We are a local coffee shop, LACKAWANNA COFFEE, in Jersey City, NJ. Several rainstorms knocked off our greenery and vines in our backyard causing our business to close down our backyard.

Jay and his team came in and did a fantastic job on our backyard and exceeded our expectations. Not only they exceeded our expectations, they saved our existing greenery from being cut down. They built a pergola with pressure treated wood to house our greenery. They did a wonderful job at cleaning up our backyard and revived our pavement to its original color. Our backyard is much more spacious than it was before. All of this in one day! Very impressive!

His foreman Elder really went above and beyond explaining everything thoroughly while simultaneously answering all my questions throughout the installation process. We were incredibly fortunate to find the landscaping company A Cut From Above. From the very beginning, they met with us promptly and worked within our budget to help create the backyard of our dreams. We worked directly with the owner, Juan Andrades, who took the time to understand our vision and helped us develop a plan to level the yard and create a large, functional space for a gazebo, including its assembly.
Juan and his team truly went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. They replaced our old concrete flooring with beautiful pavers and completely leveled the right side of the backyard, giving our daughter a safe and open space to run and play. Throughout the entire process, they communicated with us every step of the way and made sure we were happy with the results.
We couldn’t be more pleased with their work and highly recommend A Cut From Above for any landscaping needs. Don’t hesitate to give them a call—you won’t be disappointed.

Great team, called them with a power outage on my dryer and Brandon was very positive and reassuring. Then when Alex came he came on time, love that they use a system to text me when he is on his way.

When he came he not only fixed the issue but also educated me on my own home electrical system, which alone was worth the fee.

I recently had the pleasure of having Brandon install a new ceiling fan at my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the service he provided. I had an issue because the plumber that installed my shower handle improperly and couldn't seem to fix it. I called a few plumbers out, one wanted to break open my wall to fix the issue and told me I would have to find someone to fix the wall one he was done because they don't fix walls. All for a price of $1500 and is have to find someone to fix the wall which was tile. SMH. Because of this I finally found & called Alex. He came in and was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Not only did he fix the issue, but he was very transparent about everything he saw and informed me about everything he was going to do before he did it, and it didn't require breaking any walls. I appreciate his professionalism, honesty and good workmanship. Truly a lost art.
