from Alicia in the back office, Kenny, the estimator and supervisor, and Hector + Sherwin and their crew was amazing to work with. They called me with questions, and were very thorough with walking me through their progress through the project. The town passed the work with flying colors. All around, I am very happy with the result, and highly recommend KB Electric - especially Hector and his crew.

After 10yrs my Nest thermostat was giving me trouble and wouldnt turn on. Eventually it stopped working. A called a plumbing company (will remain unnamed) who tried to sell me a new boiler system for 13k. After 2 weeks of troubles, Anthony came over and fixed it for me in less than 2hrs.
