Jay and his crew worked quickly and efficiently to clean up unattended and overgrown areas of my yard, some of which even included poison ivy weeds. The job was fairly priced and they couldn't have been nicer.
They also also manicured and mowed the lawn. I would highly recommend this team and am glad to have seen their recommendation by someone else on facebook. Soon to be listed, my property is now ready for photos. Some before after shots below. Thanks guys!

We were looking for a landscaping company that would do plants/weed removal, level the ground and add organic mulch. Found this company via google and read the reviews. They did not disappoint. The owner came on time for the free estimate, gave honest opinion, sent the estimate right away. As promised, once approved they would come next day. The workers were on time, professional and did the work. We highly recommend them.

I highly recommend this service. Jay and his team are nothing but professionals. They are on time, informative, and want the highest quality they can achieve. My backyard was full of dirt and rocks when we called them. It was a mess. Within days beautiful sod was installed.

They go above and beyond as well. I had grass growing in the front of my home and they cut it free of charge without me asking. They even cleaned my pavement that was full of weeds. It was a kind gesture that showed me they really care for the customer.

If possible, I would give them 10 stars instead of 5. I’m happy to have found someone that I felt had my best interest in heart. If you need work done and this company offers it, please use them! I promise you will be a very happy customer. Thanks again for everything!

I highly recommend Jay and his crew. I had 27 privacy trees planted and it was scheduled and done within a couple days despite major issues with tree roots. Efficient, responsive, and genuine with a great price.

They enclosed our attic’s HVAC unit with walls and an access door, as well as restored our outdoor deck by replacing its aging stairs and floorboards, installed custom railings, and finished it all with a flawless paint job. We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Cut From Above! Jay and his team cleared out our front and back yards (it looked pretty bad upon move in), then planted beautiful sod. A month later it’s looking so great! We’re also using them for weekly lawn care and maintenance. So happy we found our landscaping team!

Jay and his staff and crew were extremely professional. Our pavers were brought back to life after over 20 years of neglect. I contacted A Cut From Above for an estimate for edging 3 walls of my newly installed fence with hydrangeas and preparing my backyard lawn for Spring. The estimate happened to fall on the same day as a rain storm, but the estimator Jay didn’t hesitate to come and complete the estimate anyway. On the day of the estimate, I received a quote for everything that needed to be done. The price was reasonable and the work was exceptional. The crew was on time and worked hard throughout the time they were at my home. They left my backyard clean after the work was done. I look forward to seeing the hydrangeas when they bloom. The crew brought my vision to life and I am extremely pleased.

Amazing experience with Jay and his team. They re-did our entire backyard with new grass all around. When I approached A Cut From Above, Jay was really quick to respond and came in person to talk about the project and figure out planning. They were really responsive with their communication leading up to the installation. When I asked for a stone border around the fence the day before the job started, Jay figured out a way to make it work and source all the materials in no time. They did a fantastic job. Jay and team installed pavers for a new patio off our back door. we’ve worked with Jay before and appreciate his clear communication and timeliness. It took 2 weeks from quote to completion. The actual work took 2-3 days and his crew worked late to complete and cleaned after each day. We’re so happy with the look of our new pavers and excited to spend more time outside this spring and summer. Will definitely call him again!

What can I say except perfect! I’ve worked on a lot of houses and this particular one we needed exterior landscape services and interior demo. In 3 days they turned the exterior of our house from overgrown and outdated to clean and open. We had all the bushes and dead trees removed with the roots. Then they planted brand new shrubs. They beautifully laid sod and mulched the beds. The curb appeal they provided in 3 days was outstanding.
Interior demo is always a bear. They cleaned out demoed beyond my expectations. I’ve never been more impressed with a contractor. Usually it’s a fight to get things done right, these guys told me the right way to do things.

Jay and his team were excellent to work with from beginning to end. It was easy to schedule a visit for a quote and work was able to begin promptly. Jay is personable and knowledgeable and very accommodating. Throughout the project he was available to answer questions and would visit the project site daily to make sure all was going accordingly. The team was hard working, attentive and respectful. The work completed was beautiful- it was clear the team cared to do excellent work. Jay and his team are wonderful to work with. They completed a series of waterproofing projects including exterior waterproofing (sealing the outside of one side of the house, dry well, replacing pipes to the street), interior French drains, removing an ejector pump in the basement, moving the sump pump to a better location, and scraping/repainting/waterproofing the interior walls. Jay and his team lead Elder are patient, kind, and generous with their time, always willing to explain the process. They are extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. Jay hires good people- the whole crew is a great group. The work is detailed, thorough, and the plan is thoughtful. They sent a cleaning crew to clean the basement after the drains, without us asking. Prices are good as well. We feel grateful for their work in helping make our basement a useable space. We’re very happy with the work and the experience. Highly recommend!!

We called A Cut From Above to give us a quote on new pavers for the backyard patio and sidewalk and they got back me very quickly. Jay came over and gave us a fair price for both services and he and his team were at our house within a couple of days. The team worked hard in the scorching heat and were able to complete the job in a week’s time. We were very pleased with the final result and couldn’t be more satisfied. Excited to enjoy the backyard now that it looks much better. Should any other projects come up, I know who I’ll call. 10/10
