Plumbers arrived on time. The work was completed quickly and was very clean and neat. John and Anthony are very nice and answered several questions I had. No problem recommending DeGrace plumbing.

John DeGrace Plumbing and Heating has been my plumbing company for 15 years. From my first phone call in 2009, John was kind enough to come to my rescue when previous plumbers deserted me and left me with a gutted bathroom. From there, his expert staff literally swooped in and saved the day. I was completely in his debt then as I am today. I have not found a more trustworthy plumbing company. There is no job large or small that John's expert staff can't handle. Kudos to John Buchanan and Anthony DeGrace for coming to my rescue again and doing an outstanding job!

We have been dealing with John Degrace Plumbing & Heating for a long time, from minor to major issues.
John and his team are very professional, reliable and efficient, they do very good work.
Last year they remodeled our bathroom and they did an excellent job, special shout out to Big John and Anthony. Then today, Billy and Nick came to the rescue to fix a leaking pipe.
When someone asks for a plumber we highly recommend John Degrace Plumbing & Heating.

I called John Wednesday morning about replacing my hot water heater and his crew was here in the afternoon. He explained everything in detail and was super professional. From start to finish my experience with John Degrace Plumbing and heating has been professional and exceptional. Finding a water heater that had broken and emptied all the water is difficult enough on a Saturday morning. With my first call, John responded quickly and kept me aware of the process and timing. His colleague Anthony showed up at the time he said he would and completed the replacement of the water heater with full explanations and kept the work area very clean. I would not hesitate to use them again, a true gem!!

John and his team did a fantastic job addressing the issues in our recent home purchase. Being a new homeowner, John was thorough in his explanation of how our boiler system operates. He is quick to respond and had his team out within a few days. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

These guys are the best. They installed our salon sinks. Quality work and very professional.

A great measure of a company is how they handle situations when things go wrong. John's team was connecting to some 75 year old plumbing when that plumbing failed. It left a bit of a mess. Not necessarily their fault, but they took responsibility. John came to inspect and to assure me of his commitment to make things right. He replaced the failed plumbing which was beyond his original scope, and also replaced a bunch of valves that were in poor shape, but we didn't even discuss. He did probably $1500+ extra work at no additional charge to compensate for my inconvenience.

They are committed to protecting their reputation and making sure customers are satisfied. It is rare to find companies anymore with such pride in their quality and doing the right thing. John Degrace will be my choice for all my plumbing needs.

We needed a plumbing company to quickly redo my mother-in-law's bathroom in Jersey City after she had fallen and required some special needs equipment. John had his excellent crew there within the week and they did a fantastic job of replacing the sink & vanity, toilet, and shower with "elderly-friendly" fixtures. The original service was an emergency service on Saturday for a sewer backup. Billy came over quickly and had us back in service. He was very professional and answered all our questions.
We decided to do further work with the sewer and John was quick to response and again was very patient with answering our questions and making sure we knew what they were quoting to do. We proceeded with the work and it was done as expected.

We would definitely recommend John Degrace for future plumbing and heating services. John was wonderful with communication and making sure the work was done correctly. Billy and all the other plumbers that did the job during the emergency job and 3 day project were professional and helpful with all we needed.

Professionalism. Old-school professionalism. It's difficult to find it these days, and John embodies it in spades. From the moment we called regarding our hot water heater, the receptionist was courteous and efficient. John was out to survey the situation within a couple of hours. He explained everything methodically and made sure that we understood what the situation was. After that, he was able to quickly get his crew out to our house to do their work. They were also friendly efficient and knowledgeable. And when you look at the work, it's clean and high-end. Can't recommend John Degrace enough. Top of the line.

Most companies will upcharge for emergency calls but the prices from John Degrace is reasonable and never pushy. Not to mention their great work and customer service skills, very professional and always on time!!!! There’s no one better qualified to call this is the only plumber you’ll ever need. Came right away…did all the work long needed in an old house. Fixed kitchen sink pipes added new drains, toilet leaks no more and actually flushes now and outside faucet that was oxidized to garden hose is brand new. Personable plumbers with outstanding work ethic. Thanks tall John & Billy. Affordable options I was able to get it all done at once.

I needed to remove some sensitive medical equipment that was hooked up to the plumbing under a bathroom sink that we were going to move out. Thankfully they were able to come in good timing to disconnect the medical equipment and shut off the water main to prevent any leakage from occurring while they worked on it. Seemed like something so simple but I knew a high level of expertise that was needed to disconnect everything without damaging the equipment under that sink.

I appreciate that they were upfront about the cost of the work they were doing and communicated the entire time with me, which allowed me to resume moving the sink and cabinetry out without much interruption. These guys are AMAZING
