Home Services reviews in Hackensack, New Jersey

Edit: I was giving 5 stars because they did a good job on cleaning up my appliances the first time.

Now: Changed to 2 stars after using them 2 more times. The last time team changed and they left many stains on the floors.

I tried to communicate politely with Ryan (the owner), he first pretend to have 100% customer guarantees but suddenly saying it’s all because my problem and dishonesty?? I never asked their team to do duplicate work and treated them well with water and tips. I’m very regret using them and lucky to stop dealing with him. I posted screenshots because I don’t hear from them.

Do you know why there’s so many 5 stars reviews? Because he offered $50 amazon gift card to whoever does it… I don’t even received it.

Don’t trust him and find another cleaning service for your own good!

I had a fantastic experience with The Maids in East Bergen County! They deep cleaned my bathrooms perfectly, everything was spotless and felt brand new. Communication throughout the process was clear, and professional. On top of that, the cleaner was friendly and made the whole experience pleasant from start to finish. I’d absolutely recommend them and will definitely be using their services again!

Just finished up my first cleaning and was very satisfied. Management and the team were very professional and friendly. They really do make an effort to clean every inch of your living space. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a new cleaning service in Bergen County!

I recently hired The Maids, and I am beyond impressed with their service. Ryan, the owner, is an amazing person—very professional, reliable, and reasonable in pricing. His team of cleaners are top-notch! They perform a thorough deep cleaning, making my home look spotless, almost as if it’s brand new. The girls are not only very professional, but also friendly and attentive to every detail. They come fully prepared with high-quality, eco-friendly cleaning supplies, so I never have to worry about anything. From top to bottom, they take care of everything, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend Ryan and his amazing team for anyone in need of a professional and reliable cleaning service!

The team arrived on time and brought their equipment and products. They were courteous, responsible and respectful and got right to work upon entering my home. I reviewed a couple of areas to focus on and they exceeded my expectations, especially in the master bathroom shower. I highly recommend The Maids service.

I had a deep cleaning to my house by the maids they did the most amazing job. I have had other cleaning services for the same job but didn’t compare to what this service the maids did today. I give 10 stars

The team did a great job in taking care of our cleaning needs for our apartment. They did everything as asked and then some! Isabella was very meticulous and made sure everything was to my satisfaction before she left. Would recommend to anyone looking for maid service in Bergen County!

I used The Maids for both a move out cleaning and move in cleaning as I transitioned homes. The team was professional, clear about pricing and inclusions, timely and they welcomed feedback on site. All of the products are eco friendly and they’re conscious if you own a pet. Special thank you to Paola, Rosa, Elida and Andrea for helping to take one thing off our plates during that hectic moment. We will definitely use the service again!

Im beyond please by this service The Maids of East Bergen today . The team headed by Maria & her green team were dynamite, so pleasant and efficient, everything squeaky clean. I would highly recommend

Excellent customer service, superb cleaning. I needed a post construction deep cleaning service done before move in and Ryan and his team went above and beyond. I first requested a quote online, and Ryan got back to me super quick (on a weekend too) which was nice so that I can schedule right away. We also discussed which areas I was specifically looking to focus on prior to scheduling, he came himself to meet with me prior to cleaners coming. It was nice to actually have multiple conversations with the people in charge of coming into my home. His team arrived and did exactly what I asked, top to bottom (one of my concerns was the ceiling dust and I have high ceilings) for hours and after they were through we did a walk through of each room with the team lead and I couldnt be happier with the results. They also ensure at the walk through if you are happy with the result and if not then they go back and clean again on the spot. Ryan really works with you for your scheduling and cleaning needs and is available. It was my first time using them and I would call them back the next time I need cleaning done. Highly recommend!

I love their work! I reached out to The Maids to do a deep cleaning as I have been backed up with other work obligations I couldn't get to it myself. They did an amazing job with cleaning in detail. I asked them to help with other cleaning areas and they were more than happy to do it. I love to do my own cleaning however every three months or so I plan to have them back. Thank You again, the Maids. I appreciate your passion and work ethics.

Very easy to get services, great communication and very nice owner. They are very prompt in contacting you and making sure your needs are met, also very flexible. I got the deep cleaning service, I'm really glad they were able to clean the floor boards and some really hard to reach areas.
The four ladies that came were so sweet and lovely. You can tell they really care and are efficient. They behave work immediately after taking a tour of the home. Only took off a star cause a 1/2 things might have forgotten to be dusted but overall great service! This was my first time using a cleaning service and I would highly recommend. Would return !

To update my original review: We have been using The Maids in East Bergen regularly since May 2025, and we continue to be very pleased with the service. Due to our need to change our schedule from time-to-time, we have had both the blue and green three-person teams clean our apartment. Every service has been thorough, complete, and high quality. The special instructions I provided Ryan at his initial visit are familiar to the teams and followed every time. I highly recommend The Maids for apartment cleaning services here in Hackensack.

Let me first say that Ryan, the owner, is an absolutely amazing person💯!! He worked round my schedule to give my mom's house a much needed deep clean. His team was a group of wonderful people who were kind, respectful, thorough & expeditious. Everything is spotless and sparkling 🤩... even in little spaces we hadn't considered. True detailing!! They did a fantastic job, so we will be using their services each and everytime our lives might call for it. Abundant thanks to everyone. Mom is super happy & grateful!!🥰

Had a great experience it was my first time using this cleaning service. 4 maids showed up and finished the entire apartment in 2 hours. Definitely recommend.

Team Blue, what a team. They really work as a team, I had a spot on my glass door for the shower and among the four of them they worked as team to remove that spot. Excellent workers.
Thank you very much Team Blue and I look forward to continue working with Team Blue.

I had gone to a construction in my house and need cleaning service. I found in google The Maid. I contacted them and Ryan the owner came to my house for a walk thru, so I can get a quote. The owner was very polite and understood everything I needed to be done. I scheduled the service and The Maid came in. Two wonderful women very polite and educated left my house spotless. I was very satisfied with their service, both ladies make sure everything was clean by the time they left. What I liked the most was that as soon as they arrived they started cleaning for about 3 hours nonstop. I’m very satisfied and happy about
The Maid service. Highly recommended.
Love Maria 🌺

Paola and her team were professional, friendly and cleaned our home exceptionally. We are ready to move into it feeling like a fresh start with a freshly cleaned home. I would recommend them and will be using them again to clean my second unit.

I recently found The Maids while searching on line, and after speaking with Ryan and explaining my needs I felt relieved as it was apparent he understood my needs and what I was looking for in a cleaning service. The ladies where very polite and respectful, my bathrooms looked spotless after they were done, even my husband commented on it! I appreciated the level of time and attention to detail they put into their service and didn’t use scented products to make my home smell pretty. It actually looked cleaner than they arrived. I will absolutely schedule another appointment and will definitely do a follow up review.

We got the cleaning service of The Maids & they did a good job, all the team members were very professional. There was part of the house they forgot, but after I talk with the owner they included that part as well. In general it’s a great service & I recommend it.

The Green team did an amazing job! They were pleasant and very efficient. I will definitely use their services again. Highly recommended!
