Overpriced with rude service. Ahmad charged me $529 for a simple toilet valve replacement. I bought the part myself and all he had to do was install it which took all but 15 mins to do. He didn’t take credit cards without a 7% extra fee. Only Zelle to him direct and wanted payment up-front (which I didn’t agree to). Overall just shady.

The cost of the unit and labor was fair, and I scheduled a time for them to come out and do the installation the next week. For the following two days, the building elevator was out of action, and during that time, Hackensack Plumbing called to check on the status of the repair. When it had, they arrived and finished the assignment. Despite the fact that the replacement hot water heater was delivered the same day, the original unit tragically died two days earlier than anticipated. Nevertheless, they managed to meet their deadline. Their promptness and willingness to go above and above really impressed me. I highly recommend this team.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will absolutely rob you blind if you aren’t privy to plumbing. They charged over $1000.00 for less than an hour of labor and the parts were around $70. Complete rip off! A complaint to the board of master plumbers will follow.

We needed two toilets checked. One needed servicing; the other just needed jiggling. He did both, and charged fairly. He suggested other servicemen I should call for other (non-plumbing related) he saw. I felt I was in very good hands!
