Very disappointed in this company - They refused to go to a long time customers home that was without heat on a 20 degree day because they had a few hundred dollar balance owed. No respect for a loyal customer, now a former customer.

Amazing response, quote for new boiler in a few hours,Rob & installation guys were great, worked till 9:30 Pm to make sure I had heat, office girls very respectful and professional

Out bathroom sink had a stubborn blockage. They came and unblocked the sink and replaced a part which had eroded over time. The men were very professional and courteous. The sink is draining perfectly.

Kyle Burns came to my grandfathers house after the boiler stopped working and worked overtime to get it done before the weekend so my grandfather would have working heat for cold weekend ahead. Couldn’t recommend this company more!

Did winter maintenance on my furnace. Their so called service ended up breaking some parts. Charged me full price for the winter maintenance and $600 for the repair. When I asked for some consideration on the pricing they said, "We did the work, what do you want from us." I would have called in another plumber in to do the repair, but it was a freezing cold night and I had young children in the house. Don't use these guys.

This firm was hired by my General Contractor to complete rough and finish plumbing. Although the firm sent a professional career plumber, numerous mistakes were made. No attention to details...plumbing placed on exterior wall without insulation, hot and cold lines crossed in one shower, NO hot water in second shower, plumbing not laid out to fit inside sink vanities even though they were on site for measurements at all times, failed inspections delaying job for failure to add drain for washer/dryer. I could go on and on...owner never returned calls to address issues.

We have lived in Hackensack forever. My husband and his family always called you when they had a problem. We had a problem last night and the toilet had to be snaked which didn't take long. I have always thought that the young men you have working for you are personable and do a great job and you answer calls immediately. However, after all this time, I think that you should give seniors a discount; don't understand why you have started to charge "tax" for a service but you are not purchasing anything to warrant a tax?? Sorry to say that you are getting so expensive and after hours it is even more expensive. It shouldn't be like that for something that didn't take long at all. I could see if it took hours to fix but it didn't. My husband and his family have been loyal to you all these years. We are presently renters and our landlord has already told us that he will not pay for someone to come and plunge or snake a toilet for that amount of money so the cost falls on us in an apartment built back in the 80's in Hackensack and we can't do anything about fixing those pipes. The landlord also will not pay for a high cost toilet such as a Toto which is probably much better with the water pressure. Seniors are on a budget and so I think it would be really nice if you gave them a break. I didn't say that we would stop using you but it might be time to do something nice for the community you serve.

Thumbs Up on both hands for their outstanding work on our property main intake shut-off valve replacement. They went above and beyond with the difficult task of coordinating with the water company to replace a broken main intake shut-off valve in our building. The water company had to replace the water meter and shut-off the main sidewalk valve from the street. It took more than couple of trips for the water company to replace the water meter and turn the water back on for the entire property. It took enormous effort and patiences on the part of Wickersheim & Sons to complete the work from beginning to end. It was their decades of professional experience that played a major role on W & S plumber's part to succeed. The owner, Mr. Wickersheim, came in person to oversee the project to make sure it would get completed in a timely manner with the least amount of problems. Thank goodness that we do not have to worry about replacing the water meter for another 7-8 years, at least.
We are so very grateful for all the hard work and effort by W & S plumbing. They are our go to plumbing company for the entire property.

** HIGHLY RECOMMEND ** - I was referred to Wickersheim for an electrical problem with my boiler that was difficult to diagnose. Rob showed up on time, was extremely professional and found and fixed the problem quickly. On top of that, the cost was more than fair and reasonable! Great company...

I have been a loyal customer for 20 years, but Wickersheim recently charged me for an incomplete job and problems that they created. Our water heater needed to be replaced. In replacing it, Wickersheim removed a water softener unit that THEY had previously placed too close to the water heater. They replaced the water heater but left the water softener offline because it needed a couple of gaskets that they did not have. I offered to get the gaskets if they would reinstall the softener. They have not responded to my requests to do so. They have cost me at least a couple of hundred dollars for their mistake, and the owner doesn't even return my phone calls. Very disappointing after all of these years.

Just want to say thank-you. After spending so much money on other plumbers, who could not do the job, and kept coming back saying we would have to remove the tiles and pull the sink from the wall, just to unclog a bathroom sink. This would cost a fortune. Well Wickersheim & Sons earn ten stars, not only fixing my bathroom sink, which no others could, they also fixed the my bathroom tub, which started backing up. I would highly recommend Wickersheim&Sons to everyone. A very satisfied customer.

Before you decide on the services of this company, I want to give a few tips:
ask how much an hour of work costs, what does this time include, request a complete report on the purchase and cost of additional equipment
Do not pay the service fee if you do not agree with the price indicated for payment. Then you will not have the problems that we received.
There was a complete silence of the cost before the work and a disproportionate amount of the field for it. No receipts for purchases were provided, the cost of the work was refused to be recalculated.

Friendly, experienced, third generation family run local plumbing contractor. They do excellent work, and provide significant value to your home. Their business administration could use some streamlining and updated for a better client experience, but that is the only area of improvement needed. Highly recommend to all in the area.

Dependable and reliable. Called in with a gas supply line valve leak - had repair on site right away. Reasonably priced and the whole team from the office staff to the field tradesmen are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. In an emergency, these are the guys you want!!

Wickersheim installed the gas line for my fireplace and I am extremely happy with them. Their pricing was fair, they are attentive, clean, and professional. Kyle did the work and I've never seen a happier contractor! It was a pleasure working with them.

Very Simple. When something in the house breaks, the first thing I think of is complicated and expensive. A friend of mine has used Wickersheim before and said they were easy to work with and fast so I had to try it out. Honestly I’m not someone easily impressed but I was very happy with how fast they scheduled me and fixed my problem. Thank you again!!!
