Constraction reviews in Keyport, New Jersey

We used Sam to renovate many areas of our newly purchased home, including bathrooms, flooring, bedrooms, dining room and living room paneling and the list goes on. This team was very detail oriented, thought the project through and very patient! It was a pleasure to work with Sam. Definitely will be using this team in the future.

Sam's Construction & Renovation, LLC is professional, trustworthy, and reliable. The results of the work will leave you feeling accomplished and convinced that you picked the right team for the job. In order to reduce the job costs, the demolition portion of our project we tackled with our families support. However, Sam did provide emails with picture guidance so it always felt that we worked collaboratively. 3D rendering images were provided with our initial consultation this was very helpful. In addition, photo updates were provided by Sam throughout the whole process of the project which filled us with so much joy. Sam, the owner, was always available via email, phone, and text. When he said he would call, he would. When he said he needed to reschedule, he would keep his word and make sure the task was completed. Many times the one-on-one attention made us say, "Wow, we feel like we are his favorite clients!" Having a contractor share with you these words is a good sign, "if you do what you love, you never work a day in your life." His vendors and team were very loyal and worked cohesively. They did clean up after their messes too. We had a large kitchen and home remodeling project. The entire house received electrical LED lights installation on 2nd floor. Hardwood floors were stained down to the 1st floor. New hardwood floors were installed in the entire kitchen. The kitchen weight-bearing wall was removed and a 22ft support beam was installed and a 5ft kitchen island was created. The kitchen Fabuwood cabinents were installed with gorgeous granite countertops and marble backsplash tile. The modern appliances were installed with modern electrical work up to standards which the outdated 1957s house needed. All light fixtures were installed and mounted. Overall, the scope of work was extensive but Sam's Construction & Renovation LLC pulled it off!

I contacted Sam at the end of March 2020 in a nasty situation facing the covid 19 shut down and an incomplete and unusable kitchen. Sam took on our project and even improved on the overall kitchen design itself. He treated us with such kindness and professionalism during a very uncertain time when our old contractor abandoned us. He was in constant contact with us, giving us updates on progress and finished the entire job earlier than expected. The end result was a beautiful kitchen that exceeded our expectations. He also wound up doing additional work in our attic which left us more than pleased. We are so happy that we found him and will continue to use him for our home projects in the future.

We used Sam's company for a commercial renovation in Freehold Boro. The job was not easy, but they got it done and worked well with my architect and the towns building department to ensure that we passed all our permits. Sam also brought fresh ideas and was easily adaptive when the scope of the job changed halfway through (more than once)! Will use them again.

We had a new exterior door as well as closet doors we needed installed. I reached out to a few places but Samer's response to my inquiry made me go with his company. He asked a ton of questions to make sure we were on the same page. I knew this would mean I would get what I wanted out of the job and I also knew I wouldn't get any surprises with the cost. I appreciated how thorough and responsive he was before the job even started. Come installation day, he was there first thing in the morning. There were last minute changes that were handled with ease and even an unexpected light installation. Both doors look awesome. We have more work that needs to be done and we will 100% user Samer in the future. I highly suggest you do the same if you are looking for reliable, good work to be done in your home.

Sam and his team were a pleasure to work with. He quickly responded to our request to repair drywall and paint a few rooms due to water damage and worked closely with us along the way. His team finished the job in a timely manner, were very neat, kept all dust and mess confined to work areas, cleaned up and put some of our stuff away. Highly recommend for a very professional and well done job.

We used Sam and his crew extensively to renovate our home in Summit and he has stood behind his work for years afterward. He has been fair, responsive, and reliable. Not being my first renovation I can say unequivocally he provides great quality for below-market prices. I'd recommend him highly.

It was a pleasure working with Sam’s Construction & Renovation, LLC. They completely renovated our garage and laundry room. They re-ran all our plumbing and electrical, framed and put up drywall, and finished and painted them beautifully. They also put in a tile floor and backsplash in the laundry room. Sam was a great sounding board for my vision and they were able to make my dream a reality. I am thrilled with the finished product and very pleased with Sam and the quality work that he and his team provided.

Sam's team was on time, polite, and did great work. What I love most is their willingness to tackle small or big projects.

Working with Sams construction was a life saver. They took over a house renovation project after another company bailed. Not only were they able to do the job at a more reasonable price, they were extremely fast and thorough. Sam proved to be very knowledgeable in the field and was able to point out major flaws from the old GC’s kitchen design. Sam worked with us every step of the way, went above and beyond with workmanship, and couldn’t have left us happier.

Sam and his team are the best you can ever find if you are looking to build or remodel your your home or business. Ethical, honest and professional are the first three words that come to mind when mentioning Sam and his team to anyone. If your looking for the best of the best to complete a job then they are the team you need to reach out to. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone! They are simply the best of the best.

We hired Sam's team for a remodeling project at home, and they did an amazing job! By far the best contractor we have ever hired! Best one hands down. They were very professional, attentive to details, and were able to complete the job before the deadline. Their professionalism and punctuality, coupled with the high quality of work, turned them into our only go to contractor! H&Z

How can we keep this review short??? If there was an option to leave greater than 5 🌟 I would. Sam and his team are FANTASTIC!!! What more can you ask from a contractor?? Competent, Creative, Reliable, and punctual and attentive to details! I have used Sam's Construction for two separate large renovation projects at Brunswick Family Dental and Implant Center and for adding a bathroom in my basement at my home. I needed to close the office for the shortest amount of time to have the renovation completed and Sam assured me it would be completed on time. He delivers MORE than what he promises! I am glad we went with SAM'S CONSTRUCTION! If you would like to see Sam's work first hand, Stop by our office!!!!!

We hired Sam and his team in 2019 to help us renovate our forever home in Brooklyn. We bought a house that was built in 1925 and it hadn't had much updating done since the 1950s. He saw our vision for a top-to-bottom gut renovation, guided us in design and planning, and then executed at the highest level. We have loved living in this house and were truly blessed to have been connected to Sam. You always hear these horrible stories about contractors who overcharge and under-deliver; you also hear about contractors who disappear or are non-responsive to their clients. Sam could not be more the opposite; Sam did right by us at every turn and made himself available day-in and day out. We have since referred him to our family and they have said the exact same things.

If you're looking for high quality work and a true partner and professional contractor, Sam and his team have to be your first choice.

Work Done: We hired Sam to renovate several areas in our house. This included the kitchen, flooring, basement and bathrooms.

Feedback: Sam exceeded expectations. On several occasions, he went above and beyond the agreed upon scope of work to improve the overall quality of the renovation. He was professional throughout the process and has even been a good resource after the work was completed. A few specifics and highlights:

- Patient: Sam took the time to explain various aspects of the project and educate us on the work being done. This was especially important given we're admittedly no renovation experts and were also learning along the way.

- Good Recommendations: He gave good recommendations and more importantly, did it in a way that wasn't overwhelming or condescending. He laid out options, educated us on pros/cons, and ultimately let us decide.

- Responsive: Sam responded to questions and requests in a timely manner. This was important because we never wanted to micromanage the project. However, when we did have questions or requests, he answered them quickly.

- Punctual: We entered the project knowing that there'd be some sort of delays, especially since it was during the pandemic. However, it was clear that Sam put a lot of effort into moving the renovation along its timeline which resulted in it being done in a reasonable amount of time.

- Fairly Priced: His prices seemed fair to us and he was transparent about what it covered.

- On-Going Support: Even after the work was finished, Sam and his network have been a good resource for on-going maintenance items and one-off fixes.

Summary: Sam was what we were looking for in a contractor, and more. We would definitely consider hiring him again for any work needed in the future.

I have known Sam for a few years and he is an honest, hardworking person. I found him while he was building a brand new house next to our house. He showed me the house and he had done an incredible job. I hired him for our wooden floor and his people finish the job in one day and it looked beautiful. I would recommend Sam to everyone. He is honest with his estimate and does not overcharge and stands by his work.

Sam and his team did an amazing job renovating our basement and basement bathroom! Prior to the work, he recommended someone for HVAC to come in first since we weren't sure the best order to proceed with our projects. His recommended HVAC person was phenomenal as well, and when the work was finished Sam came in to start the basement work. He did a great job scaling the work to our budget and allowing us to complete stuff that we felt comfortable with (like painting.) He didn't just have us pick things out to do, he provided great feedback and guidance on design on what would have the best end result. When we uncovered some plumbing issues that needed to be addressed before work could continue, he was able to bring someone in to fix them at a very reasonable cost. When we had some suggested changes after the project had begun, he worked with us to accommodate our requests and charged fairly to do so. Everyone on his team that came to do work was punctual and professional. We had a great experience and will be hopefully using Sam to complete our future projects as well, as we cannot recommend him enough. He was honest, direct, trustworthy and communicated great with us.

Sam was referred to me by my sister after he completely renovated her house. I hired him to update my home that was stuck in the 1980s. Sam and his team did a fantastic job, paid attention to detail, and stuck to the schedule. I had no prior experience with renovating a home so I relied on Sam for his expertise and guidance. He was easy to reach when I needed him and was very reliable. My house now looks beautiful and I would highly recommend Sam to anyone looking to renovate their home.

We were unable to undertake our project with Sam due to financing issues, but of all the contractors we met with Sam stood out for his professionalism, thoroughness, knowledge, and willingness to help. He spent countless hours on the phone with us reviewing our plans, visited our home to review in more detail, and even helped us complete permit applications when the fate of the project was hanging in the balance. We will absolutely work with Sam in the future and will enthusiastically recommend him to our friends and family.

Sam and his team are exceptional workers and easy to communicate with. Sam offered several options to choose from before starting the work with pros and cons. They did a great job while meticulously looking at the fine details. Sam went the extra mile to fulfill work needs that were not on the original contract. Jobs were well done. Highly recommended for all your construction needs.

Usually I don't have time to write reviews. But, due the exceptional service, quality of work, and paying attention to all details, I found my self writing this review for Sam's construction. He constructed a big project including 3 stories medical building and parking lot for me. He took over a prior contractor that did not do anything correct. In few months, he was able to finish with amazing results. Quality and time were my main issue and he provided best quality work in very reasonable time. Thank you Sam
