Jim upgraded my circuit panel. I was very satisfied. All the work was done very professionally and neatly. The job took a few days. Each time when he was done for the day he left the jobsite clean.

Jim has helped us with numerous projects from the simplest to the very challenging, treating each one with the same care. He's been extremely patient and kind and has taken initiative and gone above and beyond in meeting my mother's needs and demands. Since we became his clients, he's been accessible for troubleshooting by text. It's a great comfort having Jim as a trusted resource. As an added bonus, he's super personable and we usually have some laughs in the course of the project.

Jim Chambers has done a few jobs at our house, both big and small. What I will never forget is during Hurricane Sandy when we were completely without power. Jim went to purchase a portable generator for us in rainy, windy weather, ran a new line to the circuit box, showed me how to start it, and got us up and running. A professional with a heart, imagine that?

Jim accomplished an impossible feat. I lowered my 250 lb. chandelier from an 18 ft ceiling for cleaning and, upon raising it back to the ceiling by a motored cable, it did not work. I had electricians tell me I have to replace the motor, which also entailed dismantling the light fixture and building a scaffold on which to rest it - thousands of dollars. Jim, on inspection and some questioning, diagnosed the problem being that the contact between the chandelier and the ceiling was misaligned. Within hours, the chandelier was shining bright. Thank you Jim for your professionalism, experience and hard work!

Jim is genuinely an electrician that wants to fix the problem. He is responsive and has wonderful communication. I had an issue with partial electricity in my home. I would highly recommend an honest and kind person to help you with your electrical needs. That is not easy to find these days.

Jim was very responsive in calling me back within 5 minutes of leaving him a voicemail, and was able to squeeze my non emergency issue in at the end of his Friday night. He was transparent in his pricing before arrival which was an hourly rate. He troubleshot and fixed my issue very quickly, and continued to check other components. My electrical box was flagged as being out of code during the process of purchasing my new house, so I brought in Jim to fix it. Jim does high quality work and communicates everything very clearly. Jim provided an excellent service in troubleshooting my outdoor light fixtures, securing outdoor outlets and installing a dehumidifier in my crawlspace. He was prompt, professional and very friendly. I recently hired Jim to help me with my meter pan, grounding wire installation and electrical panels. His work was perfect all around. Specifically:
1. Professionalism - Jim practices his craft with the highest degree of expertise and care. Everything he did he did both right and aesthetic.
2. Communicativeness - Jim helped make sure that I understood what he was doing and why.
3. Timing - he came 15-20 minutes earlier than he said he would and did not leave until the job was done. This was with new service line and took all day. I think he lived on water that day.
4. Value - while I wish he was cheaper, you get what you paid for - an incredibly dedicated professional who knows what he's doing, and excellently completes the work.

Jim did a fantastic job today for my family on a very short notice. I needed a 120V outlet replacement with a 240V because our new AC required it, plus other small fixes and we couldn't find anybody to take the job on such a short notice. Had a great experience with Jim, he is knowledgeable, patient, and diligent with his work. We had to push back the date to do the work multiple times due to weather or other inconveniences and he was very communicative throughout. Very open and upfront about everything he was doing and never felt like you weren't being told the truth about the work being done.
