Reviews of local pros in Hackensack, New Jersey

Great company! I contacted them to schedule a cleaning and got a response right away. They were able to schedule it the next day at a good price. The cleaning crew was on time and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend!

We were so satisfied with the deep cleaning job was done so wonderful. Myself and my local real estate agent was so impressed and she asked me where I had the job done. It is "The Maids in East Bergen County". We really like the job and appreciate the splendid cleaning.

Paola and her team blue are amazing. They are very friendly and really get the job done at our house. They are all thorough in their cleaning and I’m always left feeling satisfied with the service. Thank you so much ladies!

Only leaving 5 starts because I can’t leave 6.

I’ve had the house for years since I inherited it and haven’t given it a proper deep clean. My wife and I left for a week on holiday and I had The Maids come to do a clean to surprise her for when we got home. They did such a good job it literally brought tears to her eyes (for real).

Every surface, every appliance (inside and out), every floor molding, every window, all the dog hair all the dust and on and on and on. There was not a single “ah I wish they had done that” spot in the house. Not one. What a Christmas present to come to!

Highly recommend!

Claudia and Paola arrived exactly on time, did a thorough cleaning and managed to rid the place of a mountain of dust, and left the place sparkling and smudge-free. They even cleaned the windows, which I had not expected. They were pleasant and professional and made the place a lot more pleasant than it was in its dusty recent past. Highlight recommended!

We hired cleaning service from The Maids earlier today and we were really impressed by their punctuality , professional attitude, diligent work ethics & hard work to deliver a thoroughly clean, shining house in scheduled time. The owner Ryan Kerlew is very pleasant and wonderful to work with. We will continue to use this service. Highly recommend!! :)

I am very happy with the results! The team did a great job with doing a thorough cleaning of my home. They were professional, polite and did not rush through the job. I will continue to use their services.

Recently I had the pleasure of working with The Maids in East Bergen. Ryan, the owner, was fantastic to deal with from the initial call through the completion of the work, and maintained excellent communication throughout. He provided a very reasonable quote, and his wonderful team arrived on time, and did a superb job. I highly recommend Maids of East Bergen for any cleaning needs.

I’ve been using The Maids for about 6 months, and they always deliver! All of the ladies are amazing, but I especially love requesting Paola and her team. I always look forward to their monthly visits. I truly appreciate their attention to detail and how friendly they are. Ryan, the owner, is always responsive and a great communicator as well.

Gloria and her team did an amazing job, everything was spotless. Their attention to detail was outstanding. Gloria was so kind, and the entire team was attentive, respectful, and professional throughout the visit. They answer my questions in detail regarding my concerns with using certain cleaning products around pets, which they seem knowledgeable on the matter and I really appreciated them requesting a walk-through at the end to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend their services!

I had requested a last minute deep cleaning of my apartment before I give birth and the Maids came in and did a fantastic job!! We have a dog that sheds like crazy and couldn’t find any dog hair left behind! Thank you for helping get my apartment sparkling and ready to bring a newborn into it 🙂

We needed help after a ceiling leak, combined with our regular cleaning person being unavailable due to illness. Ryan came to assess the job and took detailed notes. He was responsive, organized, and easy to work with.

He arranged for Kerrie to come on short notice, even on a Sunday, which we really appreciated given the circumstances. Kerrie was pleasant, professional and hard working. Communication was clear, and she struck a good balance between asking clarifying questions and working independently.

We were very pleased with this experience and would recommend this service.

The Maids at East Bergen County came to clean my home today, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. There’s something incredibly refreshing about walking into a spotless home and that’s exactly what I got. My apartment feels clean, light, and peaceful. It genuinely makes my soul happy.

I live in a 1,100 sq. ft. apartment, work full-time, and I’m a single parent. While I stay on top of the bathroom, dusting, sweeping, and mopping are not my favorite tasks especially since the natural sunlight in my home makes every speck of dust visible. It can be a lot to manage.

Rosa and another team member (whose name I didn’t catch) were great, professional, efficient, and thorough. They were kind and respectful, and they left my place looking and feeling amazing.

Hiring someone to clean my home isn’t a luxury, it’s an investment in my well-being and peace of mind. Honestly, I’d rather spend money on this than on expensive handbags or shoes.

If you’re on the fence, take this as your sign. Call Ryan and book the appointment, you won’t regret it!

Exceptional Service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Maids were absolutely fantastic!

Ryan’s communication was excellent from booking to completion.

The team was friendly, professional, and did an incredible deep clean of our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (plus loft), apartment. Every surface was spotless—bathrooms sparkling, kitchen gleaming—they didn’t miss a single corner!

The Green Team were respectful, efficient, and thorough. Highly recommended (as we’ve already scheduled recurring cleanings)!

Muchas gracias, Ryan y Equipo Verde!

Tiffany, Rosa, and Melida did an incredible job on our move-in cleaning. The house truly felt fresh and ready for us from the moment we walked in. They were thorough, efficient, and paid attention to details that are easy to miss. Every surface was spotless, the floors looked great, and everything felt sanitized and well cared for. Beyond the quality of their work, they were professional and friendly. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a deep or move-in clean.

Kylie and her team Claudia and Paola “the blue team” did a fabulous job today with the deep cleaning of my house! They left rooms cleaner than I can ever recall them being. I had stubborn tape marks on my fridge that they were able to get off and they left my bathtubs spotless. They were able to complete one floor at a time which really helped as I could keep my pets in the patio until they finished. Their products are eco friendly which also eased my mind. Kylie is extremely friendly and energetic.
Ryan the owner, a fellow perfectionist, ensures you know exactly what to expect! He adds detailed notes to the visit, and is extremely friendly and passionate about his business.
