Rod is a well rounded professional! We are in the process of completely renovating a house we just purchased. Rod was extremely knowledgeable in all areas of my home. He has professional experience in plumbing, electric, construction, and much more so he was able to give recommendations on the best way to proceed. He showed up when he said he would show up and left the space cleaner and in better condition than when he arrived, something I’ve found is hard to come by. The projects went according to schedule and he communicated every step of the way. Fair prices for the work being completed. I will be working with him on most of my projects moving forward and would recommend him to people I know! 5 stars!

This was my first time doing renovations on my own which was very nerve wrecking for me. Rodrigo constantly kept in contact with me and gave me honest and helpful advice on my home which was very helpful throughout the process. Im new to the area and cold called Rodrigo in need of a timely fix for a leak in my wall that my plumber wasn’t able to access. He came by the same day and located the issue precisely and quickly. He connected me with his own plumber and coordinated a fix. He got me all patched up and good as new within a couple days. He was honest, reasonably priced and a great communicator.

The experience was so good, we immediately had him come back to address a couple other issues in the house that we had been meaning to take care of.

I’ve been wanting to post for a bit but life just gets in the way. Let me start by saying that I found the go to company for constructions projects. Rod is the most professional, responsive and punctual person I’ve dealt with. He recently remodeled my kitchen. This was not a easy project, I had a vision for an open floor concept and Rod delivered. I do have to say that I have never dealt with someone that went above and beyond like he did. Materials are at a high right now, and Rod made sure he always got me the best but most cost effective. I had the best experience with Rod, and highly recommend his work. When my wife and I bought our current house, one of the things we agreed on most was just how much we hated our basement. It was already 'finished', but almost every corner of it screamed DIY hack job from thirty years ago. Yellow paneling, exposed wires, exposed duct work, ect. Every few months my wife and I would stand in the basement and talk about what our 'dream room' would look like.

When we were ready to make our dream a reality, we reached out to a few companies for estimates. We decided to go with Rod because his pricing was very competitive and we appreciated how communicative he was about the project.

Renovating almost 900 square feet of basement space that included demoing a twenty foot long cinderblock wall, duct work, plumbing, electrical, uneven floors, uneven walls was not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination. Rod navigated all of those challenges like an expert craftsman, and I think the end project (pictures attached) speak for themselves.

To make matters even better, not once during this almost two month long project did Rod ever try to upcharge us on something. I am all to familiar with contractors starting a project and then claiming they ran into a problem and as a result will need more money.

Rod is an excellent contractor that knows what he's doing. You can't go wrong with Firmino Construction. Whenever I get anything done on my house from now on, Rod will be the first person I call.

Rodrigo and his crew remodeled my staircase in September 2025. They took an narrow, steep staircase and transformed it into a stunning centerpiece of my home. I'm telling you, it looks like a brand new house. Rodrigo was always available to answer any questions I had. He even took the time on his day off to come over and explain exactly what was happening. He was a pleasure to deal with and met my expectations and beyond. I will definitely be using him again for any other projects that I need. I highly recommend.
