Prompt, reasonable, professional service with no lectures or hassles. Far too many plumbers approach a job by telling you all the things that you as the homeowner did wrong or screwed up, not them. They calmly diagnosed my issue, repaired it in under an hour, and the price was more than reasonable. Could not recommend them any more for all of your plumbing needs.

Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. I had a kitchen faucet replaced today and they did the job quickly, efficiently, and at a very affordable price. For future plumbing issues, I will not hesistate to contact American Plumber. Thank you!

Jul 2 - Our home warranty company [American Home Protect/EFG] contracted American Plumber to repair our AC unit which as short cycling. Ernie, the technician, diagnosed the problem then ordered a replacement a part. Jul 6 - He installed the part but the problem remained. He said that the compressor is faulty and needed to be replaced. Then, he removed our generator from the circuit believing this was the cause of the power problem. The AC unit seemed to run -- 5 mins after he left, it failed again. I immediately called him and the warranty company to reopen the claim. Since this is an older AC unit it has obsolete parts (according to Ernie). Jul 15 - today we were told after getting the 'run-around' that we will need to wait another 5 days not for the final repair/replacement, but another diagnostics visit. Meanwhile, my loved one has a medical condition with sensitivity to heat which could trigger a medical emergency. Although I respect the effort and risk tolerance during a pandemic, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROVIDER due to a lack of thorough diagnostics and negligence. Also, with each visit, we increase our exposure to someone who visits many homes and businesses in an area plagued by COVID.

Communication was great. Had an appointment scheduled for the afternoon. I received a call that the technician was available to come earlier if that was ok. Al, the technician, arrived, diagnosed, explained, and, fixed the problem. This is the second experience i have had with American Plumber. Highly recommend.

I always use this company because they do a great job. Their pricing is very fair and their crew is top notch. I had a water line that broke that was located in the cement foundation. They did a complete repair on the line and the concrete work as well. Cleaned everything up. 5 stars for sure.

All work was done quickly, and the few snags that came up Ernie was quick to correct. Would recommend to anyone.

Contacted American Plumber early AM and by 11 AM same day, replacement hot water heater installed. All work was very professional, all areas cleaned up and back in business. Have used American Plumber previously for other work and they are very responsive and the work is always neat and a good value.

Outstanding rapid service, had another company come in and charge us 150 dollars and say there is nothing they can do and your not gonna have heat for next five days until we get parts. Friend referred American Plumbing, first words out of Ernies mouth (who I have never met) was " there is no way you can go without heat". He was at my house within an hour and had the heat on in 30 mins. Contracted him right there for our needed repairs and will be using him for any and all my plumbing and HVAC needs.

We had American Plumber come in and repair our refrigerator water line. As part of the job, they also needed to replace the valve where the refrigerator line met the main water line in the ceiling of our basement. They did a phenomenal job of replacing the line and valve without having to cut into our ceiling (beyond the access panel that was already there). The work was done quickly, professionally, and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Central Jersey area.

I purchased a home and later realized that I needed some work done to my sump pump. As a first time homeowner I didn’t know what to expect and immediately thought that would cost a ton of money. Which it did not, they are very reasonable with pricing. After reaching out to American plumber a Tech came out by the name of Kamil. He was very professional and extremely polite and he worked very fast. He fixed my issue in about 30 mins. Upon him leaving I asked if he could take a look at my stopper in the bathe tub, it wasn’t holding the water. He quickly fixed that and didn't charge me extra. I am very pleased with this company and will be passing their information on to my family. Thank you Kamil!

Our hot water heater broke and water was all over our basement. We called several companies including PSEG - and American Plumber beat everyone’s rate. Ernie answered all of my husbands questions about what other companies were saying even before he knew if we were hiring him. We needed our hot water heater replaced that day, and they got the job done in about an hour. Getting a new 75 gallon heater down our steps was no easy task, and they took the time to take our handrails down as to try and reduce any possible damage to our walls (there was none!). They cleaned up after themselves and were very polite and thorough. It’s hard knowing what plumbing companies to trust, so I know I will be contacting American Plumber for all our future needs.

Ernie, Kamil and the crew are very knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. Any time I have a new issue crop up, they are very responsive.

Work has included installing a new boiler, installing a new gas line, installing tankless hot water heater, replacing hot water based board units in multiple rooms, repairing leaks, fixing clogs in drain lines, installing fixtures and other requests. Strongly recommend American Plumber!
