The technician was friendly and efficient. Gave me information about my problem and explain potential solutions. Very easy to work with when it came to my heating system

Jack Frost was incredibly responsive when we needed them the most. During a cold stretch this winter our furnace went out and needed to be replaced. They were able to source and install a furnace faster than anyone else and at a very fair price. We have used them for years servicing our equipment and have found them to be very fair and reliable.

This place is a JOKE! DO NOT use them for anything. I had them do a routine maintenance on my AC and 60 days later it completely stopped working. When i called them to discuss their immediate response was to point fingers. They also were more concerned with the other company I called to check why the AC stopped working rather then assist is solving my problem. Jessica (the owner) is rude and completely not helpful. DO NOT USE this company for ANYTHING

I had a great experience with Jack Frost! Days before our daughter's Sweet 16, our HVAC unit started making loud noises in the middle of the night, waking everyone up. Luckily, it was cool enough to shut it down for a few hours.
I searched Google for HVAC services and saw Jack Frost Heating & Air Conditioning at the top of the local listings. I've seen their trucks often, so I figured they must be good. I called, and a technician arrived within a couple of hours.
Zachary, our technician, quickly isolated the problem and gave me options. After deciding, he made a few trips for parts, and our system was back online. I highly recommend Jack Frost! Thank you for saving our daughter's Sweet 16 planning headquarters from disaster! -
This company was amazing when the Father, Tom ,was running this business. You could count on excellent service and follow up. We had this company ( When Tom Sr. was involved) install heating and air conditioning units costing us 50,000 dollars. This company has been turned over to the son who seems to neglecting the business and is incompetent as a business owner. Jessica is their customer service representative and is incompetent. We utilized this company for many years when Tom Sr. was the owner and they were excellent. I would no longer recommend this company.
Thank you Jessica for your rude response. Please everyone look at the comments relating to Jessica’s rude comments to customers. She also claims to be Tom Sr ‘s wife. If Tom Sr is still running the company why is he unavailable for a customer phone call? He made over a dozen visits personally to our home to check the quality of work. He also convinced us to purchase a monthly service charge for them to provide maintenance. We have paid that fee since 2022. Please be very careful. Look at the other reviews. This company is very different from the company we utilized for many years.
Again, Thank you Jessica for your incompetent and rude remarks with many grammatical errors. We did not request a “free” service call. I requested a maintenance call based on the fees your company has been charging me for the last three years on a maintenance contract. My air conditioning was never compromised or not working. I requested a maintenance check. You stated I would need to pay over 200 dollars for a maintenance call. I requested to cancel the contract. You stated, “it cannot be cancelled over the phone or on the website”. We needed to send a specific email to cancel. I also did not request to speak to Tom immediately. I requested he contact me at his earliest convenience since in the past he was very attentive and also very kind and considerate to my mother in law who was disabled. We had a conversation how my wife was also an Occupational Therapist. (He was very proud of his daughter). -
Scheduled an appointment in order to get a furnace diagnosed and possibly fixed. After giving my details and credit card my appointment was confirmed. 30 min later it was canceled for no reason. According to the reviews I am not the first person they did this too neither will I be the last.
Complete waste of my time. -
I had an Energy Kinetics System 2000 boiler installed by a previous company that wouldn't maintain the system. I called Energy Kinetics directly and they gave me 4 companies to call. After speaking with all 4, I went with Jack Frost. They came the next day and performed a boiler maintence, and within minutes was able to correct the issue I had with my heating a specific area that the previous company screwed up on. I signed up for the maintenance plan right there and then.
Thanks again Thom for a job well done. -
No heat. Several other companies wouldn't get back to me or couldn't come for several days. They were able to come the same day for no extra charge. They also text when they are on the way. Also upfront with pricing regarding call out and diagnosis.

EXCELLENT! I called and Thomas Jr was at my house same day, right on time. He was personable, knowlegable, explained everything completely (without making a sales pitch).
This is a family owned small business and we need to keep businesses like this alive. They service and repair honestly and the right way!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Addendum: we decided to have new thermostats installed after our great experience with Thomas Jr the first time. The first night we set to A/C, nothing happened! I called, Thomas came back, found the minor wiring issue, owned his error, VOILA! All good!
Still a 10 in our book and the only folks we will use for our HVAC going forward! -
Came back from vacation on saturdat and our boiler was acting up. Called multiple companies without an answer. Finally Called Jack Frost and a tech was at my house 30 minutes later and we up and running less than an hour later. Super professional and prompt. Will be using for all of our heating and cooling needs from now on.

Very much regretting going with Jack Frost on my recent NatGas conversion. Multiple problems within the 1st three months of install due to incorrect installation. Inept service technicians struggled getting the job done while often having to call someone else to walk them through the job. Began having problems with my electrical panel. A electrician came by to assess the problem and discovered that the venting outside the home from the boiler was pointed right at my electric meter flooding the meter and the main line with vapor and condensation causing several thousand $$ worth of water damage to my meter, main power line and fuse panel. Dishonest technician refuses to acknowledge that the venting caused the water damage while arguing the ignorant belief that steam is not a byproduct of combustion. Then I had one of the most frustrating and infuriating discussions with an argumentative receptionist where she accused me of redirecting the vent cap myself. So sorry I went with Jack Frost, inept and dishonest.

So the guy comes out for diagnostic job, promised $115 over the phone, they charged $247. He figured out the problem (hopefully) and provided an estimate $899.95. I found out, that the part cost $229 and it's one hour job. So I gave Jack Frost an opportunity to fix the estimate, hoping there was an error. They said no. So for this project, Jack Frost rate per hour is $670 dollars. I refused, considering this an absolute scam!

My 25 y/o natural gas forced air furnace was not igniting and giving me a variety of problems over the past two seasons. I called Jack Frost because they were local and had a lot of good reviews. They came out right away and after a thorough inspection, we determined the best course was to replace the furnace and ac system. The supervisor Alex was very knowledgeable and familiar with the products they offer. He answered all my questions and did not pressure or oversell me a system I didn’t need. I did go with the high efficiency Amana system with a 2.5 ton ac unit. I researched the system and all the reviews were very good. Reliability, efficiency (94%), and the best warranty (lifetime compressor, 10 yr parts and labor on furnace). Not the cheapest out there but the price with installation was very competitive. They had the units in stock and installed everything the day after. The 4 techs spend 8 hours installing and did a fantastic job! They were professional, neat, and very pleasant! The installation was impressive and spot on. I rarely leave long reviews but I was so impressed with these guys and my overall experience with Jack Frost I wanted to let you know. Great service is tough to find these days so it’s refreshing when you do! I would recommend these guys to anyone in need of a new hvac system! Keep up the good work!

Jack Frost really came through for me in a very tough situation where all of my heating and air-conditioning was decommissioned at the same time and I needed urgent replacement two weeks before Christmas. Within one hour of my call, a technician was here to assess what was required, they got back to me same day with a very fair price and started work 48 hours later. Their responsiveness and sense of urgency made the difference. All of the staff were great, specifically Mario who was knowledgeable, communicative and pleasant. I highly recommend this company and Mario for any job!

Great team!!!!! They were very competitively priced with no hidden fees and installed a completely new central AC system in 8 hours! They even removed my old condenser and blower. These guys were very professional, friendly and answered all my questions. I would recommend Jack Frist to anybody. Because of their pricing and excellent service, Jack Frost is now my new heating and AC service company, moving forward.

Had an issue with my water heater and called Jack Frost. They had Alex come out within 30 min to diagnose the problem and recommended a new water heater. Water heater was ordered and his team installed it in the same day! The service provided was beyond my expectations! I highly recommend.

On time, friendly, knowledgeable.
Was one of the only HVAC companies to know our electric system
did not even complain when He had to walk and work in all the snow around the units. -
We’ve been using Jack Frost since we bought this house 4 years ago. We do the monthly member fee which. I think has saved us $$ over time as we just replaced the 3rd (out of 4) A/C condensers. Good guys, honest and true to their word. With 4 HVAC systems in this house we need priority service and between the discounts, free inspections and extended warranties I think this has worked out well for us. Tom Jr was super knowledable and on his game.
Since they are family owned and there are 3 sons who oversee and also often do the work you can count on consistency, responsiveness and good advice. Two summers ago we realized we had a leak in the attic A/C unit that resulted in the condenser backing up and water was leaking into our Den ceiling below the day before we were heading to Europe for a family vacation. The guys showed up after we left and spent 5 hours rerouting drain pipes across the attic and out side the back of the house. Our dog sitter was able to let them in and they took care of everything. Plus, since they had originally installed the unit they handled it w no charge and no fuss. 4 years in and multiple encounters later we still highly recommend. Today we replaced the 3rd condenser and then had them move the only old condenser to another hook up. It was a complex install but they handled it no problem -
I wish I could Tom and his team a higher than 5 star review. His assistant Sue was professional curious and explained the process of paperwork and payment clearly. She made sure I understood how much my credit card was going to get charged when and how much. Tom is a kind and caring. He explained what he was doing and how much it would cost before he did anything in my home. I wish I could take his whole crew to Florida with me when I move in 2 weeks.

Jack Frost is nothing but a money grabbing business. They charged me to come out and diagnose the problem with my heating system, they barely bled my baseboards and then said sorry cant figure it out. I bled them further and they started working. They charged me $250 to come out and tell me I was out of luck. Oh and when they installed my boiler, they signed me up for a $32 monthly "subscription" that literally covers NOTHING!! Beware!

Based on the reviews we read of their exceptional service, we had this company come out to install HVAC and a new furnace 2 years ago. Since then we’ve had many issues with the furnace turning on. It’s brand new and shouldn’t have these complications in my opinion. The thermostat calls for heat and the furnace doesn’t fire. We hear the click downstairs by the furnace and the furnace does nothing. They claim it’s the thermostat And the wiring and that they would have to charge us a diagnostic. They also claim we did the wiring when in fact it was done by their field team. When I say “they” I mean the receptionist/owners’s wife. We’ve tried calling to remedy the issue and I’ve tried mediating amicably. The wife is very unprofessional, condescending and rude. She constantly argues with my husband and then continues to be rude and have a nasty and dismissive attitude with me when I try to understand the issue is they are having. I’m in the service industry and I don’t speak to people the way she spoke to me. We have been paying the membership they have you sign up for to warranty their work. It’s kind of funny they would do this considering we’ve been paying that stupid fee and feel like they don’t appreciate us as their customers. Well, at least she doesn’t. I have referred many people to them and to be treated this way is very disappointing. I will be seeking service elsewhere. I won’t be referring anyone to them anymore. What a waste of money on the monthly. My recommendation is don’t do it save that money for when and if an issue occurs. I hope your experience is better than ours. Husband is kind and patient but idk what his Mrs.’ Issue is towards us. Her name is Janice I think. She’s the one that usually answers. Watch out she bites. She’s awful.
See photo below of the mess Tom Sr. Left when he switched our valve. Last tech they sent fixed the wiring nicely. She claims it’s the wiring and the thermostat which has nothing to do with it. The boiler isn’t turning on and it’s new. They just don’t feel like doing it and want to charge us for something that should be covered. We’ve tried restarting it and it won’t turn on.
