Reviews of local pros in Maple Shade, New Jersey

Met with Mike on September 25th, job was completed on September 26th. Lawn was protected, crew did a great job, even using leaf blower when finished. Would recommend highly.

WOW!! Prates Tree Service. To watch how efficiently the workers ran there equipments , the 2 huge oak trees in my backyard, 1 tree needed to be cut down, and 1 just pruned , as branches were hanging over property line and they remove stumps as well, Thank you for referral.

Prates Tree Service was phenomenal! I was in a situation with a contractor before that left me with a huge uncut tree. Mike came to my house in 5 mins to check the tree out and the tree was gone within a few days. They were punctual, professional, and efficient. All things that matter to me when paying someone for a job. 10/10 recommend for service. Will be calling back for a second tree!

Very happy with Prate's! Mike returned my call right away, provided a competitive quote and scheduled a date for the work very quickly. He and his team did a great job clearing overgrowth in our back yard.

Mike and his crew provided the best tree trimming experience ever! They were super quick, did an amazing job, and left the place cleaner than when they found it! Plus Mike is a super down to earth guy and an absolute pleasure to talk to. I cannot recommend this service enough! Five stars doesn’t do it justice. Thanks again guys!

Estimate on Monday, finished work that Friday. Mike and his team were laid back when speaking with them but ALL work and business when it came to the yard.

Lets take inventory on what they did;
Yard holes and trench filled (fixed prior landscaping disaster)
2 large cherry trees trimmed
Misc branches trimmed
6 smaller trees cut down, stumps ground
Heavy brush removed and cleared.

I gained well over 1000 sq feet of usable yard and prevented a potential home owners issue if these trees were to fall in my neighbors's property

Priced very, very competitive, quick and efficient. Staff friendly and considerate, laid down platforms to preserve yard while utilizing heavy equipment. FYI, if the owner of the business is also working with the crew, please acknowledge the oversight and commitment to the job. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing these types of services, give Mike a call you won't be disappointed!

Mike and his crew took down 5 large oak trees for us so we could improve our backyard. The price was fair and the service exceeded our expectations. Mike is an honest man who does what he says he is going to do.

These guys were great! They removed a huge tree for me. They were well organized, efficient, and very courteous. They cleaned everything beautifully before they left. Excellent job! I would recommend them to anyone.

These guys were excellent! Mike was awesome to work with, came out to quote us a pretty extensive job. Priced really well. His crew was amazing and they were attentive to detail. Removed a very large cherry tree super close to our house with no issue. They cleaned up a lot of other trees on our property. And did a great job of cleaning up the yard so there were no debris. Would highly recommend this crew!

got my huge oak tree down with ease, even with wires in the way. great communication and great service. had 3 other tree services over for an estimate… best price around. mike and prate’s tree service took care of the permits and everything else. will be recommending these guys to fam and friends.

I needed a massive tree in my front yard gone and a gigantic tree in my backyard that desperately needed a haircut. After receiving 5 company estimates, Prates was the winner for us! They were the fastest to respond to our needs and by far the BEST quote we have ever heard of. They even came out 3 days later to do the job and we couldn't be more pleased. Mike and his crew worked quickly yet safely. They even had to take down our fence to get their equipment through to the backyard. The clean-up was great & the fence was re-installed correctly! Overall Prates Tree Service is a great company. They provide a wonderful service and their team members are ALL so polite and courteous. Amazing experience!!

We needed some stumps grinded out and some bushes trimmed. Prate’s tree service was a great value, very professional and did the job the same day but most importantly they did a great job. They did exactly what we needed done. I would 100% use them again. I have used a few services over the years and Prate’s was definitely the best. Thank you Prate’s for being the best!

Mike and his team were great! We had a tree fall on our property over the weekend - he came out Monday to give an estimate and brought his crew back on Tuesday to remove the fallen tree and cut down another 5 trees. Highly recommend.

The team was absolutely amazing! They completed the job quickly and efficiently. We truly appreciated their expertise, professionalism, and kindness throughout the process. We’re extremely pleased and will gladly work with them again in the future!

This review is being written as Prates is removing 3 trees from our property. They are doing an excellent job of cutting and removing the debris. We are so glad we chose them to remove our trees. Their prices are reasonable and they did everything we asked. We highly recommend Prates.

We had Prates out to trim and prune several of our trees due to our homeowners insurance requiring the trim of branches over our roof.

We met with Mike for an estimate. He was very courteous and professional. Explained the process and provided a quote within hours.

His team came out within 48 hours of confirmation. They came out when they said they would. They completed everything they promised and cleaned everything up.

Would highly recommend and I will use them again.

We just had Mike and his crew at Prate trim a tree, cut back some ivy growing on another and take out a dead arborvitae and they did a fantastic job. Everything discussed at the estimate was done and done quickly and completely all at a great price. Upon learning our tree was in worse shape than we hoped, we'll be calling Prate back to have it removed in the future. We're really happy with their service.

Mike got two trees down for me, in less than 24 hours from our first conversation. Pricing was much better than I expected, and I would definitely use them again!

Anthony (and his team) are wonderful. Don’t go looking around, I did that, nearly 6 other companies. Price is really good and the work is much better. Super friendly guys while communicated throughout the process.

Quality work. I have been contracting Melo's Tree Services for at least six years do to better quotes, personal estimates from the owner and as I said quality work. The crew that comes out to do the work are respectable of my property and know what they are doing. Clean up is
great when they are done. Could not ask for a better job well done.

I had a great experience with this company. Melo's delivered
as promised. They did a great job. They were on time. They were fast. . They cleaned up everything. They're respectful of property but most of all Anthony's prices are great! I was highly satisfied and would highly recommend this company for all of your tree needs!
