This company would get a ZERO star review but they make you give at least one star in order to post the review! We had a home water softener issue and needed a plumber who had experience working on NOVO products. We found that Muccia Plumbing was listed as a company who has worked with NOVO products so we scheduled a service call. We were advised that it would cost $90 (service fee) for them to just come to my house. We were also advised that the plumber would then try to figure out what the issue is and let us know what needs to be done along with what it would cost to do it. This was supposed to be relayed to us before the work was done. Omar was the plumber who was very polite. He looked at the water softener and explained that he is not sure what the problem is and that he would first have to drain the tank and see if it's clogged. If it is clogged he would unclog it and see if the system works properly. When asked what that would cost, his response was let me first see if that's the issue, because it may be something more than just being clogged. He then drained the system with a water pump (with my assistance) which took 5 mins to drain. He then brought the container which weighs about 5lbs to my front lawn and used a water hose to spray the inside of the tank clean. He then used my cleaner and sponge to clean the inside of the tank before bringing it back into my house and reconnecting it. Which again was a simple task with NO tools needed. Nothing mechanical or electrical was wrong with the product, it turns out it just needed to be unclogged with a water hose and cleaner. Everything worked fine once he was done. He was there for 1 hour and charged me $350. That's $90 for the service fee and $260 for one hour of work including taxes, which consisted of mostly talking to me about the product and then rinsing it out. The average plumber in Northern NJ gets anywhere from $45 to $150 per hour depending on the job. In this case there was no hard manual labor involved at all and they were paid double of the highest average rate. Omar said he needed to get to his next service call and that if I have an issue with the price that I can call the office. So I paid him the full price so that he can go to his next job. My wife then called the office and they said they'd get back to us. They called my wife today and said there's nothing they can do. They sent several emails asking us to give them a Google Review, so here it is! Very poor customer service and a way over priced company. I do NOT recommend them to anyone at all! Very Unprofessional! Lesson learned!

Omar did a great job, came through in a pinch and fixed an issue that was not only a problem for me, but at least one other apartment in the building with his handywork. He was professional and thorough and gave the attention required in proportion to the issue. I appreciated his practical and no-nonsense, brass-tacks attitude.

Expensive $375.00, I paid cash to avoid taxes and / or 3% credit card charges. However, Mark & Kenny got the plumbing job done (replaced 2 water valves). Removed bathroom vanity without damage and cleaned up upon completion. I would recommend Muccia Plumging of Hackensack, NJ.

Omar Garcia repaired the trap in my brother-in-law’s 1929 bathroom, doing a clean and honest job. Later, we called Muccia Plumbing again to replace two toilets. Omar and his helper Elvis arrived on time and spent 45 minutes explaining our options and risks before starting. The first toilet was installed perfectly, with no surprise fees, and Omar will return to finish the second. I highly recommend requesting Omar and Elvis for plumbing work.

Nothing is inexpensive these days, but I always have the secure feeling we've been well taken care of when Muccia Plumbing comes and checks out whatever issues we have. This time it was a strange one: A few nights ago, out of the blue, we started hearing what sounded like a jackhammer rumbling in our basement, drilling down into the cement floor. Because it was so late, we called the police, who sent the fire department. They found the culprit: a basement toilet that wasn't filling properly. After turning it off, they told us to call our plumber. Muccia showed up and fixed it--something called the flapper needed to be replaced. Problem solved.

The technicians that worked on the job were punctual, personable and top quality professionals who did an excellent job. Everyone I communicated with at the company’s office provided outstanding service. I highly recommend this company.

Muccia's Plumbing was incredibly responsive. Kenny was knowledgeable and professional, able to troubleshoot our heating problem and have it fixed in the same visit. On the dreariest day of the year, with grandbabies on the way his expertise was greatly appreciated.
