Plumbing reviews in Hackensack, New Jersey

Sammy came at night when I had an unexpected leaking problem. He fixed the problem at a great price and was extremely professional and communicative. Would absolutely recommend

Great company for your plumbing issues. Fast, professional, affordable, they know what they're doing. Sam is a great skillful plumber, extensive knowledge of the business. He is my plumber and I am not switching any time soon.

I normally don’t post any reviews but I must say, out of all the plumbers I’ve dealt with in the past, this company is amazing. They are easy to deal with, very fair with pricing and are very attentive to their clients. If anyone is ever looking to get work done, I highly recommend these guys at Mains and Drains plumbing & heating.

After calling two other plumbing companies that never showed up, I contacted Main & Drains and within 30 minutes after my call, I had one of their plumbers at my door. They sent over Sam who was very professional, knowledgeable and did a great job in explaining and resolving our plumbing issue. The price they charged was also less than the two other quotes I had received. It’s hard to find reputable plumbing company so I’m glad we were able to find this company. I highly recommend them based on my experience.

Sammy is a very nice and cool guy and gets the job done well. I have called him for multiple occasions and he is my go-to guy for plumbing and heating. He cares for his customers and I recommend his services.

Sammy came in the middle of the night when I had a toilet backup. Thank goodness he fixed the problem promptly. He's a great guy and excellent worker. Came another time and replaced a toilet. Worked effortlessly and left bathroom clean. Thank you Sammy!

Sammy is a smart and knowledgeable plumber. He solved my issue in 20 mins, which could otherwise turn into a big repair, saving me a lot money. Recommend to all my friends and families.

You can count on Mains and drains plumbing to take care of your plumbing needs. Sammy is responsible, prompt, and does a great job. I would recommend his work to anyone. A++++++

Man when I tell you I needed a miracle on the spot, and the Plumbing Gods answered, that’s my guy Sammy for you! A real down to earth and authentic guy. He replaced my steam heat pipe on the same day I called. I was facing a very cold winter morning with no heat because of the leak in the steam pipe. Sammy solved the issue asap. The heat in my home is now hotter than ever. Very reasonable price. He didn’t over charge like several others I called in the surrounding area. Their estimates were high and all said No to me because it was a weekend. Sammy understood the situation and handled it. Very clean worker may I add, that’s always extra points in my experience of plumbers.

Sammie showed up within an hour of my initial call. He assessed the problem and fixed it right away at a very reasonable price. He is very professional and friendly. I will definitely use Mains and Drains again!

Sammie was beyond professional and personable. Will continue to call him and his company for any plumbing needs or concerns. Did not leave until problem was solved and clean up was done. Not to mention he came within a few hours of my call. Great work!

Sammy was great. I called in the middle of the night and he assured me that he would be at my location first thing in the morning. Very professional and knowledgeable. Even better was when he called his colleague Yusef to help with the job and they got the job done. Great service and wonderful advice. Out of all the plumbing services I called he was the ONLY ONE who gave advice on how to stop what was happening. I’m referring this company each and every time.

In need of a plumber? Look no further, Sammy is your guy and the man for the job! Not only is he an absolute professional but probably the most genuine and down-to-earth dude I've come across for any services I've needed for my home. Sammy took his time to understand my situation when I first called and gave me 3 possible solutions along with cost breakdown for each scenario. When he got here, he assessed the situation and was able to figure out where the main backup issue was originating from and quickly got to work. He fixed it in no time and it didn't cost me an arm and leg! Not only did he fix the issue but was awesome enough to walk me through some preventative measures in order to avoid future problems, something other plumbers would keep to themselves so that they could keep coming back. Don't hesitate to give Sammy a call today!

Sammy has done plumbing work at my house several times. He appears to be an honest person and a skilled plumber, who offers good prices. I feel I can rely on him to do an excellent plumbing job every time.

I spoke to Sammy and he scheduled a quick visit, the day of, to do an estimate for my HVAC condensation lines. He was back out the following morning, on time, got the job finished quickly and professionally. I really appreciate Sammy's customer service and his promptness. He's sure to have my business for the next service needs!

I highly recommend for all your plumbing and heating needs. Extremely efficient and very thorough. Prices were great. Sammy was a pleasure to interact with and was very upfront and clear with what needed to be done. Job was done in one day and looks fantastic.

Big Shout Out to Sammy!! He was a huge help as another plumber previously quoted us a huge amount of money for something that wasn't even the problem. Sammy was able to fix my heating issue within minutes. Very reliable and reasonable🙌🏼🙌🏼

Excellent service! We had a frustrating issue with our basement slop sink backing up with food. I called Sam and was incredibly impressed by his speed as he was at our house within a few hours. He quickly fixed the problem and importantly, offered practical suggestions to help prevent it from happening again. Highly recommend Sam for his prompt and effective assistance.

Sam was Thoural, instructive, and a job well done. I will certainly refer Main and Drain to others. ( Which I already text their number to my neighbors if they should ever need a plumber.)

**Boiler Emergency**

Recently, in this wave of really cold below 0 climate, Boiler stopped working due to a gas valve, according to PSEG. Repair was estimated to take few days to get part and repair.

I immediately called Sammy, who answered and responded right away. During repair, he found the part and troubleshot problem. It turned out it wasn’t the gas valve but another part of boiler. NOT THE PIECE PSEG ASSURED ME WAS THE PROBLEM! He the found the right parts , however difficult, and got my boiler up and running. Great problem solving, response time, communication, and overall service. Will Recommend Sammy to family and friends! Thank you! - Diana & Dario

Sammy is the last honest man in plumbing. After having a bigger company come over to fix a running toilet, it broke again in a couple of weeks. They couldn't come out that do so Sammy was the man to the rescue. He found the problem was incompatible parts for the toilet. Sammy is fairly priced and I had him fix a second plumbing issue while he was here. So glad we found him!
