I called C&D Thursday night regarding a leak coming from my condensate line. Three minutes later I received a call back from Ryan. He asked some diagnostic questions and we decided to hold off until the following day for the repair. Kaitlyn from the office followed up first thing in the morning. Ryan showed up at the designated time, explained the problem, made the repair, and tested his work. He was competent, professional and neat. This was the second time I’ve enlisted the services of C&D. They did not disappoint.

I contacted C&D cooling and heating to take a look at my hot air furnace, which had been making noises for several months. The service person identified all the issues with my furnace and gave me the costs upfront and was very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions that I had. I had also asked him the price out a new heating and cooling system, and he gave me two options that would be sized correctly for my house as well as explaining and answering any questions. I would definitely recommend this company and will be using them in the future.

We have been customers of C&D Cooling and Heating for about 3 decades. We are long time participants with their air conditioner system maintenance contract. They are knowledgeable, customer focused, willing to research where needed to get answers, polite, thorough and prompt with their responses. We value their advice and we trust them to do proper inspections, do the required maintenance and not try to do unnecessary work just to raise the bill. Today we had a fine technician , Alec, who exactly fit the mold of the C&D technician. He was great, customer focused, knowledgeable and thorough. In summary, a trustworthy company to depend on for climate control.

I was a customer off and on over recent years, most recently for annual service on relatively new systems that were still under warranty. Our experience was very good; C&D was competent and friendly, good to work with, and reasonable enough.

Unfortunately, I am a former customer due to a not so good experience. During an annual service visit, the technician came to me with one of the condenser capacitors and wanted to show me that while it was functional it was at risk of failing. Instead of replacing the old capacitor in his hand, he offered to replace it with a new one. He did not provide a quote, and I did not ask for one. I figured he would charge me something (the part was maybe $75). Afterwards, he presented an invoice for over $300, which we paid. But he had the capacitor in his hand, as part of an annual service visit, and then invoiced me for C&D’s “ala carte” price to replace it as a separate service. Cause for pause, perhaps. I do understand the costs C&D is facing and that they guarantee the replacement. The technician may have met his sales target that day, but C&D lost an annuity. Just my opinion here.

Called for appointment late on a Friday afternoon and was told someone would call me Monday morning. They didn’t. But when I called again Wednesday morning they sent someone out the same day. Our system is approx 25 yrs old and needed coolant (Freon) and a control panel. Cost was $2000. They quoted us $20k for a replacement system. I have no idea how these prices compare to other service providers as we just bought the house in Sept and this is our first experience with an HVAC system. I was impressed with how knowledgeable the tech was and how quickly the problem was resolved. He had all the needed materials in his truck so no second visit was required.

Annual furnace service scheduled for today between 8 and noon. Received a text that tech was on his way (which is very helpful) and he arrived around 9. Service was completed with no issues found, always good news as we head into winter! Glad I can count on C& D and their excellent service.

Very nice and very professional. It was a great experience working with C&D. They got to my house as soon as they could and fixed my AC unit quickly and efficiently. They also took time to make sure it was working properly instead of rushing out. I am very happy and will be working them from now on.
