Landscaping reviews in Maple Shade, New Jersey

Jeff and his crew installed a fantastic patio for us. It required a lot of fine detail due to our sloped yard and Jeff had the designs well worked out and done very quickly. The crew that put it in spent over a week building it and never left any messes at the end of each day. The design and finished product far exceeded my expectations. I could not more highly Bailey Landscape Services as they did an awesome job.

I have been using this service for a few seasons without issue, and they are well known throughout the area.

With that said I recently recieved a 600 dollar bill for a mulch job that should cost 150-200 at max. Pictured below. No shrubs, plants or anything other than a thin layer of mulch. They claimed I signed a quote for this amount, which I would have never done. I could have mulched my beds for the next 3 seasons at this price. This proves no one physcially did the estimate. The previous invoices would not load. I asked to cancel my service and they show up today to cut my lawn (which is dead and not needing a cut also in picture).

This may be a hiccup with their business, but I feel these are terrible business practices. My family ran a landscaping company for years, never would we charge this amount nor attempt to cut a lawn that did not need a cut. Such a horrible experience after being in the hospital for 12 days.

****Update, no attempt was made to fix the quote. Also the owner is publically posting my address and IP out of spite. Passive agressive behavior and empty threats instead of taking the 5 minutes to drive to the job site and fix the price. I gave them a chance to fix the problem and removed my review, nothing was done but resending me the same insane bill 3 more times. Aditionally they just attempted to cut my dead lawn instead of skipping the week *****

Avoid them at all costs, im a google guide and my reviews are typically very nice and considerate.

Jeff is the best. I rate the quality of his work to be top notch. Very professional and delivers what is promised. Very flexible and will always steer you in the right direction.

Bailey's crew were timely, friendly and professional. They did a terrific job on our walkway and front porch area. Jeff was very helpful in helping us pick the proper materials. Would absolutely recommend, we couldn't be happier with how the project turned out.

I don’t usually write reviews but Jeff Bailey and his team were spectacular in installing pavers around the entire patio. The project was completed with professionalism and the team was amazing, neat, on the job each and every day in the scorching heat and always paying attention to detail. From the first day I met Jeff he was professional, kind and pleasurable. I told him my budget and he came back with a proposal that fit perfectly. He also coordinated with the pool company as my project was complexed to ensure the entire project was seamless while keeping me apprised of the progress. I also must mention Andrew and the team, I thank you so much for everything and being flexible when my daughter asked for changes. I will definitely be reaching out to Bailey landscaping for years to come and would strongly recommend them to everyone. Thank you all!!!!

We hired Jeff Bailey and his team to help us design and upgrade our backyard, as well as perform regular lawn maintenance (e.g., mowing, weed treatment, fertilization, mulching).

The design process went great. Jeff came out to check out our yard and hear our ideas to make it an awesome outdoor space to entertain and enjoy with our kids. He pulled together an initial plan with different ideas to elevate it. After minimal adjustments, his team worked to implement the plan and after 6-8 weeks, the backyard had completely transformed.

During the project execution, we maintained regular communication with the project manager, Andrew, and were able to quickly mitigate little issues that came up. All members of the Bailey team were extremely respectful and worked hard (through rain and heat) to get the backyard finished in a timely manner.

Although the backyard design is finished, we continue to use Bailey for ongoing lawn maintenance - and the yard couldn't look better. Jeff has come out personally to assess the yard and ensure that it's meeting expectations. When he noticed areas that could look better, he made sure his team fixed it appropriately.

Obviously, we highly recommend Bailey Landscape! They are really great people to work with and they do an awesome job.

Highly recommend Bailey Landscape. Easy to contact, you can do it online or phone them. They actually get back to you which in this day is rare. My yard is looking good, and I had them landscape my front and side yards. I love what they did, even had them come out and weed it for this year. Have already recommended them to others. They are reliable and polite and definitely take pride in their work, and for that I am thankful.

From inception, Jeff and Andrew were absolutely professional, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. They guided us throughout the entire process and constantly kept us updated so that we knew exactly what was going on, when it was going to happen, and made sure that we were happy with little to no surprises.

During the initial visit to review the scope of the project, they took the time to listen to our wants and needs. Afterwards, they provided their input and feedback on how we can improve on our vision. From there, they took all of that information and realistically rendered our yard digitally so that we can view and tweak the design. Once the design was finalized, they provided a quote that was fair but most importantly, accurate!! Again, no surprises.

During the job, they ensured that we were always updated. There were some issues with the yard that needed to be resolved but again, they communicated the issue, provided a solution, and made sure that the extra cost to resolve the issue was priced fairly.

In the end, I could not have made a better choice. They did such a great job that we had them rip and replace all of the pre-existing stonework in the front of the house to match the side of the house and backyard.

The attached pics were taken towards the end of the project so what's missing from the pics are the furnishings and gazebo that will be installed on top of the firepit seating wall. After the pool was installed by Artistic Pools, they regraded the entire yard, installed all of the paver work, installed a custom fire pit with seating wall. They also tied in the front of the house by installing a paved walkway on the side of the house that directly leads to the backyard. All of the landscape lighting was also installed by Bailey Landscaping.

Bailey Landscaping has done a great job with my lawn care. They are on time each week and bring 3-4 people with them to cut the grass, trim around all the edges and blow the clippings off all the sidewalks and driveway. They have also handled my spring and fall cleanups. Very professional and they communicate through email for any changes.

We had a great experience with Bailey! We had a small hill alongside our neighbor's wood fence that was hard to grow grass and mow. We had him design landscaping along the fence, future front landscaping and a future patio area. He accommodated our requests along the way like leaving room for a potential shed, adding lights, drip irrigation and adding the entire front landscaping project right before he was scheduled to start. We planted at the end of the fall season and can't wait for the later spring when everything starts to bloom.
