People normally look for plumbers only in the time of dire need. While looking they are usually freaking out angry and upset. While I was none of these things I was pleasantly surprised by Ernie's rapport on the phone. OMG exceeded my expectations. Fixed my leak before the holidays which I was not expecting. I dealt with Ernie to investigate and fix a water seepage through my tankless water heater. I had 2 plumbers before. 1 said I don’t know what it is. Another said to let the unit fail because of the water drip and replace everything. Ernie at American Plumber found a leak in the venting and repaired it for a reasonable price and gave good advice. They are honest and have integrity. The fix and replace only what you need. Will call them from now on.

They are the best plumbers.They were extremely experienced they came the next day, determined what part they needed and repaired my furnace the following day, They expedited personally picked up the part so it would not have to be shipped .

I had American Plumber install 2 natural gas lines in my backyard, one for a fire pit and one for a grill. Ernie was fantastic throughout the whole process! Ernie fixed the numerous problems with my previous installation and submitted my permits immediately. He helped me tremendously. Would definitely use him again.

I used this company to install all new plumbing in my house after Hurricane Sandy. They were great. I have also used them since to replace toilets, install faucets, and today to replace a hot water heater. I cannot recommend them enough. When you call, they give you their full attention and they show up early. The job is always top notch and the prices are more than competitive.

Quick, professional service call. The guys provide an estimate in writing by email without delaying the process (numerous companies didn't respond to my request or flat out said they don't provide estimates in writing?) followed by quickly scheduling an appointment and installing a high quality hot water heater. Price was the best one I received for a superior, top rated heater, high quality parts, efficient, professional service and permit. Importantly, I felt extremely comfortable with these professional in my house, and will easily recommend and hire them again.

Ernie let me know he was on his way through a text. He came on time. He installed a sump pump and fixed a leaking pipe. The pipe needed two trips to fix and Ernie returned the next day to fix for no additional charge. Ernie guarantees his work for one year! His pricing was competitive for our area.

I have been using American Plumber for at least 10 years (probably more) and there isn't another plumber I would consider using. Ernie is reliable, reasonable shoudl be your "go to" guy. AC, heat, pipes, generators, water tanks...American Plumber is the winner

American plumber installed a natural gas Combi heat system, which is working great and it’s more energy efficient. Very happy with their work. We have been using them for the past 25 years or so and we will continue to use them for all our plumbing needs.

I wanted to share the great experience I had with American Plumber. First off Ernie is great, responsive, open and honest about what the work is and what it may entail. I had a leak coming to my house form the street on the main water line, Ernie and his team completed the job as requested and I was very happy that even after digging up my lawn I work so hard on :) to do do the job he made sure to put it back as if nothing happened. Oh and he fixed the leak too. We also had some work done on the inside as well which was done very well and no mess left where the job was done! Highly recommend American Plumber!!!

American Plumber (Ernie and Kamil) and I have been doing business for awhile. It started with a gas leak (small) in my furnace years ago. I reported it and a gas company employee promptly showed up and verified the furnace gas leak and said that I had 12 hours to rectify it or they would shut off the gas to my house. I called American Plumber and Ernie arrived, verified the leak(gas control valve in the furnace) and immediately start searching for a replacement. Good news, he found one. Bad news, it was in a plumbing supply 45 minutes away, closing in an hour or so. Ernie drove there and back, installed the valve, and everything worked. While in my basement he inspected my water heater and found two leaking connections that he immediately corrected. That is how I started my association with American Plumber.
Since that time I’ve had a furnace, and air conditioner replaced by American Plumber. Just this month (1/2025) they installed a Generac generator. It was a smooth install and the price was very competitive. I trust American Plumber more than other services. Case in point: I price checked with two other providers and they told me things that were not true right at the beginning of their presentations. There was a promise of an extended 7 year warranty. The day they made their offers the warranty extension had passed. Generac had offered the warranty extension as a promotion but it ended two weeks before they made their proposals. Ernie told me that and I verified it myself.
Price is important. Due diligence is necessary when making investments. Trust is essential. I trust American Plumber.

Ernie was fantastic. Arrived on time, did a great job at assessing and understanding my situation, resolved my problem in a timely fashion, and was very professional the entire time. I would 100% recommend him.

Called them for a service on my Tankless Heater as they were listed on the manufacture’s website. Had them give me a quote on 3 other projects. Quoted me on the spot with a reasonable quote and no pressure. Had them fix everything. Jobs came out as I expected and couldn’t be happier. The technicians were professional and could have cleaned up a little better (saw dust, scraps left), but not a big deal or worth taking a star away from.

Ernie installed 2 high efficiency furnaces and a hot water heater in less than 2 days. His prices are reasonable and the workmanship is very high quality.

Ernie was super helpful winterizing our pool house and even found a potential hazard in the attic that if unchecked would have been dangerous. Would highly recommend!!
