they're very good and fast. come in teams of 2/3. they don't come the same time every day though. but are always done in 1-2 hrs.

WARNING.....DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! THEY WERE NICE OVER THE PHONE, SENT 2 GIRLS TO DO A FIRST TIME CLEANING. 4 HOURS LATER, BARELY A THING WAS DONE. AFTER ARGUING WITH THE CLEANERS THAT THINGS WERE NOT CLEAN AND THEM SAYING "YES, CLEAN", I CALLED THE OWNER TO COMPLAIN. THE CLEANERS WERE INSTRUCTED TO LEAVE BY THE OWNER AND I WAS CHARGED $600 FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. HAD TO DO EVERYTHING AGAIN MYSELF. THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE ABSOLUTELY TRUE. I MADE THE MISTAKE AND DIDNT LISTEN. IF YOU USE THIS SERVICE, YOU'LL REGRET IT.

Do yourself a favor and keep searching for a maid service. I was on the every 2 week program. Poor service from the manager Gina and the ladies that came to the house. Not worth the $$. Don’t be fooled….find a cleaning person from a referral instead of google.

From booking the appointment to the day of cleaning everything went perfectly. I needed a vacant home cleaned after moving and they made it sparkle like new. I am so glad I chose Merry Maids of Bergen county.

They charged me $300 and did nothing. I hired them to clean an empty prior to my move-in. I found hair in the master tub, a urine ring in the toilet, debris on the hardwood floors, and my feet turned black while I walked around the hardwood floors two days after I moved in. They offered to return and clean again, but I cancelled because they were just going to do nothing again. Huge waste of money, and I regret ever securing their business.

So far I have had the first cleaning which includes washing the interior windows, sills, cleaning the oven interior and refrigerator interior. The women do not just dust around objects on tables; they actually pick them up and dust underneath them. It is worth the cost. I am looking forward to the "Merry Maids' next visit very much.

This is the most horrible service, especially the office manager Gina. They show up to my house over 20 minutes late to clean and her excuse is that she called. I prove to the cleaners here no calls and still she continues to lie. Careful also the $75 deposit non refundable so you are stuck with them.
Get better, more trustworthy people to clean.

I am very disappointed with Merry Maids. First they overcharged us by half an hour, even though I was in the home and told them the exact hours they were here. They only refunded us for 15 if the extra 30 minutes.
After they left we discovered a $50 gift card that had been on my nightstand was missing. When we called to report this concern, they yelled at us saying it was impossible and without proof they won’t do anything about it.
We got this cleaning service as a splurge before the arrival of a new baby, and have been wildly disappointed by the dishonesty and poor customer service shown.

Yes, I will agree they are professional via phone which is what baited me, but its not worth the money- they charged $525 after I asked to cap at 3 hours of a cleaning in my contract ($375 for one floor of my house- 4 small bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) and then continued to make excuses afterwards for why they had go over even though contract stipulated stop at 3 hours. When I called to look at the contract, they offered no recompense. I’m pretty sure all these other awesome reviews are fake. You can get a much better value with independent cleaners, go elsewhere.
