All Technicians were respectful and knowledgeable. They helped to explain what they were doing, and how to maintain it. Their craftsmanship was top notch and organized. We had a really amazing experience with Olson's. We were out of AC during a week and half heat wave and chasing a toddler around while 5 months pregnant in this heat was NOT fun. Chris came to the rescue quickly. It turned out we needed an entire new unit installed. Chris was able to rearrange his schedule a bit to make this happen ASAP. We were so thankful for that. The employees who helped install the new AC/heat unit did such a wonderful job. They worked efficiently and professionally the entire day and my husband and I can not say enough good things about the Olson's team. Highly recommend!

Installers were very professional and clean. Very happy with their work. From the start, Kris was very responsive during the 4th of July holiday week when I lost my second floor AC unit. He provided options and his honest opinion on what was best for my home. We were so happy with the service and pricing that we will be replacing our 1st floor unit as well with a high efficiency unit.

Olson’s Air Conditioning and Heating is a reputable company. My entire experience with their installation of a new furnace, chimney liner and humidifier was outstanding. Kris gave an honest assessment of our needs and provided options in the estimate. After agreeing on a unit, installation took place shortly thereafter.
John and his assistant performed a neat and clean installation, going above and beyond the contract by adding a trap for the condensate line, even though I didn’t replace the air conditioning system. These guys care about the quality of their work.
When I called about the variable speed fan working differently than my old unit, Kris explained the differences and made sure that everything was functioning properly.
The installation passed inspections without any issues, and the new Rheem furnace and Honeywell humidifier perform as expected. I should add that the new furnace is significantly smaller, in BTUs as well as physical size, than my older one.
The bottom line for me is that Olson’s does quality work at a fair price.

Kris and his team were very nice and professional. Their work was excellent and they were extremely responsive. We had to replace our central air and heating system, they were very fair, explained everything, in details, gave us several options with pros and cons and were responsive to a last minute change with no issues. I highly recommend them and our unit is working great.

Olson's is a recent partner with Gold Medal Heating and Air, who was just exposed on Insider Edition as upselling HVAC units to clients who do not need replacements. As a partner to Gold Medal, it brings considerable concerns to light, as they chose to partner with a business who defrauds its customers. Stay safe when choosing your HVAC vendor, and get a second opinion in this area, as you can't trust the people Olson's partners with.

Problem, Kris personally came over to see what he needed to do. Kris ordered the water heater and the day that it arrived it was installed the old one was taken away .
With no mess to clean up afterwards.

Olson AC & Heating responded promptly to our call when our AC stopped working. Kris sent his technician the same day I spoke with him to assess the problem. The issue was temporarily fixed, and Kris provided us with different options to replace the units. We had our HVAC system replaced in less than a week. Olson team was very professional and courteous. We are very happy with the work done.

I had a flooded basement due to Hurricane Ida. The water heater and furnace were not working, and I spent a good hour calling around trying to get someone on the phone to come take a look. Olson's was one of only two that called me back. They sent someone out the next day (Zach) to assess the damage. There was an understandably long line of people who needed their HVAC and hot water heater replaced, but Zach went above and beyond in helping me get the job done. While I appreciate the reasonable pricing, punctual arrival, and excellent work, it was the superb customer service that made me want to leave this review. I highly recommend Olson's and would not hesitate to reach out in the future.

What a pleasure dealing with this company. We had our 15 year dysfunctional furnace heating and air cooling system replaced with a new system. Mr. Olson is honest and so accommodating, he explained everything in detail and worked with us to find the best solution for our needs.The Olson team of 3 was headed by John, who was thorough, conscientious and highly professional.The Olson team worked nonstop and when they were finished they cleaned up nicely. We are ecstatic about how nice a job they did in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this company.

I had my entire HVAC system replaced by Olson's in July of 2020, and they did a great job! The installers were professional and showed up right on time, were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. They wore masks when they were inside my home. The new system, including a Nest thermostat that I had purchased, was explained to me and they provided extra filters for the furnace. Friendly, professional service and a very reasonable price! And I like to use a local business so very happy with how everything went.

I have known Kris for over 20 years. A few years ago, My wife and I needed to replace our Air Conditioning and Furnace Units in our Town House. We called Olson's Air Conditioning & Heating Inc. The job was completed in one day. All questions asked by my wife and I were answered and explained. His staff are honest and efficient. I have had trouble free service and use from our new unit. Kris Olson came highly recommended to me and after 3 different estimates we chose Kris. He gave us 3 different price options which was helpful in making our decision. He was prompt and courteous and his techs were also. They were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They covered everything while they worked and were respectful of my property. Excellent service and great price

I had called and spoke to Kris; he came out and gave me a estimate that was much better then the 3 others I received. The techs arrived when on schedule and the installation went perfectly and the area was efficiently cleaned, almost as if they hadn't been there. The techs then explained everything from start to finish. I would recommend Olson's to everyone. One of the best decisions I made was having them replace my furnace and air conditioning. Kudos to Kris, Barkley and John.

After getting 3 estimates, Kris came in with the best price. The crew arrived promptly and immediately covered my floors and started the job. The crew was professional and very neat. They worked quickly and the job went smoothly. They also installed a new hot water heater the same day. This company is awesome!

We had a Rheem HVAC system installed by Olson Air in October 2021 with 10 yr parts and 3 yr labor warranty. less than 3 yrs later, the AC broke down. Since the install, Olson Air has either sold or outsourced their business to Gold medal servicing. We called GM and they said that the part needed for the AC was on back order for ~ 6 weeks. The technician Dominic said that they would try and get it sooner from another supplier in perhaps 2 weeks.
Its been over 2 weeks now and we've had to endure the sweltering 95+ degree heatwave with no central AC. we had to incur additional costs and put in at least 1000 bucks worth of wall AC units.
if that's not bad enough, here's the part of real consternation and the reason for the ZERO star - I have kept calling GM to get an update on the part at least 6-7 times now. I've even offered to try and find the part myself if they would supply me with the part #. Everytime, the call goes to a national call center who then connects me with the local dispatch who has the same ridiculous answer for me - "I'll send an email". They state that they have no way to find the status of a part order, cant tell me what the part # is, cant patch me in to their supervisor (same response - I'll send an email to the supervisor and he'll get back to me when he has availability), or the technician. I asked if they can connect me with the technician - same answer - I'll send an email. I've asked for the technician to call me back at least twice and there's been nothing.
I also contacted Kris Olsen, the owner of the Olson Air and have texted and left messages. Absolutely no follow up by anyone. The "No breakdown" gaurantee they have on their website is an absolute joke. They clearly dont stand behind their product or services. I understand systems can breakdown, but absolutely no follow up on the status or the part and no follow up from the technician or the supervisor is beyond ridiculous. I'm not sure how to proceed and how much longer to wait. I did find something that may be the right part but it costs several 100s of $$, but GM still hasnt confirmed the part that's needed or if they will install it if I buy it. If I go to another technician, it'll be several 100s of $$ to fix and this is supposed to be covered under warranty.

I will be reporting both of these companies to the BBB. They have horrible service and dont stand behind their services or promises. I think GM is deprioritizing me b/c of the labor warranty. If i were a monthly subscriber to their service, I'm sure they would probably act much quicker.

Needless to say, I would have gone to another company and perhaps with another system like Trane or Lennox.

Stay away from Olson and GM. Kris Olson came off as being very local with a family run business but no follow up, responsibility or support on their services.

Olson Air or Gold Medal - if you see this, have some integrity, stand behind your product and services, you need to contact me ASAP.

I just got my AC replaced with Olson and am extremely satisfied with my overall experience. Tremendous group of people to work with specially Krish, who not only provided me very fast service as he understood I am without cooling, but gave me a great price, he even helped me installing smart thermostats. His team is very professional and thorough gentlemen, they ensured all safety precautions and safe distancing while doing their jobs and were very courteous in explaining me about the whole process. For them, the customer satisfaction does come first. Would strongly recommend them to others.
