Charlie replaced the front door to our house. Charlie guided us through the task of choosing a door and supplier. He had some significant challenges on the installation because the original door was a non-standard size. Charlie creatively solved the problems and the installation looks great. he also installed a storm door, again solving some challenges due to the size of the opening. Charlie is a very creative problem solver. He cares about the look and feel of the final product. He went to great lengths to make sure I was happy with the installation, and I am.

John did a great job when I needed an emergency job done at my home. He was prompt, efficient and very reasonable! I know that I will be a repeat customer and would recommend this company to all my friends and family.

John was on time very informative and professional he identified our problem instantly and assured us that we were safe and the remedy was an easy repair. We are very satisfied with his level of knowledge and would certainly recommend his service to our friends.

My house needed a lot of love when I bought it. John and his team fixed the roof, updated the electric, did mold remediation in the basement, altered the upstairs closet (originally so small that it could only store the heating duct, now it's a luscious master closet), and then dug out my dirt basement so that the floor was 6" lower and finished it with concrete. John and his crew are polite, friendly, helpful, and do a great job. I was kept updated throughout the process, and all of my questions were answered. It was great to work with someone who was as excited about the potential of my house as I was.

They did the work they were supposed to. And did a good job. But something seemed off about how they conducted themselves. We got a second opinion and found out they overcharged us by thirteen thousand dollars. I confronted him and he got very defensive but ultimately agreed to do the upstairs free of charge. After doing that we had a third company tell us that for all the work that was done that we were overcharged ..When I confronted him after he talked my wife into giving him more money for testing, he flew into a rage and refused to talk to me and hung up. They are definitely scam artists that overcharge for large sums of money. DO NOT HIRE THEM WITHOUT GETTING A SECOND ESTIMATE… on multiple sites he has rebuked my reviews by saying slanderous things to undermine my review. Don’t hire these guys unless you want to be overcharged.. John is dishonest and manipulative. If you’ve had work done by him , I would investigate how much he charged you by talking with other companies..

John and Vincent, along with their team especially Anthony, Wilmer and Xavier were professional and exceptional at all that they do. Each day I was informed about the work being done and it was always completed on time. I would highly recommend Blue Planet

This company was recommended to me by my builder who knows the owners. I have an newer (11 years) home with a foundation that has recently begun leaking even when it isn't raining. My wife began to smell unusual odors in the basement. John came and tested the air. Our house had black mold due to the leaks in our foundation. John and the teams from blueplanet came in and stopped the water permanently and eliminated the mold. The testing from after they finished came back showing the house was mold free. My experience with this company was excellent from beginning to end. They told me what it would cost and did exactly what they said they would do. I give them a very high rating.

We bought a home in August and new it had a major water (upwelling) and black mold (stachybotrys) problem in the crawlspace. It was so bad we thought the crawlspace was painted black! Smelled terrible and we really didn't know if it would work out. However, we loved the house and reached out to some mold guys. The Johns (two of them) came to our rescue and within ten days of us closing on the house they had corrected the water and mold problem. It is safe, dry, and smells wonderful! I sent the Johns a video that I hope they post. As first time home buyers we were looking for a place by the ocean where we could basically live until we get old and wrinkly. We are not looking to flip the home or even add onto it. We just wanted a safe place to live. Now we have one thanks to these guys. They continue to check up on us and I continue to use them for recommendations for other contractors, all of whom, have been excellent.

every craftsman that blue planet has was courteous, respectful, and so gifted in their assorted crafts
the project took 12 weeks....it was not easy on us...the house is small and we made sacrifices...I would live through that 12 times over for what I am living in now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I I don’t even know where to begin. I was overwhelmed and in a bad situation. I was told to call so many people until I was finally recommended John. One company who did it all! He calmed me down immediately and assured me that my home would be taken care of as fast as possible. He even helped me with insurance because let’s face it, with two babies no one’s got time for that nonsense. I can’t say enough positive about blu planet!!! Super knowledgeable in so many areas, fast and efficient, and a real pleasure to work with!

We had a great experience with Blue Planet. The testing was thoroughly explained before and afterwards. We were given options for how to address our mold and water issues and even suggestions on how we could save money by doing part of the work ourselves. All of the workers were prompt, knowledgeable, and polite. I would definitely use Blue Planet again in the future.

John / Blue Planet were great. In times like these where it was difficult to get contractors to even call you back let alone show up, Blue Planet did both (and on time). They were great with the follow up as well providing invaluable advice and support with other vendors we were working with.

I went with Blue Planet and another company for a quote to install french drains in my basement. The first company gave a quote just for that and didn't plan to put drains all around how I would have liked.

Blue Planet came in and listened to my concerns and they also pointed out the mild mold issues I was not aware of! The first company wouldn't have said anything and treated that!

The treatment and the drain installation process was very quick and professional all around. They came in, did their work and left no trace! Can't even tell part of my sheet rock was cut off (due to the drain installation, they needed to cut it) when they repatched the area.

I would 200% recommend them to anyone who needs any sort of basement work and/or mold treatment due to their excellent prices (they beat out the competition), their professionalism, the time to get the job done (the other company said 4 months but Blue Planet got me in 2 weeks) and the constant staying in touch throughout the process.

Called Blue Planet to come out to perform a Mold test along with an air quality test in my home. Be careful who you call when dealing with mold issues, but after contacting John I was finally put at ease. John was reliable and very knowledgeable. He went through the entire process with me and did everything as promised and there were ZERO hidden fees/conditions. I would highly recommend!!!

We had a major water issue happen in our basement. Blue Planet responded quickly and professionally. The tear out, cleanup, mold remediation, rebuild went without a hitch and end-to-end finished in about 8 weeks. The basement looks brand new, like it never happened. No must, no mold, no damage, just fresh and clean. Blue Planet also installed a sophisticated preventative system using smart outlets and battery back-ups for the sump pumps, virtually removing any risk of this ever happening again.

The owner is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of home construction, mold remediation, water drainage solutions, etc.

We will certainly be using Blue Planet again, when the need arises.
