I'm posting 5 stars for workmanship and how well the Jersey Boys Plumbing Co. took advantage of a situation. The service call was Monday, January 26th, after the snow and ice storm. The repair/replacement was for an exterior hose bib, 5 feet of copper pipe and the installment of 1/2" full-port ball valve. 3 tasks and maybe 1or 1 1/2 hrs of work. Total Charge with a $50.00 discount: $1,172.88 I paid in full. I had nothing to base cost on and no-one to educate me. Until neighbors were told about the price I paid, I was happy my cellar did not flood. Here's what others and another plumber said: Jersey Boys took advantage of the situation, your senior years and urgency of service. You should have been charged between $350.00 to $500.00. A few days later when temps were in the teens, an interior pipe froze, not allowing the utility tub or washing machine to drain. Another plumbing company replaced copper tubing, installed 2 tub shut-offs, new faucet for the tub, hot and cold spigots to the washing machine, replaced the cracked drain pipe that froze and installed a whole house 1/2" full-port ball valve in the basement. Total cost: $750.00 I requested a financial reimbursement from Jersey Boys. Their answer "NO reimbursement for our work". I have no plumbing background. The plumbing tech played on me and wife's flooded basement fear and good nature. With so many plumbers competing, why gouge or cheat and ruin a possibility of future work or referrals?
I spoke with Jackie, who is incredibly great at her job. She was thorough, answered all my questions and concerns, and was a pleasure to speak with. She gave me all the information I needed and pointed me in the right direction of services for a faucet replacement. Was able to get me scheduled that same day! So appreciative. Thank you so much!
Jersey Boys helped my Mother with the purchase & installation of a new water heater for her home. John came out to assess the situation with the help of his coworker Hunter. Both guys were super thorough. John took his time to explain everything that needed to be done. He was Understanding & considerate of the fact that a repair such as this is no drop in the bucket, for the majority of people. Financing over a period of time is an option which is comforting. We are a working class family & John himself is a working class man, so you know he gets it! Family owned businesses are built different & I highly recommend reaching out to Jersey Boys for Plumbing & HVac services! They just get it!
John, Hunter, Alex, Dan and Frank came in to do my brother and sister in laws sewer line. I got to tell you, they came right in at 7am and did awesome work, completingat 3pm! They were professional, courteous, and any questions they had no problem answering. Thank you guys for your hard work and professionalism!!
Jersey Boys Plumbing is by far the most reliable company in our area. We had frozen & burst pipes in our crawl space after these recent freezing temperatures. We called multiple local plumbers over the last few days and were extremely disappointed in the lack of response, direction, or help we received from the others. Jersey Boys fit us in without hesitation. John & Andrew responded with courtesy and professionalism. They explained the issue the found and quoted us a fair price to resolve. They were able to fix our pipe during the first visit and set expectations for our next steps. When everyone else falls short, Jersey Boys handle business. I really wanted to review Jersey Boys Plumbing because Hunter was really professional, asking questions to know how to serve us better and understand what was really going on, he took the time to lessen and then took the appropriate action. It's nice having business that do the job as promised. You got what you paid for. So I recommend for sure!
