Michael and team did a great job removing one of our trees and trimming another. After calling for an estimate his turnaround time from getting us the estimate to actually getting the work done was impressive! We'll be sure to use Hufnagel Tree Service again in the future!

Had the very good fortune of contacting Hufnagel Tree Service some years back, after dealing with trees that had fallen onto our property from an adjacent neglected lot.
Mike came out to take a look, and promptly identified trees that could present a future problem; as he is a certified arborist, we felt confident in following his advice. He then offered a very reasonable and cost- effective solution, and the problem was solved.
Since then, we have used him to trim the trees on our property. Mike responds promptly, and is on the job quickly.
He and his crew are polite, efficient, and thorough, from start to finish. Beautiful work, professionally done.
One other thing- Mike will not try to talk you into more than you need. As a matter of fact, I have asked whether additional work needed to be done, and he told me it wasn’t necessary, even though it would have put more money in his pocket.
An honest person, and a pleasure to deal with!

I had an unexpected emergency when a major tree branch came down, sheared my fence, and fell into my neighbor’s yard. I called Hufnagel Tree Service and within 10 minutes, Mike—the owner—was in my yard assessing the situation. By 10am the very next morning, Mike and his team were back on my property, ready to handle the job.

These guys are Pros! Michael and his crew are great. The estimate, the walkthroughs, the actual work and cleanup were performed smoothly and quickly. They worked on 5 different mature trees and they all look excellent. Even my neighbors were impressed.

Mike and his team arrived on time and were very professional. They were highly skilled in trimming the large tree in my yard that had its branches entangled in wires. Hufnagel Tree Service is top notch !! I had a 40 ft pine that was leaning towards power lines and starting to uproot because of saturated ground. Called Mike at 1am he returned my call by 6 and estimated the job by seven. By 10am it was no longer a concern or a worry about damaging my house or power lines !! Awesome courteous service, and price was great for what I consider emergency service !! Clean up was also exquisite right down to cleaning up the sidewalk 👍

Great experience with Mike and his crew! Mike came out to my property and did a walkthrough with me, answering all of my “new homeowner, what even is this thing growing here” types of questions. We had a few trees that we wanted out of the way of our service line and he made it happen very quickly! Staff was super tidy, quick, and were able to make sure that their operation didn’t bother traffic on my busy street. Absolutely fantastic job and can’t thank Mike enough! Having his expertise and knowledge on hand when dealing with so many trees is absolutely a game changer for me. Really excited to continue working with him and his team!

You deal with the owner and his crew, whom he cares about and treats very well. An owner operated company, that does the job correctly and properly. These are the people you want in your neighborhood and on your property. If you find cheap work, find it. If you want a very, very fair price with people that care about the care you get.

I cannot recommend Mike and his team enough! My husband & I recently got a new deck and whatever was coming off of our neighbors tree made it black within a week. We had Mike come out for an estimate and we were able to get on the schedule for two days later. They were on time and did an amazing job! We will definitely be using Hufnagel Tree Service in the future if we need to trim the branches again.

I emailed Mike and he was out the same day to give an estimate . We set a date and he and his crew showed up when expected . Everything we discussed was cut back . I could not be happier with the results . My backyard was a jungle! The results were even better than I expected! Mike’s crew cleaned up all the debris and left my yard looking wonderful. Pleased that Mike answered the phone and not a machine. He was in my area and met me within 15 minutes. Gave a quote I was comfortable with. I obtained permits for 3 large tree removals. They started that afternoon to beat the storm coming that night. He was back 8:30 the next morning. His four-man crew were done by 10:30 AM, including everything I requested and the amazing cleanup. When I review a contractor that I have hired, I assess the following: product knowledge, communication, professionalism, fair pricing, timeliness, and cleanup. I would give Mike and his crew at Hufnagel Tree Service 5 stars In every category. I was especially pleased with the constant communication before, during, and after the work was done. Definitely my ‘go to’ tree service company.

If you are looking for an easy, affordable no headache option go with Hufnagel. I dealt with Mike directly and he came out immediately. Informed us about permitting in our area too which was helpful. Took down two huge dead willows in a couple hours and came back another day to fully grind down the huge stumps. I appreciate the work they did. They were fairly priced, quick, clean, communicative and there is virtually no stump left at all on my property. I will call them moving forward for all my tree needs.

Great experience with Hufnagle tree service! I was worried that I was going to have to lose several trees in my yard, but Mike assured me they were still healthy and only needed some pruning.

We have been using Hufnagel tree service for 25 years. Mike is always quick to respond and brings his team within a day or two to help. We have used for emergencies and tree trimming . Always leaves the job site clean.
