I had a pleasure of meeting "No Fear Tree Service" couldn't be happier with the job they did by removing a 109 year old walnut tree that was uprooted job well done soup to nuts...they are best in the business and they are very reasonable.

My town recently used this company to remove trees as part of a townwide project. The workers were extremely aggressive, rude, and unprofessional. One worker, possibly the foreman, even flipped off a 71 year old female resident, while she was trying to return to her home. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I reached out to 5 arborists. Downes was, by far, the best. They quickly, and efficiently, treated my trees and they have been in contact with Rutgers Univ. to seek a final solution to this problem.

Downe's is great. They removed branches from a couple of trees around my property. They always are careful of the various decorations around the house and always clean up afterwards

Had several dead trees overhanging our home and they were extremely efficient and helpful in clearing them out for us. No headaches and friendly service! Would definitely use again.

WARNING do not use this company. After damaging my vehicle with their equipment they denied doing the damage and refused to pay. Body shop work cost me upwards of $1800 to repair. Attempted to reach their insurance company which is as crooked as they are. BEWARE there is a reason they have so many poor reviews. This company should be shut down. Also watch out for their trucks, they do not follow DOT regulations. If you're DOT and reading this their DOT # is 1520448

They piled 3 feet of snow from the road in front of my driveway and blocked my house. Inconsiderate people. Don't have common sense that they should not block driveway when they plow. My car got stuck over the snow they left. I almost had a heart attack cleaning the snow at midnight! Don't ever use them

Downes removed one tree and one that fell over. They cut back all our other trees. A week later came back to grind the stumps. They were very professional and did everything we need to a reasonable price. They clean after everything.

these people are extremely inconsiderate .
they are over priced for absolutely no reason and very rude . they claim that they want to help and accommodate everyone but they really only care about getting payed . all they have to do is cut some branches down and yet somehow they end up breaking stuff on my property and my property is not even the one being worked on . I suggest you don't waste your time nor money on these inconsiderate people. very rude workers and even more rude operators . .. I would give it no stars but in order to give u this advice I must pick a star -.-

Downes Tree Service was very professional and helpful, from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Very inconsiderate. Neighbors on the block used them. Had so much debris and dust on our cars. Company blamed residents for not moving cars when they hear a chainsaw. Workers claimed they notified residents to move cars. They did not. Peter Slump of company claims it's not his problem what his workers tell people. Man takes no responsibility for anything, including the actions of his own workers. No apology or any remorse shown to the residents of May Street. Shame on you Peter Slump and your lying workers who disrespect the beautiful town of Hawthorne!

Wanted to try them so I gave them a simple job of deep root fertilizer on my trees. Got the quote and I said ok. A month pasted I heard nothing from them. So I thought to myself I'm not gonna pursue business with a company that just doesn't show up. A month later I get a 60 day late payment notice from them. They never left flags or notice on my door when the service was done. Clerk told me "I have to take the word of my service techs." Really I'm just suppose to trust you on the honor system. No thanks, I'll give them the money, small fee to end years of head aches.

Woman on the phone said they would come over on a Thursday, 4 weeks ago for an estimate and I didn't need to be there. They never even showed up or called me to explain why. NO estimate NO phone call! Must be good to be in the tree trimming business as they obviously could care less about new customers.

I also wanted to let you know how happy everyone was with the work performed and the professionalism of your team. All the crew that were here really went above and beyond to make everything look great. Veronica did a fantastic job of coordinating the job as well.

I’m just sorry a 5 is as high as I can rate them. How people could have them down to a 3.9 is beyond me, they hit it out of the park on every mark I could think of. Jason is very fairly priced and is highly knowledgeable in every phase of his craft. All his crew as well as his partner John are just as friendly as anyone you would want to meet PS John is his dad great family business

We hired DTS to clear out a long neglected yard (tree pruning & removal) & everyone we worked with throughout the project was professional, provided great advice and was prompt in responding to questions and scheduling needs. We absolutely will use them again!

They are the worst. First of all I took days off from work for the person to never show up to give me an estimate. And second once I call the company to get the job done. They never called to notify me when they were coming so they just show up at my home without anyone being there. My husband was leaving for work and he had to send them away. The person contacted me and gave me an attitude telling me " we are costing them money" he did not let me explain nor he wanted to listen that no one was home. I suggest everyone to not use them.
