Reviews of local pros in Landing, New Jersey

Terrance is amazing. The communication, punctuality, professionalism, job performance are hands down the best in the business. Terrance has cut down over 50 trees for me and every time has been nothing but perfection. I highly recommend Shark Tree Service!!!

I recently hired Shark Tree Service to remove 2 large, dead ash trees from my front yard, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their work. From the moment I called for a quote, their team was professional, courteous, and highly knowledgeable.

They arrived right on time, with all the necessary equipment, and took every precaution to ensure the job was done safely and efficiently. The crew worked quickly, carefully cutting down the tree in sections to avoid damage to nearby structures. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up—by the time they left, you wouldn’t even know they were there. They walked me through the entire process beforehand and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Pricing was fair and transparent, with no hidden fees.

If you're looking for reliable, professional tree removal, I highly recommend Shark Tree Service. They made a potentially stressful situation completely stress free.

Beyond Impressed!!! Terrence and his team took down a dead tree that was in a tricky spot on the property. They were on time, professional, incredibly skilled, and left the area cleaner than they found it. And the price was much lower than other quotes we received. I highly recommend them and will be using them again for all my tree removal needs.

Shark Tree Service was very responsive and from the start. Very good communication from the first call to set up an appointment for the estimate. We explained what we wanted and within hours of Terrance coming to check out the project, we received a quote for exactly what we discussed in detail along with a copy of the insurance certificate. Work was scheduled within days. Shark Tree Service arrived as arranged and began work immediately. Within hours, the job was completed professionally. Terrance and Al were very considerate of our property and worked quickly and precisely. Very reasonable price for the work that was done. We definitely recommend hiring Shark Tree Service, you will not be disappointed.

I called Terence from shark 🦈 Tree on a Sunday, he came out same day and gave me an estimate, we made an appointment for 2 weeks later on a Sunday and he came out in the morning to take down one tree and and trim up about 8 other trees. He is very professional and does great work
Terence and AL cleaned up whatever debris was left and made sure I was satisfied with his work before they were finished .if you're looking for someone reliable and works safe with all the right equipment, they were great

Terrence with Shark Tree Service was great. We needed 2 dead trees removed from our yard. He was very responsive and returned calls promptly. After the initial call, he came by later that same day to do an estimate. Upon hiring him, he and his assistant showed up on time, worked diligently with all safety measures in place and cleaned up the yard of all debris. Other than 2 trees gone from my yard, you wouldn't even know they were there. He has fair pricing and I will definitely use him again.

I had another fantastic experience with Terrence and his crew from Shark Tree Service. When I reached out for an estimate, Terrence stopped by same day, which I really appreciated. Him and his crew arrived on time and did a great job trimming approx 6 trees around our property. Not only were they efficient, but they also cleaned up thoroughly afterward, leaving no mess behind. I highly recommend them for any tree work you may need and will definitely be using his services in the future!

Terence at Shark Tree did a fantastic job with a large tree that was at risk to fall on our neighbor’s house. He visited the site the same day as my first call and provided a quote. He had all the right equipment to do the job safely and cleanly. He also cut the tree into 18” sections, so all I have to do is split and season them to burn as firewood. Overall a very good experience with Shark Tree Service and I’ll be reaching out to Terence again for any future arborist projects.

Terence and his crew did a great job with our tree. We had a very large maple in our backyard that was half dead, called Terence and he came by within a few hours to assess and give a quote (for both the tree removal and stump grinding which was handled by a different company). Very friendly, but a quick 10 min assessment and he was on his way. Sent over a contract and his proof of insurance the same day. I called him on a Tuesday, job was done that Thursday quickly and surprisingly quietly. I'm writing this review on Friday while the recommended stump grinder is taking care of the stump.

We're very pleased with his work and the yard is cleaner than it was when he and his crew (just one other guy for this job) arrived. The price seemed very reasonable to me, I'm sure it's extremely variable based on the tree and ease of access but this was not a small job. I also appreciated his communication style. Great prompt communication but was happy to just shoot me some texts apprising me of progress and ETAs for equipment dropoff/pickup rather than knocking on the door 50 times. My partner and I both work from home so that was especially appreciated. We'll definitely be calling these guys back if/when we need any more work done.
