Reviews of local pros in Chatham, New Jersey

We had some leaking over the fireplace and boiler and it was not working well all winter. The flue liner and bricks were cracked and there was a lot of creosote and dirt buildup. The Chatham Chimney team came out and did an awesome job. They rebuilt the chimney bricks put in a brand new crown flue and liner and made sure everything is safe and working great. Also did a chimney and fireplace cleaning. I’m looking forward to winter 2026 working fireplace and heating system that doesn’t malfunction every time it gets under 30 degrees outside. My family is really going to enjoy! They ensured that no more leaks for future. Super happy with the service really great company and I definitely recommend!

They took the time to explain what they discovered and what was required, and gave me options, which made me confident that they were not just charging me the most to do the least. The work they did was excellent. Everything about the experience felt professional and I’ll be using them again.

BEWARE: This is not a real company, avoid at all costs. They use a fake address out of an empty building. Contracted help that has zero accountability. Their website is all fake information.

Significantly damaged my fireplace. Refused to buy the part to fix it. Completely stopped responding to outreach.

Really happy with Chatham Chimney Services. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the pricing was better than other places I checked. Would definitely use them again.

Chatham chimney! Thaw gents installed a new liner and replaced our fiue tile with a gray price, attitude, and work ethic! I commend these gentleman 😊

The moment you find yourself realizing you need a chimney technician (which embarrassingly enough I thought was like a dickenzien Mary Poppins type thing But actually being a property It turns out it Is a very real thing that My property manager had to explain to me is a very real thing that could’ve cost me quite a lot of money and insurance premiums or God forbid accidents) Needless to say Couldn’t just reach out to a gal, pal of mine For Such recommendations luckily Google actually came through on this one and Chatham Lived up to their reviews They were quick, courteous, professional And while I do not know what the going rate for such services are my accountant didn’t lecture me so Needless to say I would highly recommend these guys

I had an excellent experience with Chatham Chimney Services! They arrived right on time, were professional and courteous throughout the entire visit, and made sure to keep everything clean while inspecting and sweeping our chimney. They explained everything clearly and gave honest recommendations without any pressure to upsell. I really appreciated their attention to detail and respect for our home. I now feel confident that our fireplace is safe to use. Highly recommend them to anyone needing chimney services!

The family has been searching for the best price on a cement chimney crown for quite some time now and not only did Chatham Chimney provide that for us, the work is outstanding!!!!! We are beyond thrilled with our new aesthetic

2nd time I booked appointment with Chatham Chimney Services and both times I have been so happy with this company! The crew is so amazing and really know what they are doing. The first time I used them was for a cleaning of fireplace and chimney. I was so impressed with the results so I called back to install gas logs for our fireplace in living room. Works perfect and my family is so happy with not having to deal with old school fireplace. I use my remote now to turn on and off and so happy!!!!! You can tell you are dealing with experienced professionals with Chatham Chimney Services. Again I highly recommend this company and will continue to use them!

STAY AWAY!!!!! Most of the reviews are clearly fake, and I fell for it... This company is completely unprofessional. They subcontracted out a basic chimney sweep service to a shady team led by a man named Ely at “Professional Chimney Services”, who showed up wearing all black and none of the company-issued gear pictured in the reviews. Ely initially quoted $4k to apply cement to the top of the chimney along with a chimney cleaning. When he could tell I wasn’t going to bite, he left the premises to buy a tiny bucket of premixed cement as I was dealing with another contractor in the home, and when he came back to the house with bucket in hand, he dropped the cost to $2.75k. Against my greater senses, I let him proceed with the work. He and one other guy spent all of 15 mins cementing the top of the chimney and the fireplace is still visibly filthy. Do not trust these guys.

Chatham Chimney!!!! Thank you gentlemen our new chimney cap that was installed is awesome and they did a great job at cleaning and repairing the chimney as well! A+ services for a great price

I have worked with several chimney companies in the past few years and Chatham Chimney Services and the installation team was by far the most impressive. Pricing was fair. They took there time to explain everything and worked with my mother and I to ensure a great final product. The working spaces was kept clean throughout as they removed a wall section. They installed gas fireplace brand new and beautiful!! Regarding the chimney a cap and flue were installed and a full cleaning. The wall was restored perfectly and we were beyond satisfied. Chatham Chimney Services take great pride in there work from scheduling, explaining, installation, cleanliness and professionalism! The result works perfect and looks beautiful!

Very happy with the service from Chatham Chimney. Asked around for a reliable and fairly priced service and was recommended to use these guys by a few different people. For anyone looking for quality work done by people who know what they are doing, I would suggest Chatham!

I am so glad I found Chatham Chimney Services. I had called in last minute and they were able to get out to me in no time, while here they walked me through the process and were meticulous in thier work. Afterward they took the time educate me on standard processes to keep me and my home safe through the winter. I really couldn’t recommend them more.

Chatham Chimney was very pleasant to work with. They came through, installed a new damper and chimney cap, and handled everything in a really professional and no stress way. Definitely a crew I’d call again.

Amazing job by these workers at Chatham Chimney Services. I called them to figure out a cleaning solution to maintain chimney and fireplace for years. They really came through for me from A to Z. They Installed multiple liners, one for my chimney which I thought it was an impossible job in such a tight space. Job was done perfectly, even sent me a picture and I was shocked at the completely clean chimney and liner installed in that narrow space. Second liner was for my fireplace they converted from a brick flue liner to a stainless steel liner and did an unbelievable cleaning. Definitely using again and recommending to friends & family!

Ross was the best! I called Chatham Chimney Services in the morning and they came through on the same day and punctually on time. I definitely recommend this company. They cleaned my fireplace really well as seen above. Additionally, a full sweep of the chimney and furnace was performed and an ashy odor was removed. I will be calling back Chatham Chimney Services semi-annually in the future to ensure that everything is working perfectly and cleaned!

Man, let me tell you!!!!!!! this chimney company is different. From the minute they pulled up, I knew I was dealing with real professionals. They showed up on time, handled everything with straight expertise, and kept it honest the whole way through. No games, no upselling, just real work and real respect.

They broke everything down for me step-by-step so I actually understood what was going on. The vibe was cool too, friendly, patient, and you can tell they really take pride in what they do. My chimney went from looking wild to looking BRAND NEW. The whole spot feels safer and cleaner.

You don’t meet companies like this every day. Reliable, trustworthy, and they move with that old-school integrity that’s rare now. If you need chimney work done, stop looking….this is the team you call. Highly recommend.

Chatham Chimney was solid all around. Professional but still down to earth, which I appreciate. They cleaned and checked my chimney, answered all my questions, and didn’t rush the job. Everything looks and works better now. Definitely felt like my house was in good hands.
