RGH, particularly Steve, was great to work with for our detached garage renovation. Fairly priced, super communicative and walked us through every step of our project. They were also able to complete the job in our intended time frame despite some minor challenges along the way. Would definitely work with them again on future projects.

Out of the blue, a portion of our living room ceiling collapsed. Nobody was hurt. It was original to the 84 year old house, and the nails holding it to the joists just failed. Bob Hume came over soon after I called and we determined that several rooms, ultimately 5 (living room, dining room, 3 bedrooms) plus the ceiling above a stairway, needed to be replaced. He had a crew in the next day to demo the living room ceiling. This was a profoundly disruptive event, but Bob was very concerned that I was satisfied and kept in touch. The crew was really good at what they do. They cleaned up thoroughly. I would be happy to work with them again.

We had the best experience with RGH. Our home is exactly what we dreamed it to be, and it was such a smooth 7 months. Paul, Sam and their crew(s) were a pleasure to work with- so attentive to detail, and all went over and above what we anticipated. They created a temporary kitchen for us, in addition to a relocated washer/dryer- so it was easy to live through the huge renovation project (large addition, new kitchen, laundry & mud room, family room, screened in porch, patio and driveway!) We give them a 5 star review, and are so indebted to them for all of their hard work.

We chose RGH to knock down and rebuild our whole house and could not be happier with our choice. RGH Development just completed a second project at my home. Last year they rebuilt the enclosed front porch, and last week Project Manager Steve and the team from RGH completed a kitchen renovation...from demolition to the very last detail: new windows, electrical work, plumbing, cabinet installation, tile work, construction of new breakfast nook table and benches, final painting. My family recently had the opportunity to rebuild a home with RGH and Paul Vicari. As one can imagine, designing and rebuilding an entire home can be a tremendously stressful experience. However, there is truthfully nothing about our experience that we would change. There was never one time in which we felt in the dark about what was going on with our project. Paul was always 10 steps ahead and updated us with any changes, next steps or decisions we needed to make. His team of subcontractors are the BEST of the best - they are conscientious, efficient and all work well together. The job site was always tidy and our presence and input was welcomed. Paul is a great sounding board for any concerns, questions or anxieties. He is honest and upfront and a tremendous guide/resource for a project of this magnitude. He holds everyone working with him to the highest standards and this is reflected in his work. With full time careers and 2 small children, my husband and I were able to remain as stress-free as possible while our project was completed AHEAD of schedule.

My family recently worked with RGH and Paul Vicari and his assistant Annie. We did a master bedroom renovation, including adding a bathroom and walk-in closet. Paul was always extremely communicative, always letting us know what was planned for the day and week. We never had to guess if anyone would be showing up or not. Paul first told us the job would take about 3 months, but he finished it in 2. He always gave his recommendations throughout the project, which we appreciated. We were extremely pleased with the project overall. Paul also made sure that we could live in our house comfortably while the construction was going on. Everyday the house was left clean. Where other contractors become hard to reach and lose focus as the project nears completion, Paul was the opposite. He remained focused on all the little things that come up at the end of a project and has continued to be in touch with us and helpful even after final payment was made. We just finished a major kitchen, mudroom, and dining room project (where reversed the locations of the kitchen and dining room) and couldn't be more pleased with RGH's results. Project managers Ryan and Alec were always available, the quality of work was exceptional, and there were no pricing surprises. While RGH's price wasn't the cheapest, we appreciated not receiving change orders for every little thing found in our 110+ year old house. We highly recommend and would definitely use them again!

We hired RGH to renovate our bathroom and bedroom, and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Alec’s team did excellent work, and Ryan did a good job orchestrating all of the moving pieces to get the job done right. We were treated fairly when major structural issues were discovered that necessitated a change order to install new beams, and we got the sense that the team really knows these old houses well. Though we had some communication issues at times on the project—as I suspect most projects with most contractors do at some point or another—Ryan and her team have been absolutely committed to getting the job done right, even coming back to fix an issue that was discovered well after the final check cleared. I would hire them again, and I look forward to speaking with them about our next project in a few years.
