Bill and Grayce were wonderful to work with — professional, attentive, and clearly passionate about doing the job right. The finished steps exceeded our expectations.

Grayce and Bill at Biosphere are the real deal. We've now hired them for two projects at our house and are about to sign them up for a third.

Project one was rebuilding our front steps, which had been in rough shape for 13 years. I interviewed six landscape contractors before choosing Biosphere, and they were the only one who arrived at the consultation with a drawing in hand. They understood exactly what we were trying to achieve, and their price was the fairest of the bunch for the scope of work involved. The craftsmanship was meticulous from start to finish. Four months later, the compliments still haven't stopped — our home finally has the grand entrance it always should have had.

Project two was a full overhaul of the planting beds flanking the new steps. Same outstanding result. What really stood out this time was that when inspiration hit them mid-project, they added several thoughtful design touches that weren't in the original plan — and didn't charge us a dime for the extras. That kind of pride in the work is hard to find.

Grayce and Bill are respectful, talented, and genuinely listen to both your vision and your budget. Next up: they're rebuilding our entire back patio. If you need a landscape architect who will actually deliver on what they promise, look no further.

They were also able to pivot and adjust designs in a timely manner as some of our needs changed along the way. This was quite an experience. Bill is literally a genius when it comes to this stuff. He came, took a look at it, had some great ideas, gave us a quote and 5 days later our lawn literally looks like nothing it did before. If I said it was a 100 percent improvement, that wouldn’t even give it enough credit. Just a super experience from start to finish. Honestly cannot believe what our lawn looks like now versus a week ago.

Bill did an outstanding job on our new home project. He spent the time to understand our needs, which were unique, and create and execute a plan that exceeded our expectations. Bill was easy to talk to, responsive and really listened to what we needed. He came up with a creative design for our front walkway and sourced amazing plants that work so well with the aesthetic of the property. I'm so happy when I drive up to my house and see the landscaping. His whole design was thoughtful and considerate of our budget. We had some extremely tight time constraints due to weather and other matters and he really came through. He and everyone on his team were delightful to work with. It feels like he and his team really love what they do.

We first used Bill when we did the landscaping for our house over 20 years ago. He was the first person we called to update and refresh our garden and to deal with some water issues. We were so excited with the creative solutions he and his team came up with. There are intangibles in design and Bill has great vision going beyond our expectations adding special touches to his work. He is also conscious of ecological views, looking to utilize plants and materials that support the local environment. The team that worked with him were excellent. Just great all around.

Leah, Bill’s assistant also has a keen eye and is a pleasure to work with. The working team and foreman were excellent. They cleaned up everything and actually smiled throughout the project.
