Reviews of local pros in Northvale, New Jersey

Very skilled and hard working crew with the right equipment for the job. Competitive pricing too. My lawn took a beating but they promptly returned and restored the lawn with their landscaping crew. I highly recommend A&H.

I commend A&H Tree Service for their professionalism, proactive communication throughout the project, including timely arrival as scheduled, and meticulous safety precautions during the inherently hazardous work. Their diligent protection of my driveway and subsequent cleanup are noteworthy. I highly recommend their services.

The guys were very professional and worked quickly and performed excellent work- will definitely use A&H Tree services again!

Excellent and professional. Then crew removed a 150 foot dead oak, efficiently without issue.
Thank you

A and H tree service was amazing. From start to finish they did an amazing job. Price was reasonable for the job that was being done while other tree services quoted almost double. They were very helpful with applying for permits as well. As I work full time in nyc, it is very hard for me to take off just so i can drop of paperwork at the borough. But they took care of all that stuff themselves which was really helpful. they showed up 30 mins early to get the job done. Our tree was HUGE and they managed clear it off safely and quickly. They also suggested our small tree next to the big one was rotting in the inside so suggested to take down as well. they also ended up clearing out the roots so we have room to plant other trees. overall they did an amazing job. super professional and cleaned up nicely. i would definitely recommend them if anyone is looking into chopping down a tree. In the before picture you see the small tree and the big one to the right (about 100ft high)

5 Stars – Exceptional Service from Start to Finish!
We had a massive, damaged tree in our backyard that needed to come down, and I couldn’t be more impressed with A and H Tree Service. From the very first phone call to the completion of the job, the entire experience was seamless and incredibly professional.

This wasn’t a simple removal—it required several trucks and heavy machinery to access a tight area, and the coordination was flawless. The entire crew was not only highly skilled but also courteous, respectful, and clearly experienced. Everyone—from the estimator who first visited us, to the person who kept us updated throughout the permit process via text, to the team on-site—was outstanding.

They worked efficiently, handled everything with care, and left our yard clean and safe. And their pricing was more than fair for the complexity of the job. I wish I had all their names to thank them individually, but please know this entire team deserves the highest praise.

If you're looking for a tree service company that’s reliable, professional, detail-oriented, and staffed by genuinely great people—look no further. I highly recommend A and H Tree Service!

Can not recommend this company. They are expensive and expect payment in full up front before they will do any work. The work they performed was sub par and when the person came back to look at the issues I had all he did was argue with me. They keep saying they are going to fix it but just giving us the run around. They did not trim the bushes properly, clean up properly after the job and damaged the sidewalk with their heavy equipment.

Very satisfied with the work of people from A and H tree cutting. . Orlando, Alfred’s and Robert were excellent workers and courteous. .

Very responsive and professional. The gentleman that came out to my property to discuss tree trimming was knowledgeable and the quote was very reasonable. The crew did a thorough job and left the rest of the property exactly as they found it.

A&H Tree Service came out to my property this week, and I was truly impressed by their professionalism and cleanliness. The crew arrived on time and communicated each step of the process clearly. They made sure to protect my landscaping from debris, thoroughly cleaned up the work area afterward. Their attention to detail and respect for my property made the entire experience positive and stress-free. Thank You

Excellent work, very organizer, am so happy that I don't have to deal with the tree no more, this company takes care of the property very well, in order to don't cost any damage, I recommend this company 100%

Would use them again and I would HIGHLY recommend them. Thanks for your services and a BIG THANKS to Connie ,Javier, Holmes, Robert and the rest of the crew.

Highly recommended for trimming and removing any tree you need taken care of. A nice, friendly crew with each one doing their specialized task. Quick, thorough and clean work.

A and H Tree Service is the best tree company from my experience. No need to look any further. They were professional, respectful, and treated my property with care. We had a big job with removing 8+ trees. From quoting the job, getting the permit, and scheduling, they were consistently communicating with me. They own all their equipment and are insured. On the day of, their crew (7 guys) showed up with all the heavy equipment and worked non-stop, with exception to a quick lunch break. The team was well organized and everyone was exceptionally hard working with a great attitude. They properly protected my property with plywood and wooden blocks where necessary. I was impressed with their work removing trees in difficult areas. Like some, I normally do not write reviews, but felt compelled to in this instance. I found them through the great reviews that many other customers have shared. This is a great company with honest hard working individuals that I wanted to help by sharing my experience as well. There is no doubt that I will be using A and H in the future. -HL

Very quick response and timely service. Workers were courteous and helpful working around a tight area. Reasonably priced as well. I would highly recommend A and H tree service.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring A&H Tree Service to remove two large oak trees from my property, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service they provided. From start to finish, the team at A&H Tree Service demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a commitment to safety that was impressive.

First and foremost, the operation was no small feat. The trees were large, and their removal required navigating tight spaces and working in close proximity to active power lines. Despite these challenges, the team approached the task with meticulous planning and precision. They utilized heavy machinery with remarkable skill, ensuring that every step of the process was executed with care.

Wonderful fast service! We had a large amount of brush and dead arborvitaes we had removed, and needed to take away. After calling 5 places, they are the only ones who got back to me with a quote. They were able to come the next day and pick up everything. Paid online, very easy. And they left the driveway spotless! Great work, reasonable prices, fast service. Highly recommend!

I find A and H Tree Service very reasonable. My property is on a small hill in Wayne, NJ and backyard has signifiant drop. Very difficult area to work with.
The A and H team members are skilled, polite and were on time. Did excellent job and they made sure work site was clean, free of debris, chips or small branches and twigs. They carry right equipment, truck with crane on back.
Orlando did most of the cutting supported by Humberto, Alfredo and Aryan.
I would strongly recommend them. At least doesn’t hurt to get initial quote. If not cheapest, would be comparable with others.

The entire process was fast and easy. Took out four trees. Was provided a good price and the work was done both fast and professional. The site was left very clean. I definitely recommend these guys they are experienced and know what they are doing.

Company was so great to work with! Peter was super responsive and flexible. Service was flawless and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and will use again in future!
